Abstract

This study has examined the affect of leader-member exchange (LMX) and sense of power to employee voice behavior. Employees were required to fill up online questionnaires to measure leader-member exchange (LMX), sense of power and voice behavior. This study used a regression analysis to test the hypothesis in a sample of 232 employees. The results show that the leader-member exchange and sense of power effect employee behavior. The finding provides evidence that the higher the quality of the leader-member exchange (LMX) and a high sense of power in employees will affect the willingness of employees to give their information, ideas and inputs. Moreover, this study discusses practical implications for how employees want to speak up and suggests future research.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the correlation between perceptions of electronic- word-of-mouth (e-WOM) with the intention of buying online fashion products among the millennial generation. The hypothesis of the proposed research is the positive and significant correlation between the variables of perceptions of e-WOM with the intention of buying online fashion products among the millennial generation. The subjects in this study were 684 people born in 1980-2000 who has no prior access or purchase of fashion products online and read the reviews or reviews online about fashion products. The data was collected by distributing a questionnaire study that contains scaled perceptions of e-WOM (21 items, 0.885) and purchase intention scale of online fashion products (4 items, ). The test results showed the assumption that the data are not eligible for normality but were qualified for linearity. The data analysis was performed using Spearman's rho method. Test results analysis shows that the variable perceptions of e-WOM positively correlated with the intention of buying online fashion products. Both of these variables have a correlation coefficient of r = 0.227 and the value of significance p = 0.000. Each dimension in the variable perceptions of e-WOM positively correlated with the intention of buying online fashion products. Dimensions credibility of e-WOM has a correlation coefficient of r = 0.221 and the value of significance (p = 0.000), the dimensions of the quality of e-WOM has a correlation coefficient of r = 0.239 and the value of significance (p = 0.000), and the dimensions of the quantity of e-WOM has a value the correlation coefficient r = 0.123 and the value of significance (p = 0.000).

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the correlation between doctors’ workload and healthcare service quality in the emergency department. The proposed research hypothesis shows that there is negative and significant correlation between doctors’ workload and healthcare service quality in the emergency department. Subjects in this study were 50 doctors and 134 nurses in the emergency department from six hospitals. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires, those are adaptations of NASA-Task Load Index Scale (α = 0,892) and Healthcare Service Quality Scale (α = 0,985). The analysis results showed that the data were normal but not linear. Instead of the data were not linear, hypothesis analysis was still carried out with Pearson Product Moment which requires normality of the data. The analysis showed that doctors’ workload didn’t correlate significantly with doctors’ healthcare service quality (p = 0,289), but those variable have negative correlation even though it is very low (r = -0,080). It can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis is rejected and the nol hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: Workload, Emergency Department Doctors, Healthcare Service Quality

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the correlation between self-efficacy and voice behavior among student organization members. This investigation holds significant implications for comprehending the intricacies of student organizations within the context of Sanata Dharma University. The present study utilized a sample size of 250 to gather data, and data analysis was conducted with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique utilizing the Smart PLS 3 software. The findings of the study indicate that self-efficacy exerted a favorable and statistically significant direct impact on voice behavior. In addition, it is noteworthy to mention another key conclusion, which suggests that cultural intelligence and cultural organization serve as crucial and constructive mediators in the association between self-efficacy and voice behavior. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the interplay of self-efficacy, cultural intelligence, and cultural organization in influencing the voice behavior of members within student groups. By examining these elements, this research contributes to a more profound comprehension of the underlying dynamics that define these organizations

Abstract

The community service program aimed at raising environmental awareness among the youth at St. Angela Sedayu Girls' Dormitory was conducted through three main phases: initial observation, outreach, and evaluation. The outreach provided education on environmental management, energy conservation, as well as the concepts of sustainable food consumption and slow fashion. This approach was supported by the moral and spiritual values from the encyclical Laudato Si', which emphasizes the importance of caring for the earth as our "common home."The results of the outreach demonstrated an increase in understanding and behavioral changes among the youth regarding waste sorting, reduced plastic consumption, and energy conservation. Additionally, the youth began adopting sustainable food consumption practices and decreasing their reliance on fast fashion. Although the program did not include long-term monitoring, the observed behavioral changes indicate potential sustainability if supported by appropriate management strategies. As a recommendation, the dormitory could implement a more effective waste sorting system, promote energy conservation, encourage local food consumption, and support slow fashion through creative programs. With a sustainable approach, the dormitory is expected to continue fostering an environmentally friendly culture among the youth.
