Abstract

The application of discovery learning strategies in improving critical thinking skills at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Singapura is the title as well as the goal of this research. This study uses research methods with a qualitative approach or type of descriptive research. The results of the research implementation of discovery learning strategies in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic religious education subjects went very well, this was seen from the results of observations and learning activities where students experienced an increase in critical thinking when using discovery learning strategies to get a percentage 85% with good category. Critical thinking skills in students are also good. The supporting factors of this research start from the curiosity of students, self-confidence, opportunity and time, and learning selection strategies. While the inhibiting factor is the opposite of the supporting factor, namely the lack of curiosity of students, fear, and inferiority.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the ability of educators to apply the active learning method, (2) the activities of educators during the application of the active learning method, (3) the activities of students during the application of the active learning method and (4) student learning outcomes, during the application of the active learning method. The results showed that: (1) The ability of educators to manage learning methods in the first cycle was 2.41 for the second cycle increased to 2.93 and in the third cycle increased again to 3.00. So for three cycles there was an increase from cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III with good categories, (2) the activity of educators in the first cycle of material delivery activities was 34.33%. In the second cycle the dominant activity decreased to 22.33% while in the third cycle the dominant activity of educators was to provide guided training by 24.33%, (3) the student activity in the first cycle was 36.67%, the second cycle decreased to 26.67% until the third cycle. . the cycle decreased again to 23.33 so that for three cycles in general there was an increase, and (4) the learning mastery of classical students in the application of learning in the first cycle 60 to the second cycle increased to 88.89% and in the first cycle increased to 88.89 cycle II III has been achieved.

Abstract

AbstrakKebanyakan persepsi masyarakat yang tidak tepat, dengan menstigma pendidikan agama Islam sebagai sebuah lembaga yang tertinggal, amburadul, tidak tertib, dan jorok. Hal itu dikarenakan mereka melihat pendidikan agama Islam pada masa lalu sekitar  sebelum tahun 80-an. Persepsi masyarakat itu juga dipicu oleh kurangnya informasi perkembangan kemajuan pendidikan agama Islam saat ini. Hal itu disebabkan kurangnya publikasi perkembangan dan kemajuan serta hasil lulusan yang semakin prospektif. Para lulusan bukan hanya mampu berkiprah pada bidang agama tetapi juga mampu berkiprah pada bidang-bidang lain pada umumnya. Lebih dari itu para alumni pendidikan agama Islam bahkan mampu berperan pada level-level direktur, pimpinan perusahaan, kepala departemen dan birokrasi, serta mampu bersaing pada persingan masuk perguruan tinggi favorit dalam dan luar negeri. Kata Kunci: Persepsi Masyarakat, pendidikan agama islam

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan Agama selama ini lebih menekankan pada aspek ”knowing” dan doing dan belum banyak mengarah ke aspek being., yakni bagaimana peserta didik menjalani hidup sesuai dengan ajaran dan nilai-nilai agama yang diketahui (knowing), padahal inti Pendidikan Agama Islam berada diaspek ini. PAI kurang dapat berjalan bersama dengan program-program pendidikan non agama. PAI kurang mempunyai relevansi terhadap perubahan sosial yang terjadi dimasyarakat atau kurang ilustrasi konteks sosial budaya, atau bersifat statis kontekstual dan lepas dari sejarah, sehingga peserta didik kurang menghayati nilai-nilai agama sebagai nilai yang hidup dalam keseharian. Persoalan tersebut sebenarnya sudah bersifat klasik, namun hingga kini rupanya belum juga terselesaikan dengan baik, sehingga pada gilirannya menjadi persoalan yang berkesinambungan dari satu periode ke periode berikutnya. Para akademisi biasanya beragumen bahwa hal itu lebih disebabkan karena lemahnya penelitian termasuk ekperimen-eksperimen yang serius di bidang Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah. Key Word: Pembelajaran PAI dan Tuntutan Dunia Kerja

Abstract

Internalization of the value of religious moderation or wasatiyah as a form of resistance to extremism. The notion of radicalism caused by an internal misunderstanding of religious texts can be stemmed by a moderate understanding of Islam. This study aims to find out how the values of religious moderation are in Maahad Darulrahmah Pattani Thailand and how the method of cultivating religious moderation values is in Maahad Darulrahmah Pattani Thailand. This study used descriptive qualitative, observational data collection techniques, and interviews with the research subject, the Head of Maahad Darulrahmah Pattani Thailand. The results of the first study, the values of Religious Moderation in Maahad Darulrahmah Pattani Thailand are as follows: Tawassuth, Tawazun, I'tidal, Tasamuh, Musawah, Shura, Islah, Aulawiyah, Tatawwur wa ibtikar, Tahadhdhur, Al-Muwathanah, Qudwatiyah. Abstract

This research aimed to understand the concept of the Pancasila students' profile and the process of internalizing its ethical values through Al-Qur'an Hadith materials in SMKN 8 Surabaya. Furthermore, it used descriptive qualitative methods with field research types to obtain accurate data through conducting observations, interviews, and documentation as techniques for collecting data related to internalizing Pancasila students' profile values. The results showed the six dimensions of Pancasila students' profile, namely 1) having a belief in God and a noble character, 2) promoting global tolerance, 3) fostering cooperation, 4) promoting self-reliance, 5) developing critical thinking, and 6) promoting creativity. In her role as a teacher of Islamic Education, Mrs. Himma consciously incorporated these aspects into her teaching materials to instill the values of the Pancasila Students' Profile among Tenth Grade students through the study of Al-Qur'an Hadith.
