Abstract

Purpose: This community service aimed to strengthen human resources for takmir (mosque manager), mosque youth, parents, and the community in implementing a child-friendly and Covid-19 safe mosque management system. Method: The method used in this community event was Focus Group Discussion, training, and practice. These three methods were used to accommodate the community services. Results: The results of this community service show that the participants understand, know, and use the facilities wisely which established the child-friendly and Covid-19 safe mosque management system. Conclusions: This service is strengthening the human resources of takmirs, mosque youth, parents and the community. The activities carried out are training for mosque management, training for TPA teachers, establishing a children's reading corner, installing Wifi, and establishing a child-friendly and safe Covid-19 mosque organization board. Abstract

Talking about Indonesia will never end. Lately, many generations of students are far from Islam. It does not matter if Allah is pleased or not. Even the Qur’an was ignored. Education is not just looking for grades on a diploma, but education is a place to seek knowledge, then implement the knowledge gained in everyday life, and after that pass it on to others. The purpose this article is to interpret the regeneration of Al-Qur’an love education realized through the extracurricular tahfidz MTS N 2 Sleman. This research is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research approach. The data analysis technique used is by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the tahfidz extracurricular activities at MTS N 2 Sleman were able to restore the generation of Al-Qur’an love education as evidenced by the students participating in tahfidz extracurricular activities twice a week. Thus, the love of the Qur’an education desired by the creator will be able to output generations that are useful for the future of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the phenomenon of learning in the digital era and examine the steps, obstacles, and results of the transfer of character in educational institutions in Indonesia. This research was conducted at Candirejo Elementary School, Sardonoharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This research method is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, and the data of this research was analyzed with holistic analysis. The results of this study indicate that the learning phenomenon at Candirejo Elementary School always follows government policy. Currently, the learning is carried out using PTMT (Limited Face-to-face Learning).Furthermore, the transfer of character at Candirejo Elementary School is carried out in several steps, such as sending material through the WhatsApp application, YouTube videos, and playing videos in class. Although the three strategies are still not maximally carried out, the teachers still attempt to provide character education values. The problem is that teachers cannot directly supervise when students study at home, so the role of parents is needed to help students study at home.

Abstract

Various types of character education theories have swiftly developed, such as Thomas Lickona's notion of moral knowing, moral emotion, and moral deeds. The Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017 on Strengthening of Character Education has also spawned a slew of derivative theories. Some of the new results in character education are holistic-integrative and character-interconnected. However, character education, particularly Islamic education, continues to be a source of concern for all parties. The challenges of Islamic education are increasing with the sophistication of technology. The community's faltering use of technology is a major impediment to increasing Islamic education's principles. This study's research technique is descriptive-qualitative, utilizing literature reviews from a variety of scientific data sources. According to the findings and conclusions of this study, Islamic education in Indonesia plays both a function and a challenge in the age of disruption. Problems in the sphere of educational technology, the dichotomy of science, educational evaluation, subject matter delivery, and geographical challenges of Islamic education are among the challenges in Islamic education. Thus, to create a golden generation of Indonesia in 2045, Islamic education plays an important role in maintaining Islamic values, character values and noble character.

Abstract

Raden Ajeng Kartini merupakan seorang tokoh pahlawan nasional, yang terkenal dengan sebutan pelopor emansipasi wanita. Terkenal dengan karyanya yang berjudul Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang. Tokoh yang mampu mendobrak perempuan dari pengekangan hukum yang membatasi perempuan untuk berkembang dan maju. Sebagai sosok yang berpengaruh terutama untuk keadilan perempuan, R.A Kartini memiliki nilai-nilai karakter yang patut diteladani oleh para generasi muda. Karakter R.A Kartini memiliki kontribusi yang dapat diterapkan dalam pendidikan islam seperti kurikulum yang fokus pada pendidikan moral dan budi pekerti. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menjelaskan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dari sosok pahlawan wanita R.A Kartini yang sangat tepat untuk diterapkan di satuan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan paradigma kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari menelaah, menganalisis dan penyimpulan nilai karekter R.A kartini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai nilai pendidikan karekter R.A kartini di dalam buku habis gelap terbitlah terang yaitu religius, pantang menyerah, suka membaca, peduli, toleransi dan masih banyak lagi. kesimpulan dari penelitian  ini yaitu karakter R.A kartini dapat di terapkan dalam dunia pendidikan terutama dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik di zaman sekarang yang serba teknologi ini.

Abstract

Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie menjadi sosok inspiratif dimata generasi muda dimana ia memiliki karakter yang patut diteladani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang secara garis besar berfokus pada analisis nilai karakter dalam film Rudy Habibie (Habibie & Ainun 2). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat pada Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie selaku tokoh utama film Rudy Habibie dan bagaimana implementasinya dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan, yang menggunakan paradigma kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari penentuan objek analisis, pengumpulan data-data informasi, pengkajian klasifikasi secara deskriptif, dan penyimpulan mengenai analisis nilai-nilai karakter serta implementasinya dalam dunia pendidikan melalui film tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie di dalam film ini adalah toleransi, kreatif, rasa ingin tahu, religius, mandiri, gemar membaca, tanggung jawab, cinta tanah air, peduli sosial dan lingkungan, serta berprinsip. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi nilai-nilai karakter ini sangatlah relevan dengan pendidikan demi membentuk karakter generasi muda yang menjadi penerus bangsa.

