Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan militansi yang ditunjukkan perempuan dalam pemilihan presiden 2019 di Indonesia. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi salah satu bentuk dari partisipasi politik perempuan dalam pemilihan presiden 2019. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisa wacana kritis (Critical Discourse of Analysis-CDA) dalam konstruksi slogan the power of emak-emak. Penulis mengeksplorasi rangkaian tindakan politik kelompok ibu-ibu yang terampil memproduksi teks lagu unik dan kampanye politik menarik sebagai perwujudan dukungan kepada salah satu calon presiden. Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peran perempuan dalam prosesi demokrasi tahun 2019 kian terlihat nyata dengan melibatkan diri dalam kampanye kreatif bersama, melakukan kontrol bagi jalannya pemerintahan, serta menyuarakan kemerdekaan kaum perempuan dalam memilih pemimpin. Serangkain aktivitas politik tersebut satu sisi merupakan wujud fase kematangan berdemokrasi, namun di sisi lain suara kaum perempuan tersebut tidak bisa lepas dari kepentingan kekuasaan kelompok oposisi.

Abstract

This research describe the militancy shown by women in the presidential election at 2019 in Indonesia. This paper aimed to explore women's political participation in presidential elections at 2019. The research approach used Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) in the construction of the power of emak-emak (motherhood). The author explored a series of political actions by a group of mothers who were skilled at producing unique song texts and interesting political campaigns as an expression of support for one of the candidates. These findings indicated that the role of women in current general election was increasingly apparent by involved joining creative campaigns, controling government policies, and giving voice of women`s independence. One side of the political activities is a form of democratic maturity phase, but on the other hand cannot be separated from the power and authority relation of the opposition groups.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms of the fulfillment of education rights for children in conflict with the criminal law in Indonesia through the "Independent School" program and the factors hindering its practice. It was field research in the form of a case study with data collection techniques: observation and interviews. The research findings reveal that the fulfillment of the right to education for children conflicts with the criminal law (ABH) already carried out but not optimally as regulated in Permen PPPA No. 15 of 2010. This can be seen from the efforts of the staff at LPKA to open non-formal classes even though they do not have adequate classrooms and facilities and the unavailability of professional teaching staff. The inhibiting factor is the absence of human resources in the form of professional teaching staff and limited facilities and infrastructure. As a result, the implementation of education did not work well because the teaching staff did not have an official educational background, and teaching activities were only performed as additional duties as staff at LPKA. The study results show that the LPKA staff's role is vast in providing education to ABH regularly to fulfill education rights. The implications are expected to become input for the LPKA Class II Maros policy to provide management and learning techniques to staff and input for the central government to recruit teaching staff and social workers as well as the provision of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

                                                 ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine and describe the marriage intention in college students during the COVID-19 pandemic based on the theory of planned behavior from Ajzen (2005) with three determinant factors, namely attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection in the form of interviews with primary data sources. The subjects in this study amounted to 3 female students with the criteria for will getting married and had got engaged. The data analysis technique was carried out using an interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation/display, then conclusions or verification. The results showed that the Covid-19 pandemic did not affect the students' marriage intention. Determinants of marriage intentions are formed from attitudes towards the behavior in the form of a positive attitude towards marriage which is obtained from the belief in the positive benefits that are imagined and the description of the risks that will be faced. The next marriage intention is formed by subjective norms in the form of parental influence and the desire to imitate the positive experiences of other students who are married while studying. Furthermore, the intention to marry is formed on the determinants of perceived behavioral control factors in the form of the subject's belief in the ability to control behavior to prevent conflict and find solutions to household problems that will be faced stemming from his status as a student. Another finding in this study is that belief in religion and adherence to religious teachings are sources of information that strengthen the determinant factors so as to form a strong intention to marry.Keywords: intention, marriage, college students, covid-19ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan intensi menikah pada mahasiswa di masa pandemi covid-19 berdasarkan teori perencanaan perilaku dari Ajzen (2005) dengan tiga faktor determinan yaitu attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, dan perceived behavioral control. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengambilan data berupa wawancara pada sumber data primer. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang mahasiswi dengan kriteria akan melangsungkan pernikahan dan telah menjalani proses lamaran. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model analisis interaktif oleh Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, presentasi/display data, lalu kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi covoid-19 tidak mempengaruhi intensi menikah pada mahasiswa. Determinan intensi menikah dibentuk dari sikap terhadap perilaku (attitude towards the behavior) berupa sikap positif terhadap pernikahan yang didapatkan dari keyakinan akan manfaat positif yang dibayangkan serta gambaran resiko yang akan dihadapi. Intensi menikah berikutnya dibentuk oleh norma subjektif (subjective norm) berupa pengaruh orangtua serta keinginan untuk meniru pengalaman positif mahasiswa lain yang menikah sambil kuliah. Selanjutnya, intensi menikah dibentuk atas determinan faktor persepsi kontrol perilaku (perceived behavioral control) berupa keyakinan subjek akan kemampuan mengontrol perilaku untuk mencegah konflik maupun menemukan solusi dalam permasalahan rumah tangga yang akan dihadapi yang bersumber dari statusnya sebagai mahasiswa. Temuan lain dalam penelitian ini adalah keyakinan terhadap agama serta kepatuhan terhadap ajaran agama menjadi sumber informasi yang memperkuat faktor determinan sehingga membentuk intensi yang kuat untuk menikah.   Kata Kunci: Intensi, mahasiswa, menikah, covid-19.

