Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students’ mathematical understanding in the multi-variable calculus course. The method used in this study is a test. This test will be used to determine students’ mathematical comprehension abilities in the multivariable calculus course. The results of this study concluded that 3 students scored 50-60, 4 students scored 60-70, 6 students scored 70-80. There are several factors that cause student scores to not get perfect scores, namely in the learning process there is a need for an attractive learning model, the need for technology, etc.

Abstract

One of the geometry materials at the high school level is a parabolic. The ability to prove parabolic formulas is needed by students majoring in Mathematics Education who will become mathematics teachers after graduating. Having an understanding of proof of the formula will make learning more meaningful. The purpose of this research is to find out a description of the proof of parabolic formula based on high, medium, and low resilience levels, so that various obstacles can be overcome early. This research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used resilience questionnaires, test questions to prove the parabola formula, and interviews. The data analysis technique used data triangulation. The results showed that (1) there are three indicators in mathematical proof of parabolic mastered by students at high, medium, and low resilience levels, namely drawing the vertex, fixed point, and directrix line, determining the length of the two points, determining the results of the equation squared, (2) determining the coordinates of the vertex, fixed point, and the equations of the directrix mastered by students with a high level of resilience, but not yet mastered by students at moderate and low resilience levels, (3) determining two lines of the same length in the image according to the definition parabolic and determining the results of the multiplication distribution on addition and subtraction have been mastered by students at high and medium resilience levels, but not yet mastered by students at low resilience levels,

Abstract

Keberadaan self assessment system memungkinkan Wajib Pajak (WP) untukmelakukan kecurangan pajak. Adanya perlakuan tax evasion dipengaruhi oleh berbagai halseperti tarif pajak terlalu tinggi, kurang informasinya fiskus kepada WP tentang hak dankewajibannya dalam membayar pajak, kurangnya ketegasan pemerintah dalam menanggapikecurangan dalam pembayaran pajak sehingga WP mempunyai peluang untuk melakukantax evasion. Penerimaan pajak yang optimal dapat dilakukan dengan memberikanpemahaman secara memadai dan kontinu dari fiskus disamping juga memerlukankesadaran dari aparat perpajakan untuk memberikan sistem keadilan dan kejujuran dalamadministrasi dan pelayanan pajak.Kata kunci : self assesment system, tax evasion, pemahaman WP, kesadaran fiskus.

Abstract

Further calculus is a compulsory subject that must be taken by mathematics education students, while many students are not interested in this course. This greatly affects the learning process of advanced calculus courses, so the lecturer changes the strategy so that students have an interest in learning advanced calculus. In the learning process the lecturer uses Maple learning media so that in learning students have enthusiasm for further calculus. The purpose of this study is as follows: 1) to determine the effect of student interest on Maple learning media on learning outcomes, especially on integral topics; 2) how much influencebetween student interest and Maple learning media on learning outcomes, especially on integral topics. The method used is experiment with linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was an influence between student interest and Maple learning media on learning outcomes, especially on integral topics, (2) the influence between student interest and Maple learning media on learning outcomes, especially on integral subject of 30,3%. Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan dunia pendidikan sekarang telah maju pesat, hal ini bisa dilihat banyaknya yang melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi, meskipun ada yang gagal melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi negeri tetapi masih banyak pula yang melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi swasta dikarenakan tingkat semangat memperoleh pendidikan untuk mencapai cita-cita sangat besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi positif antara gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah kalkulus dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester I tahun 2016/2017 Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika IKIP Veteran Semarang yang menempuh mata kuliah Kalkulus Dasar. Subjek dalam instrumen penelitian untuk mengamati gaya belajar mahasiswa berupa angket, sedangkan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa, data yang digunakan berupa nilai ujian akhir semester mahasiswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan mahasiswa kebanyakan memiliki gaya belajar auditorial yakni sebanyak 50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel gaya belajar secara statistik tidak memiliki korelasi positif yang signifikan dengan variabel hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah kalkulus dasar. Hasil ini diperoleh berdasarkan perolehan hasil uji korelasi Product Moment yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa rxy = 0,0967 sedangkan tobs = 0,194311 yang mengidikasikan tidak terdapat korelasi positif antara gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah kalkulus dasar.Keywords:  Korelasi, gaya belajar, hasil belajar, kalkulus dasar

