Abstract

 AbstrakLirik lagu merupakan puisi indah yang dinyanyikan. Para pendengar cenderung menikmati lagu karena indah dan asyik didengar padahal banyak lagu karya ade govinda memberikan makna yang positif. Sehingga penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat atau pendengar tentang lagu Ade Govinda salah satunya lagu “Cukup Lebih Baik”untuk memahami makna tersirat dan tersurat dalam karya karya beliau. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu yang pertama untuk menganalisis unsur fisik dalam lirik lagu “cukup lebih baik”yang kedua untuk menganalisis unsur batin pada lirik lagu “cukup lebih baik” dan yang terakhir untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai syukur yang terdapat pada lirik lagu “cukup lebih baik” metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data primer dan sekunder sementara teknik analisis data dengan cara analisis semiotika Ferdinand de Sausuure. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unsur fisik yang terdiri dari diksi dalam lagu ini adalah denotatif dan konotatif, citraan/imaji dalam lirik lagu ini yang paling dominan adalah imaji perasaan, majasnya yaitu paralelisme dan personifikasi, kata konkret dalam lirik ini yaitu lebih baik cukup, tipografi yang digunakan huruf besar kecil dan tanda baca lengkap.  Sementara rima yang dipakai penyair dalam puisi ini merupakan rima bebas karena suku kata yang ditetapkan penyair adalah bebas. Pada unsur batin meliputi tema dalam lirik lagu ini yaitu rasa syukur kemudian nada sendu dan syahdu Rasa yang tergambar dalam lirik lagu tersebut mengungkapkan rasa bahagia pada diri penulis kemudian amanatnya adalah rasa cukup dengan apa yang dimiliki melahirkan kesyukuran. Pada unsur nilai syukur yaitu penulis merekonstruksi hubungan tanda dan penanda adalah pada setiap larik cukup yang mengandung nilai syukur.Kata kunci : Konstruksi, Lirik lagu, Nilai syukur, Semiotika    CONSTRUCTION OF GRATITUDE VALUES IN SONG LYRICS (FERDINAND DE SAUSSURE SEMIOTICS ANALYSIS OF “BETTER ENOUGH” SONG LYRICS) Abstract Song lyrics are beautiful poems that are sung. Listeners tend to enjoy songs because they are beautiful and fun to listen to, even though many songs by ade govinda have a positive meaning. So that this research is motivated by the desire to provide an understanding to the public or listeners about Ade Govinda's songs, one of which is the song "Enough is Better" to understand the implied and explicit meanings in his works. The purpose of this study is that the first is to analyze the physical elements in the lyrics of the song "pretty better", the second is to analyze the inner element in the lyrics of the song "pretty better" and the last is to find out the values of gratitude contained in the lyrics of the song "pretty better." "The research method used is a qualitative descriptive technique with primary and secondary data collection techniques, while the data analysis technique is using Ferdinand de Sausuure's semiotic analysis. The results show that the physical elements consisting of diction in this song are denotative and connotative, the imagery in the lyrics of this song is the most dominant image of feeling, the figure of speech is parallelism and personification, the concrete words in this lyrics are better enough, typography is capital letters and full punctuation are used. Meanwhile, the rhyme used by the poet in this poem is free rhyme because the syllables set by the poet are free. The inner element includes the theme in the lyrics of this song, namely gratitude, then the tone is sad and solemn. The feeling depicted in the lyrics of the song expresses a sense of happiness in the author, then the message is a sense of being content with what one has, giving birth to gratitude. On the element of gratitude value, the writer reconstructs the relationship between the sign and the marker, that each array contains enough gratitude value.Keywords : Construction, Song Lyrics, Gratitude Value, Semiotics

