Abstract

This study aims to determine the student disciplines viewed from social support and parenting authoritarian discipline. The subject of the research was the second - year students of State Junior High School 1 Maospati – Madiun. The total number of the subject was 93 students. This research made use of questionnaires as the measuring instrument. While, the data were analyzed applying two - predictor regression analysis method and one way anava with SPSS program of version 18 The data analysis indicated the correlation coefficient R = 0.903; F regression = 0.197; p = 0.000 (p<0.05). The findings showed there was a significant relationship between social support and parenting authoritarian discipline toward student discipline at school. It also means that social support and parenting authoritarian discipline can be used as predictors of student discipline. Whereas, the difference of parental background had no effects on student discipline. It is proved by the F regression = 3.346; Sig = 0.071, which means that the parents with military (=87.31) and nonmilitary (=85.75) backgrounds had no difference toward student discipline.

Abstract

The research aims to learn the relationship betwen effects of disciplinary education of the air force Indonesian National Armed Force toward male students stress. The subject of thr research is male students of Semaba. Measurement tool that is used is the scale. The analysis of regression using SPSS 18 version program becomes the method of data analysis. According to the analysis, correlation p = 0,010 (p<0,05). It shows that there is effects of disciplinary educatian toward male studentr stress. From the analysis it can be concluded that the variable of disciplinary education can be used as the predictor to predict male students stress of Semaba.

Abstract

This study is intended to examine the  influence of peer group and permissive parenting pattern toward smoking behaviour. The subject of the research is  60 teenagers of Kincang Wetan village. The scale of smoking behavior was applied as a measuring tool. The data collecting employed random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using  two-predictor-regression analysis method with SPSS version 18.  The data analysis conveyed the correlation coefficient R = 0.983, F regression = 797.488; p = 0.000 (p <0.05). It proved that peer group and permissive parenting pattern influenced smoking behaviour. Consequently,  the variables peer group and permissive parenting pattern can be used as a predictor for  the smoking behavior of teenagers.

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  psychological  condition  of  the  prisoners  who  are  in  the process  of  leaving  the  prison.  The  subjects  of  this  study  were  eight participants.  Data collection methods in this study were observation, interviews and several psychological tests. Data analysis in this study employed descriptive analysis in which the research was intended to provide a complete picture of the social setting of how individuals were prepared to interact with  the  community.  The  results  of  this  study  show  that  the  psychological  conditions  of  the prisoners  who  are  in  the  process  of  leaving  the  prison  are  quite  ready  to  return  to  the community,  although  there  are  still  many  things  that  require  improvement  in  order  to  be better prepared when returning to society.