Abstract

Abstract Bullying cases that occur in the world of education can no longer be stopped. This case continues to happen if educational system does not solve the problems that arise today. Islamic Education (PAI) teachers have an essential role in preventing these cases. This study aims to describe student learning process, Islamic education teacher strategies in student learning, Islamic education learning management, and strategy for strengthening student character in preventing deviant behavior. This study was qualitative research. The instruments used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in four stages: data collection, simplification, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that in developing students' emotional intelligence, PAI teachers used several strategies to manage the learning process. In addition, character education for students was done as a solution to prevent deviant behavior. Therefore, developing students' emotional intelligence can also prevent deviant behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif untuk meneliti penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) di sekolah. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan bagaiamana penerapan TQM dapat menjadi alat evaluasi dan perbaikan dalam masalah yang terdapat pada organisasi pendidikan di MAN 5 Sleman. Dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada input, proses dan output pelaksanaan pendidikan di MAN 5 Sleman yang terlebih dahulu mengidentifikasi permasalahan di dalamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan suatu kesimpulan tentang keadaan input, proses dan output yang telah berjalan kemudian menerapkan konsep TQM dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang ditemukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Jenis penelitian ini juga disebut sebagai penelitian empiris yaitu penelitian yang data dan informasinya diperoleh dari kegiatan di lapangan kerja penelitian. Data yang dianalisis adalah hasil wawancara dengan informan, pengamatan yang dilakukan serta analisis dokumen yang diperoleh. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang terletak di bagian proses pendidikan yakni belum maksimalanya program BTAQ, kurangnya jumlah guru agama, kurang sinergisnya guru dalam pengarahan ibadah harian dan proses pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 yang masih terpusat pada guru. TQM diyakini dapat memberikan masukan dan pandangan terkait dampak yang ditimbulkan dalam permasalahan tersebut dan bagaimana seharusnya prinsip TQM dapat menawarkan penyelesaian terhadap masalah tersebut.

Abstract

Potensi besar dari Zakat, Infak, Sedekah dan Wakaf tidak dimanfaatkan secara baik oleh masyarakat sekira masjid. Kurangnya literasi dan koordinasi serta transparansi menjadi sebab minimnya partisipasi masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarkat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan teori dan pengelolaan Zakat, Infak, Sedekah dan Wakaf, pada masyarakat di sekitar masjid al-Musthofa Jaten. Selain itu, adanya pengabdian bertujuan untuk semakin melibatkan banyak elemen masyarakat yang berpatisipasi aktif dalam peningkatan penerimaan dan optimalisasi pengelolaan ziswaf. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian adalah (1) Brainstorming FGD (Focus Group Discussion) (2)ceramah dan diskusi (3) praktik dan konsultasi pengelolaan ZISWAF. Hasil dari pengabdian ini, masyarakat mulai memahami literasi ZISWAF baik secara teoritis maupun praktis. Tim pengabdian mengadakan penyuluhan dengan materi ZISWAF secara teoritis bersumber dari Al-Qur’an, Hadis dan kitab-kitab fiqh. Sedangkan secara praktis, tim pengabdian memberikan tata cara pengelolaan ZISWAF dengan memberikan contoh dan studi kasus dari berbagai masjid. Selain itu, tim juga berhasil meluncurkan program donasi ZISWAF digital dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas QRIS dari BSI (Bank Syariah Indonesia). Adanya program ini memberikan kemudahan dan memperluas jangkauan masyarakat yang ingin berdonasi untuk masjid. Tim juga memberikan program monev (monitoring dan evaluasi), supaya bisa dilaksanakan secara rutin setelah adanya pengabdian.

Abstract

Abstract: This article examines kitab kuning (lit. yellow books: i.e, traditional or classical Islamic texts taught in pesantrens) and the formation of the religious character of Muslims in Indonesia. The study of religious character values ​​in the 'kitab kuning' was carried out at the State Madrasah Aliyah of the Religious Program (MANPK) MAN 1 Yogyakarta. MAPK provides additional 'kitab kuning' class to students so that they can become superior students in religious insight, nationality and the formation of Muslim character in Indonesia. Therefore, this study is important to determine the formation of Muslim character in Indonesia through learning the 'kitab kuning'. Using qualitative approach, this field research used interviews, observation and documentation in data collection. The result is that the 'kitab kuning' namely Ta'lim al-Muta'allim influences the formation of religious character values ​​for Indonesian Muslims. These character values ​​include; (1) maintaining knowledge, (2) respecting teachers and friends, (3) glorifying books, diligently studying and worshiping, (4) avoiding arrogance and humiliating others, (5) being patience in learning and discussion, (6) maintaining integrity (upholding the value of honesty), and (7) being responsible.