Abstract

This study aimed to see the relationship between the frequency of positive self-talk and the level of communication apprehension experienced by colege students.This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The researchsample consisted of 75 students of the BKI IAIN Parepare Study Program, consisting of15 male and 70 female. The data collection technique by providing a scale in the formof the Self-talk Scale from Brinhaupt, Hein, and Kramer (2009) for measuring thefrequency of positive self-talk and the Personal Report of Communicationapprehension (PRCA) scale from McCroskey (1994) for measure communicationapprehension. The product moment analysis test is used to test the hypothesis byanalyzing the relationship between the frequency of doing positive self-talk and thelevel of communication apprehension. The results showed that there was a relationshipbetween the frequency of doing positive self-talk with the level of communicationapprehension among students with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and acorrelation coefficient value of -0.452. The more often students do positive self-talk, thelower level of communication apprehension they feel. The effective contribution givenby the positive self-talk variable to the communication apprehension variable was45.2%. The implication of this study shows that positive self-talk techniques can beused in improving students' personal competence in communication and can be appliedto various communication situations, including the guidance and counseling process.

Abstract

Kegiatan berdzikir atau megingat allah merupakan salah satu bentuk ibadah dalam ajaran islam yang dapat memberikan ketenangan. Berdzikir memiliki ragam manfaat bagi jasmani-rohani, salah satunya dapat mencegah dari gangguan mental seperti depresi karena dapat menimbulkan efek positif berupa ketenangan atau kestabilan emosi. Selain itu, dzikir juga dianggap sebagai bentuk relaksasi yang dapat memberikan warna baru bagi individu yang cenderung mengalami depresi karena menjadi korban bullying. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana terapi relaksasi dzikir dapat mengurangi tingkat depresi pada korban bullying. Metode studi literarur digunakan dalam artikel ini dengan menggabungkan teori dan hasil-hasil penelitian untuk dievaluasi, kemudian disimpulkan oleh penulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relaksasi dzikir sangat bermanfaat bagi orang yang mengalami gangguan mental salah satunya depresi karena dzikir dapat membantu memulihkan kesadaran individu dan kembali dapat merenungkan akan esensi Allah dan seluruh ciptanNya serta segala kehendakNya yang terjadi di dunia.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan Psikologis adalah suatu kondisi individu yang tidak hanya terbebas dari tekanan, tetapi juga kondisi yang dianggap sehat dan berfungsi secara optimal. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana memaafkan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Metode literature review digunakan dalam artikel ini dengan menggabungkan teori dan hasil-hasil penelitian untuk dievaluasi, kemudian disimpulkan oleh penulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memaafkan berengaruh terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis individu yang didasarkan atas kondisi memaafkan yang dianggap sebagai motivasi atau dorongan untuk berdamai dan membebaskan respon negatif atas perilaku tidak menyenangkan yang diterima dari orang lain. Kaitan antara pemaafan dan kesejahteraan psikologis yakni terhadap perubahan pola pikir, respon emosi, dan perilaku yang negatif kepada respon yang lebih positif.

Abstract

Teaching anxiety is feeling powerless and experiencing tension in teaching. A high level of anxiety affects the quality of teaching performance and teachers’ teaching resilience. This study aims to describe teaching anxiety levels and coping strategies of EFL novice teachers in teaching four English skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). This study employed a descriptive quantitative design. The data were collected by using online surveys. Total sampling was employed, and ten novice teachers of Islamic schools in Sidrap regency, South Sulawesi, completed online questionnaires adapted from DASS 42 and the COPE scale. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics. The findings showed that EFL novice teachers experience severe anxiety in teaching productive skills (speaking 15.5 and writing 15.1) and moderate anxiety in teaching receptive skills (listening 13.8 and reading 14.8).EFL novice teachers used problem focused strategies more than emotion-focused strategies to combat their anxiety.Keywords: Teaching Anxiety; Coping Strategy; EFL Novice Teachers