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis deiksis dalam novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak karya Adhitya Mulya. Jenis-jenis deiksis dalam penelitian ini meliputi deiksis persona, deiksis tempat, deiksis waktu, deiksis wacana, dan deiksis sosial. Menentukan makna dari suatu kata atau frasa yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam novel yang diteliti berjudul Sabtu Bersama Bapak terdapat kelima jenis deiksis sesuai dengan teori tentang deiksis yakni deiksis persona orang pertama meliputi saya, aku, gue, gua, I, i’m, me, ane, kami, dan kita. Deiksis persona orang kedua meliputi kamu, anda, kau, elo, lo, lu, elu, kamuh, ente, you dan kalian. Deiksis persona orang ketiga meliputi dia, ia, dan mereka. Deiksis tempat meliputi di sana, di sini, ke sana, ke sini, dan di situ. Deiksis waktu meliputi dua hari yang lalu, saat ini, sekarang, setiap Sabtu sore, setiap minggu, tadi, kemarin, nanti, besok, dulu, hari ini, dan lain-lain. Deiksis wacana anafora meliputi dia, ia, nya, dan mereka. Deiksis wacana katafora meliputi dia, nya, dan mereka, serta deiksis sosial meliputi remaja, bungsu, kakang, jomlo, ustaz, beliau, paman, tante, saudara sepupu, nelayan, suami, janda, karyawan, juragan warung, jeng, MC, dokter, sales, dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

This study aimed to study the effect of drama-based language teaching on students' presentation skills in college. This study used a quasi-experimental method by dividing two groups of participants, namely experimental and control. The samples involved in this study were 100 students from semester 5, divided into 2 groups with the composition of each group of 50 students. The experimental group received a drama-based teaching intervention and was assigned to perform live drama at the end of the semester, while the control group did not. The research results show that drama-based language teaching contributes significantly to students' presentation skills. The improvement in presentation skills is seen in the presentation aspect, namely organization, adaptability, and presentation content. It can be concluded that the intervention of language teaching through drama can improve students' oral language skills or presentation skills. This study implies that in supporting academic activities, students' speaking skills can use drama as an alternative, especially for students who take language studies programs.

Abstract

Guru perlu menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik di kelas, demi terciptanya aktivitas belajar yang menyenangkan. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis audio visual dan komik strip dengan metode guided discovery learning dalam pembelajaran menulis resensi siswa kelas XI SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R&D), dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu Analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. LKS diujicobakan kepada 32 siswa di SMA. LKS yang dihasilkan terbukti sangat valid dengan rata-rata nilai 90% dan kepraktisan LKS berdasarkan respon siswa dan guru terbukti 88,42% berkategori sangat praktis. Selain itu, LKS terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, berdasarkan hasil analisis N-Gain terhadap nilai pretest dan posttest siswa menghasilkan bahwa LKS terbukti efektif dengan memperoleh nilai N-Gain 0,715. Kata Kunci: R&D, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Guided Discovery Learning, Audio Visual, Komik Strip. Teachers need to create interesting learning in the classroom, for creating fun learning activities. One of them is by using learning media that is adapted to the characteristics of students. This study aims to develop Student Worksheets based on audio-visual and comic strips with guided discovery learning methods in learning to write reviews for class XI high school students. The type of research used is research and development (R&D), using the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The Student Worksheets was tested on 32 students in high school. The resulting of Student Worksheets proved to be very valid with an average value of 90% and the practicality of the Student Worksheets based on student and teacher responses proved to be 88.42% categorized as very practical. In addition, the Student Worksheets proved to be effective in improving student learning outcomes, based on the results of the N-Gain analysis of the students' pretest and posttest scores, which showed that the Student Worksheets proved effective by obtaining an N-Gain score of 0.715 Keywords: R&D, student worksheet, guided discovery learning, audio visual, comic strip

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Indonesian language proficiency of students at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School (SMK) Sukabumi through the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI). Previous studies have mainly focused only on reading proficiency at the senior high school level, whereas this research covers overall language competence, differences in performance across the domains of listening, grammatical response, and reading, the factors influencing test results, and their relevance to Indonesian language learning needs at the vocational level. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method, involving 46 students as participants. Data were collected through a manual UKBI using a paper-based test format. The results show that the majority of students fall into the Intermediate (Semenjana) category (60.87%) and Marginal category (17.39%), while only 6.52% achieved the Excellent (Unggul) level. Domain analysis revealed that listening skills were relatively stronger, while reading and grammatical response skills were lower. Factors influencing performance included learning motivation, literacy exposure, teaching methods, social background, and everyday language use. This study highlights the importance of implementing literacy-based learning and practical language use to improve the language competence of vocational students.
