Abstract

Mahasiswa yang masuk ke jurusan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang dari siswa yang berasal dari SMA dan SMK. Bagi mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMA menjadi kendala dalam mengikuti praktikum pada matakuliah Fabrikasi. Faktor wabah Covid 19 yang mengakibatkan pembelajaran Praktikum tidak bisa dilakukan luring sepenuhnya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka perlu dilakukan pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Fabrikasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil praktikum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat Evektivitas Video Pembelajaran Praktikum pada Mata Kuliah Fabrikasi di Jurusan Teknik Mesin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development. Model pengembangan modul pembelajaran ini menggunakan model IDI (Instruksional Development Institute). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Rata-rata hasil preetest yaitu 38,29 dan rata-rata hasil postest adalah 92,31. Dengan hasil tersebut video pembelajaran praktik pada Mata Kuliah Fabrikasi di Jurusan Teknik Mesin dapat di sumpulkan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine the philosophy of TVET in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 to increase the Diploma Three (D-III) study program to an Applied Bachelor (D4) in improving the quality of vocational education in Indonesia. The TVET learning strategy was developed taking into account the right targets, competency objectives and performance indicators, as well as a measurable transformation of the achievement of TVET's vision and mission of the XXI Century. The role of TVET is to prepare a generation that is ready to face the industrial world in the 4.0 revolution. TVET is designed as learning to increase real impact for students. In line with this, the Directorate General of Vocational Education program with the improvement of the Diploma Three Study Program (D-III) to an Applied Bachelor (D4) is very helpful in accelerating the vision and mission of TVET itself. The improvement of this vocational study program aims to create competent, skilled graduate human resources in accordance with the needs of the business world and the industrial world (DUDI). This program is also welcomed by the organizers of vocational education because vocational education is getting brighter and can compete in skilled human resources.

Abstract

Currently, the disclosure of data and information is something that must be accommodated in an agency, especially the Padang State University, one of which is the use of a website. The website has a very important role in conveying important information such as news, agendas, profiles, services and other academic services. Based on these needs, it is necessary to develop a website with an interactive design and have an easy interface system. In the old version of the website, it was created using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS), while the latest version was developed directly by UPT. PTIK Padang State University using the Codeigniter Framework and Bootstrap. The method in developing this website uses the Waterfall Model, this model is a model that is widely used for application development so it is very suitable to be applied to the development of the Padang State University website. The results of website development provide a significant change in visitor traffic every day with an average of 750 visitors per day.
