Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pentingnya sikap nasionalisme bagi mahasiswa, keunggulan media pembelajaran Youtube, dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Youtube melalui mata kuliah Pancasila untuk membangun sikap nasionalisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi (dokumen terkait dan pemutaran film dengan judul “Guru Bangsa: Tjokroaminoto dan “Soekarno”) dan analisis data menggunakan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap nasionalisme sangat penting bagi mahasiswa, mengingat derasnya informasi yang berkembang terkait nilai dan budaya yang bertentangan dengan kepribadian bangsa. Media pembelajaran Youtube memiliki keunggulan, yaitu memudahkan mahasiswa untuk menguasai pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap atau kepribadian yang berdasarkan Pancasila khususnya sikap nasionalisme. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Youtube di dalam mata kuliah Pancasila untuk membangun sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa dapat diterapkan dengan memutar video-video terkait perjuangan para pahlawan misalnya film dengan judul “Guru Bangsa: Tjokroaminoto dan “Soekarno”, sehingga hati nurani mahasiswa akan tergerak untuk mengikuti perjuangan para pahlawan tersebut. Pada dasarnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Youtube di dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah sangat efektif dan efisien untuk membangun sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa.

Abstract

In the 2019 general election, many students were disqualified and took a stand of apathy towards the interests of the nation and the state, because they got information from social media whose existence could not be accounted for so it was very necessary to carry out political education through civic education by utilizing digital literacy. This research aims to find out 1) the importance of political education for students through civic education courses, 2) political education strategies through digital literacy in the learning process, and 3) obstacles to political education through digital literacy in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data collection technique uses interviews, observations, and document studies, and the data analysis used is interactive. The results showed that the civic education course is very effectively used as a vehicle for political education for students, considering that the content of the material is related to the rights and obligations of citizens, the state of law, democracy, and so on. A lecturer's strategy in providing political education through digital literacy is that lecturers present material related to political education by utilizing digital technology, using varied learning methods, utilizing political issues that are currently hot to be discussed and analyzed, providing space for students to discuss, utilizing social media as a learning medium, and providing motivation and inspiration. The obstacles experienced in the political education process are that some students still use their mobile phones to play games, limited time in the learning process, limited student knowledge related to the technology used, and lack of focus when the learning process is carried out online. AbstrakPemilihan umum tahun 2019 banyak mahasiswa yang golongan putih dan mengambil sikap apatis terhadap kepentingan bangsa dan negara, karena mendapatkan informasi dari media sosial yang keberannya belum bisa dipertanggungjawabkan sehingga sangat perlu dilakukan pendidikan politik melalui pendidikan kewarganegaraan dengan memanfaatkan literasi digital. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pentingnya pendidikan politik bagi mahasiswa melalui mata kuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan, 2) strategi pendidikan politik melalui literasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran, dan 3) kendala pendidikan politik melalui literasi digital dalam proses pemebelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode peneltian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen serta analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data interaktif. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sangat penting dan efektif digunakan sebagai wahana pendidikan politik bagi mahasiswa, mengingat muatan materinya berkaitan dengan hak dan kewajiban warga negara, negara hukum, demokrasi dan lain sebagainya. Strategi seorang dosen dalam memberikan pendidikan politik melalui literasi digital yaitu dosen mempresentasikan materi terkait pendidikan politik dengan memanfaatkan media digital, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariatif, memanfaatkan isu-isu politik yang sedang hangat untuk didiskusikan dan dianalaisis, memberikan ruang kepada mahasiswa untuk berdiskusi, memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran, dan memberi motivasi dan inspirasi. Kendala yang dialami dalam proses pendidikan politik yaitu masih ada beberapa mahasiswa yang memanfaatkan ponselnya untuk bermain game, keterbatasan waktu dalam proses pembelajaran, keterbatan pengetahuan mahasiswa terkait teknologi yang digunaka, dan kurang fokus ketika proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring.

Abstract

Inter-ethnic conflicts often occur in West Kalimantan, especially in Pontianak City, especially between Dayak, Chinese, and Malay ethnicities. Therefore, to build harmony in life between ethnicities, public spaces are needed that are accessed by various groups. Coffee shops are one of the potential public spaces to build harmony between ethnic groups. This article aims to determine the existence of coffee shops as public spaces in Kota Pontianak and the role of coffee shops as a space to build harmony in Pontianak City. This article publishes the results of research that uses qualitative approaches with phenomenological methods, data collection using interviews, observation, observation techniques, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. The research found that coffee rafting in Pontianak City becomes a public space that contains democratic, responsive, and meaningful values so that people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds visit coffee shops to rest, discuss business affairs, do tasks, have meetings, and so on. People who visit coffee shops come from various ethnicities (Malay, Dayak, Chinese, Bugis, Javanese, and Madurese). Through the coffee shop, they meet to talk about various things, so that familiarity is well- built  and  strengthens  social  integration.  Besides  being  able  to  build  a  harmonious  inter-ethnic  life, the existence of coffee shops can also increase the regional original income (PAD) of Pontianak City and absorb labor.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the competence of lecturers to face the challenges of artificial intelligence, the use of artificial intelligence-based learning media in the learning process of civic education, and the constraints of lecturers in utilizing artificial intelligence-based learning media. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study are lecturers who teach civic education courses. The data analysis used was content analysis, and this research was conducted at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. The results showed that in facing the challenges of the era of artificial intelligence, a lecturer, in addition to having pedagogic, professional, social, and personality competencies, must also have learning and innovation skills, digital literacy skills, and career and life skills. The use of artificial intelligence-based learning media at Universitas Sebelas Maret in the learning process is still relatively less than optimal because there are still some lecturers who do not utilize artificial intelligence technology. The obstacle faced by lecturers in utilizing artificial intelligence-based learning media is that there are still lecturers who cannot operate artificial intelligence technology, so the impact on student learning motivation is reduced. This phenomenon will have implications for the weak civic competence in students, especially civic skills so that they will experience obstacles in facing the development of the times.
