Abstract

Resilience is an ability of self-resilience that every individual must have in living his life so that individuals are able to organize their lives well. The purpose of this study was to determine the resilience of female workers during the pandemic in Yogyakarta and the aspects affecting the resilience of female workers during the pandemic in Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative type with a phenomenological approach through the interview method with six informants. The results showed that women during the pandemic had good resilience by avoiding negative thoughts and trying to be individuals who built a positive life with family support as the first bastion so that informants maintain their spiritual and physical health. This triggered the informants to remain productive in order to build a happy and healthy family environment.

Abstract

A functional performance assessment is crucial for planning an employee's career development working in the company. Nevertheless, related to the performance, so far, conceptually, it is divided into two, e.g., task and contextual performance. Subsequently, directly or indirectly, contextual performance influences individual task performance. Therefore, the study related to particular contextual performance becomes an essential matter to discuss. This study related to contextual performance is relatively scarce; moreover, it does not even find primarily in startup companies. The research objective is to observe the role of perceived organizational support, organizational culture, and servant leadership on contextual performance. The method in this study is quantitative correlation research. The participants in this research are startup employees who are actively working. The instrument for collecting data is a psychological scale consisting of a contextual performance scale, perceived organizational support scale, organizational culture scale, and servant leadership scale. The data analysis technique employs multiple regression analysis. The research result indicates that the coefficient values are R=0.589, F=4.615, and p=0.01 (p<0,05). Based on the data analysis result, simultaneously, perceived organizational support, organizational culture, and servant leadership is indeed contributed to contextual performance.Keywords: Organizational culture, Contextual performance, Perceived organizational support, servant leadership, Startup

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, komitmen afektif dan keterikatan kerja terhadap kinerja kontekstual guru sekolah vokasi. Terdapat kondisi positif dan negatif terkait dengan kinerja guru SMK Muhammadiyah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kepemimpinan transformasional, skala komitmen afektif, skala keterikatan kerja dan skala kinerja kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, komitmen afektif dan keterikatan kerja terhadap kinerja kontekstual. Uji parsial menunjukkan  pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel kepemimpinan transformasional, keterikatan kerja terhadap kinerja kontektual. Penelitian ini juga menemukan tidak adanya pengaruh antara variabel komitmen afektif terhadap variabel kinerja kontekstual.

Abstract

This correlational study aimed to present empirical evidence on the role of emotion-focused coping, learning motivation, and social skills in academic stress.   Respondents were 6th-semester students of the guidance and counseling department at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta (n=237). The multiple linear regression analysis results showed that emotion-focused coping, learning motivation, and social skills simultaneously affect academic stress. The result of this study provides university counselors with a reference on guidance and counseling services related to emotion-focused coping, learning motivation, social skills, and academic stress.

Abstract

Covid-19 affects healthcare professionals like nurses who handle positive Covid-19 patients directly, potentially having both a physical and psychological impact. It is possible to adapt to a pandemic and still be able to thrive, despite the fact that the disease continues to endanger lives and alter daily life. In an Islamic perspective, flourishing is known as a gift from Allah SWT and can be viewed as a state in which all areas of a person's life perform exceptionally well and are able to reach maximal development so that they can function fully. This study uses qualitative methods and uses interviews as data collection and the findings show that the five subjects have prospered and attribute divine values to each of their occupations by viewing their labor as deserving of devotion. The five subjects have the capacity to learn wisdom and to express gratitude for the blessings Allah SWT has bestowed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi impulsive reflektif dan reflective impulsif terhadap self-control outcome Subyek S dalam melakukan kekerasan berupa penganiayaan yang menyebabkan Korban T meninggal dunia di Satuan Reskrim Polres Purworejo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subyek penelitian adalah S sebagai pelaku kekerasan/penganiayaan terhadap ibu kandungnya sendiri. Analisis tema dilakukan untuk mengupas secara rinci data-data kualitatif yang dimiliki guna menemukan keterkaitan pola-pola dalam sebuah fenomena dan menjelaskan sejauh mana sebuah fenomena terjadi Analisis data studi kasus, interpretasi dan penyajian hasil akan dijelaskan secara rinci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rendahnya self-control outcome pada Subyek S sebagai pelaku kekerasan/penganiayaan terhadap ibu kandungnya. Hal ini disebabkan karena beberapa gangguan pada impulsive precursor seperti impulsivity yang menggambarkan beratnya tekanan hidup, simple task mengungkapkan subyek S tidak mau mengerjakan tugas berat dan tidak berupaya mencoba, pada risk seeking lebin berani menantang risiko, pada self-centered lebih berpusat pada diri sendiri dan cenderung mengabaikan orang lain, dan pada temper mudah menyalahkan orang lain jika berbuat salah. Sementara pada reflective precursor ditemukan pengambilan keputusan terhadap apa yang akan dikerjakan didasarkan pada keyakinan diri sendiri tanpa bantuan dan masukan dari orang lain, kurangnya keterbukaan, kebebasan untuk berefleksi terbatas.

Abstract

AbstrakPerilaku merokok pada usia anak dan remaja merupakan permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat yang perlu dicegah sejak dini. Anak usia sekolah dasar berada pada fase perkembangan yang rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan, sehingga memerlukan edukasi kesehatan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan membentuk sikap preventif siswa sekolah dasar terhadap bahaya perilaku merokok melalui kegiatan psikoedukasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas 4 SD Muhammadiyah Bodon, Kota Yogyakarta, dengan melibatkan 54 siswa. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan psikoedukasi preventif melalui penyampaian materi interaktif, media visual, permainan edukatif, serta diskusi sederhana. Evaluasi ketercapaian kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan serta observasi partisipasi siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa mengenai bahaya rokok, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 6,87 sebelum kegiatan menjadi 9,24 setelah kegiatan, dengan perbedaan yang signifikan. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi dan sikap menolak perilaku merokok. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan psikoedukasi efektif sebagai upaya preventif dalam menanamkan kesadaran perilaku hidup sehat sejak usia sekolah dasar. Kata kunci: psikoedukasi; pencegahan merokok; siswa sekolah dasar; promosi kesehatan; perilaku sehat AbstractSmoking behavior among children and adolescents is a public health issue that needs to be prevented early on. Elementary school children are in a developmental phase that is vulnerable to environmental influences, so they need health education appropriate to their developmental characteristics. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and shape elementary school students' preventive attitudes towards the dangers of smoking through psychoeducation activities. The activity was carried conucted with 54 fourth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Bodon Elementary School, Yogyakarta City. The community service method used a preventive psychoeducational approach employing interactive materials, visual media, educational games, and simple discussions. The evaluation of the activity's achievement was carried out using pre- and post-activity measurements and observations of student participation. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 6.87 before the activity to 9.24 after the activity, with a significant difference. In addition, students showed increased participation and an attitude of rejecting smoking behavior. These findings indicate that psychoeducation activities are effective as a preventive measure in instilling awareness of healthy behavior from elementary school age. Keywords: psychoeducation; smoking prevention; elementary school students; health promotion; healthy behavior