Abstract

Abstrak. Perguruan tinggi sekarang ini sangat ditekankan dalam proses pembelajaran hendaknya mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif memiliki kecenderungan dapat melatih mahasiswa untuk mengeluarkan ide-ide yang muncul atau mengekspresikan diri dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dan seberapa besarkah pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis regresi linear. Analisis data dengan menghitung koefisien korelasi dan uji signifikan nya kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menentukan persamaan regresinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai tidak signifikan serta kemampuan berpikir kreatif mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 22,5%.Kata Kunci: pengaruh, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, hasil belajar.Abstract. (The Corellation of Creative Thinking Ability and Student Learning Outcomes). Today’s universities are highly emphasized in the learning process students should have the ability to think creatively. The ability to think creatively has a tendency to train students to issue ideas that emerge or express themselves in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out is there any influence of the ability to think creatively on student learning outcomes and how much influence the ability to think creatively on student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with linear regression analysis. Data analysis by calculating the correlation coefficient and significant test then followed by determining the regression equation. The results showed that creative thinking ability influenced student learning outcomes with insignificant values and creative thinking ability influenced student learning outcomes by 22.5%.Keywords: Influence, Creative Thinking Skills, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

In the world of education, the thing that is very important and in line with current educational goals is the curriculum. The current education curriculum uses an independent curriculum, some schools now use an independent curriculum because the school system expects the results expected by the school from within and outside. An important role in the placement of this independent curriculum is the teacher. The teacher in the learning process runs the independent curriculum optimally. In this case it will affect the purpose of this community service activity that this community service activity will be able to provide an understanding of the teacher's readiness to implement the independent curriculum in the learning process that will be carried out. This service method uses lecture methods, question and answer, demonstrations and practical exercises. The result of this service is the understanding of participants in implementing the independent curriculum, and participants feel the benefits of this training activity.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the strengthening of the numeracy and digital literacy competencies of SDS IT Az-Zahra Demak teachers. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a field research approach. Research techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of community service in terms of strengthening teachers' numeracy and digital literacy competencies is the collaboration of all parties, including school principals, teachers, parents and students, to openly provide constructive suggestions and input for the progress of the school, in addition to providing provision in the form of training and workshops. digital. Strengthening in community service activities is provided in the form of workshops and training on digital teaching materials, learning methods and teacher abilities in numeracy and digital literacy competencies. This community service strategy was developed by teachers in terms of strengthening teachers' numeracy and literacy competencies. Strengthening material regarding numeracy and digital literacy competencies can also shape teachers' character and create innovations in digital-based learning materials.

Abstract

Indonesia has a considerable diversity of local wisdom in the form of customs, arts, and culture that deserves to be preserved. Integrating local Javanese Gamelan wisdom and the STEM field in learning at the university level to support the Independent Study Campus Curricula is essential. This research aims to develop an Ethno-STEM course design that studies gamelan to preserve Javanese culture. This study chose Morrison & Kemp's learning design development model, which includes nine main components. Based on the results of KKNI curriculum analysis, literature studies, and following the nine components of Morrison & Kemp’s model, the Ethno-STEM course design course is suitable for use in learning to support independent study. AbstrakIndonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan keberagaman kearifan lokal berupa adat istiadat, seni maupun budaya yang patut untuk dilestarikan.  Integrasi antara kearifan lokal Gamelan Jawa dengan bidang STEM dalam pembelajaran di tingkat perguruan tinggi dalam rangka mendukung Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka penting untuk dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan desain mata kuliah Ethno-STEM yang mengkaji mengenai gamelan dalam rangka melestarikan budaya  Jawa. Model pengembangan desain pembelajaran Morrison & Kemp dipilih dalam penelitian ini yang mencakup 9 komponen utama. Desain mata kuliah Ethno-STEM yang telah dikembangkan terdiri dari dokumen diantaranya yaitu model rancangan matakuliah, Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), bentuk penyetaraan SKS, rekonstruksi pembelajaran, bahan ajar, video serta aplikasi android berbasis augmented reality. Abstract

PISA results show a decline in mathematical literacy scores, indicating the need for teachers to design lessons that support the understanding of mathematical concepts in various contexts and times. Although direct interaction between students and teachers is limited, it is necessary to use learning media that allows students to learn flexibly, whenever needed. The use of student’s worksheet combined with Microsoft Mathematic Solver will facilitate students' curiosity to confirm the results of the student’s worksheet that have been done self-regulationly which can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the practicality of the Microsoft Mathematics Solver-based student’s worksheet on SMK Trigonometry material in increasing the self-regulation dimension in the Self-regulation Curriculum Pancasila Student Profile. This research is a development research that uses a modification of the 4D method. Validators consist of media expert lecturers, and math teachers. The instrument used is the validation sheet for the Microsoft Mathematics Solver-based student’s worksheet on SMK Trigonometry material. The data analysis technique used is the average test. The results obtained are the validity score of the Microsoft Mathematics Solver-based student’s worksheet on SMK Trigonometry material in increasing the self-regulation dimension in the Self-regulation Curriculum Pancasila Student Profile is 3.5 which is included in the valid category
