Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to found out the challenges of ethnic diversity in West Kalimantan in the era of society 5.0; found out strategies for implementing tolerance values in the era of society 5 in West Kalimantan; and  found out the implications of regional resilience in West Kalimantan.This study used a qualitative approach and used a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and random sampling techniques, and) literature review (journal articles, proceedings articles, online news accessed on the internet, magazines and books). The data analysis technique in this study had several stages, namely  collecting data,  condensing data,  presenting data, and  conclusion.The results of the study showed that the era of society 5.0 was a challenge for ethnic diversity in West Kalimantan, due to the rapid flow of information (hoax) that developed on social media. The response was to implemented the values of tolerance in the life of the nation and state (both in the real and virtual worlds). People in West Kalimantan must be able to realized that it was very important to established a harmonious life for the sake of unity and integrity. The attitudes that must be applied were  working together and not looking at differences, realizing that everyone had the same rights,  respecting and respecting each other, and  accepting other people's opinions, even though they had different opinions. This had implications for strong regional resilience in West Kalimantan, because it affected the existence of ideology, political stability, economic growth, harmonious socio-cultural life, good defense and security.

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out whether or not there is an effect of value clarification technique learning model application on civic disposition in the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali in the school year of 2016/2017. This study was an experimental quantitative research. The research design was true experimental design with posttest only control design model. The population of research was the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali in the school year of 2016/2017. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The sample of research consisted of 68 students: 34 in experimental and 34 in control groups. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation and questionnaire. Data validation for the students’ civic disposition questionnaire in basic competency of conceiving various effects and threats against the state in maintaining Bhinneka Tunggal Ika was carried out using validity and reliability test. To find out whether or not the items of question were valid, Pearson’s product moment correlational formula was used. Meanwhile, the reliability used in this research was Alpha Cronbach. Technique of analyzing data used was a two-independent sample t test.Considering the research an average score of 86,03 experimental class is higher than he average score of 80,76 control class. Then the hypothesis testing using a two independent sample t test with t statistic > t tabel 13,560 > 1,997 at significance level of 5% means that there are difference of  civic disposition between the students in experiment and those in control classes. So that from the result it could be found that there was an effect of value clarification technique learning model on the students’ civic disposition in basic competency of conceiving various effects and threats against the state in maintaining Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali in the School Year of 2016/2017. Keywords: Value Clarification Technique, Civic Disposition

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) knowhow the implementation of PKH policies towards the fulfillment of social rights of poor elderly citizens. (2) to find out the factors that affect the implementation of PKH policies. This study used descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data used are informants, events or activities and documents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Techniques of the data collection and compilation of data were done by interviews, observation and document analysis. The researcher used data triangulation and triangulation methods to obtain valid data. While the techniques of analyzing the data using interactive models are: (1) data collection (2) data reduction (3) data presentation and (4) drawing conclusions. This research procedure follows the following steps: (1) pre-field, (2) field implementation, (3) field analysis, and (4) preparation of the research report. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that: (1) Implementation of PKH in the fulfillment of the social rights of poor elderly people in Jebres District has been run in accordance with the SOP in the PKH guidebook, These activities include: Targetting, Socialization, Grants, group meetings, assistance and commitment verification. (2) There are supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of PKH in Jebres Sub-district, Supporting Factors: Resources, Public Support, and Characteristics of implementing agents, while the constraining factors: Communication, Disposition. and goals. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Relevansi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match yang digunakan guru pada kompetensi dasar menelaah Pancasila sebagai dasar negara dan Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa; 2) Kendala yang ditemukan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match yang digunakan guru pada kompetensi dasar menelaah Pancasila sebagai dasar negara dan Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengujian validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif.Simpulan hasil penelitian: 1) Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru pada kompetensi dasar menelaah Pancasila sebagai dasar negara dan Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match, model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru “relevan marginal” apabila digunakan pada kompetensi dasar menelaah Pancasila sebagai dasar negara dan Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa dikarenakan hanya memenuhi dua persyaratan untuk dapat dikatakan relevan , 2) Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match pada kompetensi dasar menelaah Pancasila sebagai dasar negara dan Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa menurut guru yaitu memerlukan banyak waktu pada pembentukan kelompok dan pelaksanaannya serta sulit membuat siswa berkonsentrasi karena ketakutan siswa jika terkena hukuman, sedangkan kendalanya menurut siswa yaitu takut apabila terkena hukuman ketika salah menjawab. Kata Kunci: Relevansi, pembelajaran, kooperatif tipe make a match.

