Abstract

Strategi pengembangan tapak desa wisata (village tourism site) berbasis masyarakat di Kawah Wurung, yang berlokasi di Dusun Curah Macan, Desa Kalianyar, Kecamatan Sempol-Ijen, Kabupaten Bondowoso, dilakukan dengan menguatkan SDM pariwisata desa (POKDARWIS), penyediaan fasilitas dasar pariwisata, dan menejemen pengelolaannya.  Dengan kekhasan dan keunikan alam bekas kawah  yang eksotis, dari deretan pegunungan dan kawah Ijen,  desa wisata Kawah Wurung mempunyai daya tarik dan pesona yang sangat besar dan kuat bagi calon wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Sampai bulan Mei 2016, jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung, baik domestik maupun manca negara, terus mengalami grafik peningkatan signifikan, terlebih setelah sejumlah iven-iven wisata digelar secara rutin oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten  Bondowoso.  Strategi  pengembangan  tapak  desa  wisata di  Kawah  Wurung ini, adalah: 1). Menguatkan potensi tapak wisata Kawah Wurung sebagai desa wisata, untuk selanjutnya dilakukan pembenahan seluruh peta potensi yang dimilikinya sebagai landasan atau acuan pengembangan tapak wisata Kawah Wurung secara utuh di masa mendatang; 2). Mensosialisasikan kepada POKDARWIS dan masyarakat desa tentang potensi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan hambatan/ancaman pada tapak wisata Kawah Wurung, sehingga usaha pengembangan ke depan dapat dilakukan secara benar, menyeluruh dan berkesinambungan sesuai dengan panduan. Dengan demikian, data riil dan analisis lapang atas kebutuhan kebutuhan dasar pariwisata, khususnya untuk desa wisata, penulis jabarkan secara utuh, karena hal itu sebagai prasyarat awal untuk menjadikan tapak wisata desa Kawah Wurung sebagai salah satu icon pariwisata Kabupaten Bondowoso masa depan.

Abstract

Sisi terang, samar-samar, dan gelap globalisme telah dan sedang membanjiri sudut-sudut bumi manusia, yang kemudian dilabeli dengan ‘desa buana’ (global village). Konsekwensi logisnya adalah semua manusia dalam lintas budaya, ideologi, dan agama, terus menerus melakukan komunikasi secara lintas budaya pula. Budaya lokal, sebagai topik bahasan ini, secara sadar maupun tidak akan terus mengalami perubahan, baik dan buruk, seiring dengan dinamika budaya globalisme yang nyaris netral etis. Bahasa komunikasi, baik verbal maupun non-verbal merupakan alat komunikasi lintas budaya. Tujuh unsur kebudayaan oleh Koentjaraningrat akan selalu digunakan secara dinamis oleh kebudayaan lintas suku, agama, etnik, dan kepercayaan di penjuru buana ini. Penguatan dan pendidikan budaya, yakni gerakan literasi budaya, adalah suatu proses penguatan budaya lokal dalam dinamikanya dengan masyarakat di lingkup domestik maupun internasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang Analisis Strategi Pemasaran Pada Hotel Bintang III Dalam Situasi Pandemi Covid-19 ( Studi Kasus Hotel Bintang III Di Kabupaten Jember). Sehingga melalui penelitian ini dapat memberikan referensi pemikiran kepada mitra stakeholder yaitu asosiasi PHRI  (Persatuan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia) Cabang Jember dan lebih khusus kepada pelaku usaha jasa perhotelan sebagai acuan dalam mengambil kebijakan dalam menyikapi strategi  pemasaran hotel pada situasi pandemic Covid 19.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa strategi yang paling tepat dalam situasi Pandemi Covid 19 (Studi Kasus Hotel Bintang III Di Kabupaten Jember).Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah General Manajer Manajer Pemasaran dan pihak terkait (Studi Kasus Hotel Bintang III Di Kabupaten Jember). Tahapan kegiatan ini dimulai dengan survei, yaitu, penyelidikan instrumen uji. Setelah mendapatkan instrumen yang valid, tim peneliti semakin berkurang untuk mengeksplorasi informasi dengan wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner untuk mendapatkan data primer dan sekunder. Kesimpilan penelitian ini adalah (1) Keadaan persaingan berpengaruh terhadap hotel masa pandemi di Jember; (2) Perkembangan teknologi berpengaruh terhadap hotel masa pandemi di Jember; (3) Kebijakan politik dan ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap hotel masa pandemi di Jember; (4) Perubahan demografi berpengaruh terhadap hotel masa pandemi di Jember; (5) Perkembangan teknologi berpengaruh dominan terhadap hotel masa pandemi di Jember 
Pemancangan merek (brand) ‘tanoker’ di desa wisata sumber lesung-ledok ombo-jember sebagai pembeda daya tarik wisata perdesaan Juhanda .

Abstract

Abstract At present time, Tanoker has been becoming a part of typical identity locally as well as national, locating at Sumber Lesung village, Ledok Ombo Sub-District, Jember Regency, East Java, Indonesia. Tanoker means cocone. Intentionally, giving brand of Tanoker is to convey an image that cocone will be a beautiful butterfly attracting people to enjoy. The tourist site attraction of Tanoker at Ledokombo is to survive and modernize the traditonal and local playing of old times. Firstly, the purpose of the research is to dig up an urgency of village branding comprehensively, that is the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and its threats); secondly is to formulate branding for the sake of village tourism development; thirdly is to recommend the urgency of village branding to the tourist stakeholders, particularly for the local government to establish in village tourism policy. The researcher carries out SWOT analysis in order to get sufficient data by means of field observation, interview and questionaire to the whole respondents. This research is more qualitative analysis. The use of the research will be useful for some parties, particularly for village governments, because of every village needs branding based on each spesific characteristics they have. Tge result of this research will be sent to the accredited national journal of tourism. Keywords: branding, village tourism, SWOT analysis, Tanoker brand.

