Abstract

Introduction: There are still many people who are against the vaccine even though it has gone through the clinical trial stages according to the standard. Students are agents of change. Students as part of the public's mind are expected to be able to become pioneers of successor to health information sources to the community. This study aims to determine Student Perceptions of the Madura State Polytechnic Health Department on Covid 19 Vaccination. Methods: The design used in this study was a descriptive design. The population in this study were all students of level I, II and III academic year 2021-2022, Madura State Polytechnic Health Department, taken using a sampling technique using a non-probability cluster sampling technique. Data analysis used descriptive data analysis, descriptive data analysis explained the indicators of questionnaire analysis of each variable. Results: The results showed that most of the students of the Department of Health (94%) had a positive perception of the covid-19 vaccination. Conclusion: Students as part of the academic community are one of the important aspects in changing behavior in people's lives. Students are the delivery of information as well as part of the component of delivering good, correct, and educative information to the community. Positive student perceptions about vaccination and prevention of transmission as well as improving healthy lifestyles are expected to be able to provide more value in the development of public health status

Abstract

Backgrounds: Character education is currently one of the solutions to overcome moral decline. From a psychological point of view, the character describes several potentials. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of P2KK on the soft skills of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Methods: The research design used was a pre-experimental group pre-posttest design. Sampling in this study used non-probability sampling with a quota sampling technique. The samples used were 100 students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang class of 2018 who took part in P2KK batches 24 and 25. Data collection used the LEQ (Life Effectiveness Questionnaire) questionnaire with data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: Soft skills of University of Muhammadiyah Malang students before participating in P2KK 72% had a medium category with an average value of 140, and soft skills after P2KK 76% had a medium category with an average value of 15. Based on the results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon test, significant results were obtained (p =0.00), meaning there are differences in soft skills before and after P2KK. Conclusion: There is an effect of P2KK on the soft skills of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang with an experiential learning approach that can improve soft skills. The most significant influence is on the attribute of controlling emotions. The UPT recommends it. P2KK to find out and evaluate the soft skill character of P2KK participants so that the training can specifically improve the soft skills that are lacking.

Abstract

Stroke merupakan sindrom klinis yang terjadi secara mendadak akibat gangguan aliran darah ke otak, yang dapat menyebabkan sumbatan atau pecahnya pembuluh darah otak, sehingga menimbulkan gangguan neurologis fokal maupun global. Kondisi pasca stroke dapat menurunkan kemampuan individu dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari (Activity of Daily Living/ADL), sehingga memerlukan dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemenuhan ADL pada penderita pasca stroke di Desa Nyalabu, Kecamatan Pamekasan, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain observasional analitik korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 38 orang. Variabel independen adalah dukungan keluarga, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah ADL. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan indeks Barthel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki dukungan keluarga tinggi (58%) dan ketergantungan ringan dalam ADL (55%). Uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p = 0,001 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dan pemenuhan ADL pada penderita pasca stroke. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan ADL pada penderita pasca stroke. Diharapkan keluarga dapat memberikan dukungan maksimal agar kemampuan aktivitas harian penderita pasca stroke dapat meningkat