Abstract

This research has aims to know: 1) employee’s, entrepreneur’s, and government’s perception about proper payment, 2) Government’s role, labor offices and industrial, strives for proper payment, 3) problem and government’s problem solve to strive proper payment.This research used qualitative research method with purposive sampling technique. Data collecting technique which is used are observation, interview and documentation. Trustworthiness of the Data which is used is source of the data triangulation and triangulation method. The data analysis of the research used interactive analysis method.The results of the research show that: 1) there are some of differences perception between employee, entrepreneur, and government on proper payment. Employees have a hunch that proper payment is payment which appropriate with their requirement. According to entrepreneur’s point of view, proper payment is payment which is agreed by both of employees and entrepreneur. Whereas, according to government’s proper payment is payment which appropriate with requirement based on KHL calculation. 2) Surakarta Labor Offices and industrial’s role about minimum payment are; a) payment minimum calculation, b) suggesting to Regent or Mayor, c) doing monitoring, d) giving punishment. Whereas in the principal structure and payment scale; a) giving training and socialization, b) doing monitoring, c) giving punishment. 3) problems ; a) entrepreneur’s less understanding  about structure and payment scale, b)there is entrepreneur which is burdened and do not arrange the structure and payment scale. Problem solutions; a) giving socialization and training to entrepreneur, b) giving administration punishment to the entrepreneur which do not arrange the structure and payment scale.  Keywords: authority, payment, employees, labor offices and industrial.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pentingnya sikap nasionalisme bagi mahasiswa, keunggulan media pembelajaran Youtube, dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Youtube melalui mata kuliah Pancasila untuk membangun sikap nasionalisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi (dokumen terkait dan pemutaran film dengan judul “Guru Bangsa: Tjokroaminoto dan “Soekarno”) dan analisis data menggunakan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap nasionalisme sangat penting bagi mahasiswa, mengingat derasnya informasi yang berkembang terkait nilai dan budaya yang bertentangan dengan kepribadian bangsa. Media pembelajaran Youtube memiliki keunggulan, yaitu memudahkan mahasiswa untuk menguasai pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap atau kepribadian yang berdasarkan Pancasila khususnya sikap nasionalisme. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Youtube di dalam mata kuliah Pancasila untuk membangun sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa dapat diterapkan dengan memutar video-video terkait perjuangan para pahlawan misalnya film dengan judul “Guru Bangsa: Tjokroaminoto dan “Soekarno”, sehingga hati nurani mahasiswa akan tergerak untuk mengikuti perjuangan para pahlawan tersebut. Pada dasarnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Youtube di dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah sangat efektif dan efisien untuk membangun sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa.

Abstract

The reading index in Indonesia is still relatively low, so many students are victims of fake news that develops on social media. In addition, students have not been able to utilize digital technology as digital literacy to the fullest, so it has implications for the weakness of knowledge about civic literacy. The research design used is a literature review and the type of qualitative research. The research method is literature, while the data collection technique uses document studies and the data analysis used is content analysis. Civic literacy has an important role in facing the era of society 5.0, with the ability of civic literacy, really helps students to participate in realizing the harmony of the life of the nation and state. Society 5.0 has a formidable challenge for higher education if each lecturer does not equip students with civic literacy skills. Strategies to strengthen civic literacy through digital literacy can be carried out effectively, by implementing varied learning methods and using digital-based learning media. Through this, students will be interested in learning, considering that students are a digital native generation who cannot be separated from digital technology. Strengthening civic literacy is very effective by utilizing digital literacy so that every student can adapt to the times, especially society in the 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of democratic education in anticipating racial politics and the implications of democratic education on harmony between differences. This study used a qualitative approach with a literature research method. The data collection technique in this research was documentation (journals articles (nationally reputable, nationally indexed by Sinta, internationally indexed by DOAJ, and internationally indexed by Scopus), books, online news and others) and the data analysis used is content analysis. The results showed that the role of democratic education is to instill democratic values based on the nation's personality, such as tolerance, responsibility, openness between others, justice, realizing diversity, humanity and others. Democracy education activities could be carried out in schools through civic education learning, in the family environment carried out by often interacting with friends or relatives who have differences in religion, ethnicity, race and others, and in the community can be done by deliberation in RT meetings and holding regional art activities. Governments, political parties, organizations, and families can organize democracy education. Suppose the role of democracy education runs optimally. In that case, it can anticipate politics with SARA nuances so that it will have implications for harmony between others, including religions, tribes, races, groups and so on. Harmony of life among others in the life of the nation and state is the ultimate goal of democratic education.

Abstract

The digital era hurts the crisis of student character, especially the nationalism character. Some lecturers fail to respond wisely due to the low use of digital-based learning media. This study aims to analyze the role of Pancasila Education lecturers in fostering the character of nationalism in the era of disruption, and the strategy of the Pancasila Education course in developing the character of student nationalism through video-based learning in the era of disruption. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, literature studies, and questionnaires. The data analysis used is interactive, while the research subjects are 2 lecturers and 28 students. The role of Pancasila Education lecturers is very important in fostering the character of student nationalism so that learning methods and media must be based on digital technology, especially video-based ones. Video-based learning for the Pancasila Education course is a useful strategy to develop the character of student nationalism because it is easily accessible. The results of this study are an alternative for lecturers and teachers in building the nationalistic character of students, considering that the digital era hurts the millennial generation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the competence of lecturers to face the challenges of artificial intelligence, the use of artificial intelligence-based learning media in the learning process of civic education, and the constraints of lecturers in utilizing artificial intelligence-based learning media. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study are lecturers who teach civic education courses. The data analysis used was content analysis, and this research was conducted at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. The results showed that in facing the challenges of the era of artificial intelligence, a lecturer, in addition to having pedagogic, professional, social, and personality competencies, must also have learning and innovation skills, digital literacy skills, and career and life skills. The use of artificial intelligence-based learning media at Universitas Sebelas Maret in the learning process is still relatively less than optimal because there are still some lecturers who do not utilize artificial intelligence technology. The obstacle faced by lecturers in utilizing artificial intelligence-based learning media is that there are still lecturers who cannot operate artificial intelligence technology, so the impact on student learning motivation is reduced. This phenomenon will have implications for the weak civic competence in students, especially civic skills so that they will experience obstacles in facing the development of the times.