Abstract

This paper explores compatible recovery strategies executed by the tourism business owners to survive their businesses due to the undeniable stagnation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The present study utilizes semi-structured online interviews to explore participants' activities, experiences, and strategies to maintain the tourism business during the COVID-19 pandemic. We garnered all data concerning the practical field experiences of participants by distributing google forms and collected further information from communication via telephone and WhatsApp. The research results showcased three strategies for the tourism business survival: improving hygiene and health standards, intensifying promotion, and operational cost control. Practically, this research will benefit tourism businesses to be more resilient in uncertain conditions in the future. The current study also contributes to the authority to resolve relevant policies incorporated with economic recovery related to the crisis due to the pandemic.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini pada identifikasi faktor – faktor wisatawan memutuskan berkunjung ke pantai Papuma Jember. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa faktor yang paling dominan keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke pantai Papuma Jember. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah wisatawan dengan random sampling 100 responden. Metode yang digunakan adalah kausal komparatif deegan teknik  analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal wisatawan yang meliputi dana, motivasi, waktu luang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunung ke pantai Papuma; Faktor atraksi benar-benar tidak mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan; Faktor aksesibilitas benar-benar mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan; Faktor amenitas benar-benar tidak mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan penurutan pada sektor pariwisata. Salah satu sektor yang juga terdampak oleh Covid-19 pada sektor pariwisata adalah hotel. Hotel 88 Jember adalah salah satu hotel yang merasakan dampak dari pandemi Covid-19. Pada awal pandemi, yaitu pada Bulan Maret 2020 tingkat hunian di Hotel 88 Jember hanya mencapai 50%. Untuk meningkatkan penjualan kamar di Hotel 88 Jember maka perlu peran dari petugas reservasi kamar. Petugas reservasi di Hotel 88 Jember adalah bagian dari front desk agent.  Pada penelitian ini, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah terknik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah selain bertugas dalam penanganan seistem reservasi kamar, petugas reservasi di Hotel 88 Jember berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan penjualan kamar, yaitu dengan melakukan Upselling secara terus menerus.

Abstract

The community service activity entitled Social Media Ethics and Digital Footprint Education was conducted at PGRI 2 Patrang Junior High School, Jember Regency, to enhance students’ digital literacy and ethical awareness. This program addressed the increasing social media use among adolescents without sufficient understanding of digital ethics and responsibility. The activity employed a two-day seminar and interactive training approach, covering topics such as social media ethics, data privacy, and digital footprint management. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding from 58% to 87% based on pre-test and post-test scores. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and positive feedback. The program effectively fostered digital ethical awareness, critical thinking about online information, and responsible social media behavior. It is expected to serve as a sustainable educational model for schools to develop digital character among young learners

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key factor in the sustainable management of tourist destinations, especially in responding to environmental, social, and economic challenges in the modern tourism era. However, the use of digital technology in destination management still faces various obstacles, such as digital literacy gaps and coordination between stakeholders. This research aims to analyze sustainable tourism destination management strategies in the digital era by emphasizing the role of digital technology and multi-stakeholder collaboration. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using digital SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors, as well as stakeholder mapping to understand the role and relationships between actors in destination management. The results of the study show that digitalization contributes significantly to strengthening sustainable destination branding, increasing tourists' access to information, and forming more responsible visiting behaviors. However, limited digital literacy, uneven technological infrastructure, and the risk of access inequality are still the main challenges in the implementation of digital strategies. The discussion emphasized that digitalization plays a strategic role as a strategic infrastructure in sustainable destination governance and requires inclusive policy support and strong multi-stakeholder collaboration. This research provides theoretical implications by expanding the sustainable tourism framework through the integration of the digital dimension, as well as practical implications for destination managers and policymakers in formulating adaptive sustainable tourism management strategies in the digital age.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an important requirement for community-based organizations to improve governance and information services. The Sukodono branch of ‘Aisyiyah faced several challenges, including the absence of an integrated information system, limited digital literacy among administrators, and unstandardized activity documentation. This program aimed to enhance the organization’s digital capacity through website development and digital literacy improvement. A needs-based participatory approach was employed with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The activities included digital needs assessment, CMS-based website development, content management training, social media integration, and three months of intensive mentoring. The participants consisted of 18 active administrators. The results show that the organizational website was successfully developed and utilized as a digital information hub, reaching 1,428 users within the first three months. The average digital literacy score increased from 58.1 to 87.2 after the intervention. In addition, content publication frequency improved, and social media integration contributed to increased digital visibility, as reflected in higher follower growth and engagement rates. The implementation of documentation SOPs also improved activity recording consistency from 38% to 100%. These findings indicate that a needs-based and participatory intervention can gradually improve digital capacity and information systems within community organizations. However, the results are limited to a small organizational scope and a relatively short implementation period, suggesting the need for long-term evaluation to assess sustainability.
