Abstract

Divorce is a condition where parents are not in harmony, often fight and cause commotion, which results in a lack of love and care for children, so that children will no longer have someone to protect or serve as role models for them. This research will focus on on the process and results of the spiritual moral development of students who are victims of parental divorce through a humanist counseling approach. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods, the data sources in this study use observations, interviews, and documentation studies. While the key instrument is the research itself. The data were analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. This study contains the results (1) Behavioral patterns of students who are victims of Broken Home at SMK 2 PGRI Kediri, these students tend to have unfavorable traits such as: truancy, smoking, being late. (2) The Process of Spiritual Moral Development for Broken Home Students Through a Humanist Counseling Guidance Approach at SMK 2 PGRI Kediri by participating in religious activities such as: dhuha prayer, istigosah (3) The results of broken home students after spiritual moral coaching through a humanist counseling guidance approach, students become more good and aware. Abstract

Morals are behavior that has become the habit of every individual which is seen in daily actions. Religious education in Islamic schools still maintains yellow learning to instill moral values ??based on spirituality for students. One of them is the book of ta'lim muta'allim as a support for the formation of students' morality. This study aims to find out how the learning and results of the ta;lim muta’allim book in shaping the akhlaqul karimah of students at the Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Hasan Muchyi Kapurejo Pagu Kediri. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. The data collection method uses observation and documentation methods. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, to check the validity of the data, researchers used the triangulation method of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that the learning process of the muta'allim book of ta'lim, which includes the teacher selection system, learning methods, learning media used, student responses, teacher constraints and evaluation of learning and the results of learning the muta'allim book of ta'lim in forming akhlaqul karimah in the form of attitude of responsibility, tawadhu, discipline and ta'dzim along with the supporting factors.

Abstract

Introduction: Patient and nurse is constructive relationship beneficial in a self-management support approach. Research shows e-health intervention has the potential to support self-management for adults with type 2 diabetes. The purpose this article to apply the application of e-health to people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Method: Method is search journal articles through basic data in ProQuest, Clinical key, EBSCO with a time span of 2018-2022, using the keywords "e-health intervention" and "diabetes mellitus type 2". The number of related articles is 10 journals. Results: Results the literature review conducted showed that e-health has an effective and efficient impact on self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, nurses can find time to find out the progress of people with diabetes mellitus, reduce the incidence of diabetes and complications. Conclusion: Conclusion the use of e-health in self-management of people with diabetes mellitus has provided positive benefits for the development and improvement of service quality for the community. Health is a new medium in health services that requires broader knowledge and more in-depth practice, so the use of digital media in management needs to conduct further research  in the focus of research on health.   Keywords: e-health, self-management, diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Introduction: Advancement technology and information benefit societies by way telehealth access, including those with diabetes mellitus. Telehealth implementation in diabetes mellitus management is a great solution of increasing access to healthcare and reducing geographical inequalities. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of service among people living with diabetes remains inconsistant. This review aims to summarize and evaluate the evidence on the effectiveness of telehealth on quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus Method: This review considers the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) guideline. The results reported in descriptive narrative approach. The following databases; Scopus, Science Direct, PubMed, and Web of Science were comprehensively searched to find article from January, 1st 2018 to December 31st 2023. Inclusion was made to English and full-text article. Results: Two articles were included in the final review. A total of 482 type 2 DM patients were used telehealth. Findings on the impacts of the usability of telehealth on the QoL of Type 2 DM is telehealth relevant alternative to the care of DFU patients, with stable health, well-being and quality of life conditions and smartphone application-based interventions in the management of type 2 DM show that the quality of life in the following four dominants; psychological, social, environmental, and physical health revealed significant improvements Conclusions: Telehealth has good potential to be developed in the service of diabetes mellitus patients. The following internet-based delivered mode; web, and smartphones improve the quality of life and the well-being of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. However, lack of studies measuring the effectivity of telehealth among people with diabetes mellitus. Future development of internet-based interventions should further take into consideration the consolidated set of diabetes mellitus principles. Abstract

Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem worldwide, including in Indonesia. Adherence to the therapeutic regimen is one of the indicators in TB management. However, dropout rates among those undergoing TB therapeutic regimens were found to be high. This study aims to review published articles on the usefulness of mobile health apps for adherence to TB treatment regimens and among healthcare workers. Method: This systematic review applied the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) guideline. The results were reported using a descriptive-narrative approach. The following databases: Scopus, Pubmed, and Proquest were comprehensively searched to find articles from January 1st, 2018 to June1st, 2022. Inclusion was made for English and full-text articles. Results: Fourteen (14) articles were yielded. A total of 2.408 TB sufferers and health workers use the mobile health application. Findings on the impacts of the usability of mobile health applications on the adherence of TB’s treatment regimen: TB sufferers mostly use mobile health to access information about TB via Short Message Service (SMS), WhatsApp Messenger, voice or telephone calls, video-observed therapy (VOT), or a toll-free mobile health modification, namely 99DOTS. Conclusions: Mobile health applications tend to benefit people living with TB. The findings of the study emphasize the importance of mobile health applications for TB management. Mobile health apps increase patients motivation to adhere to the recommended regimen, which is one of the key TB management strategies.

Abstract

Lupus is not widely known in the community. The number of people affected by lupus is higher than those affected by AIDS. However, the high number of lupus patients is related to the public's knowledge about lupus. The implementation of this community service activity aims to educate patient families about early prevention of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The method used in this community service activity is providing health education. This activity was conducted in March 2023 and was attended by 20 families of SLE patients in Az-Zahra 1 room at Jemursari Hospital, Surabaya. The research results show that the activity has achieved success according to the predetermined success indicators, which include enthusiastic participation of the attendees and a significant increase in knowledge among the patient families after the education. In conclusion, this community service activity can be conducted in the vicinity of the hospital to increase awareness and knowledge regarding SLE.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients undergoing continuous hemodialysis (HD) experience decreased daily physical activity, lower tolerance to exercise and poorer health-related quality of life. Thus, HD patients need interventions that focus on their physical and psychological characteristics to improve their quality of life. This study aims to discuss the effectiveness of intradialytic exercise, cognitive behavior therapy and deep breath relaxation in improving the quality of life of hemodialysis patients. The study used a systematic literature review design to identify articles on intradialytic exercise, cognitive behavior therapy and deep breath relaxation from 2019-2023 was obtained from PubMed, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. Seven studies found that intradialytic exercise enhances CKD patients' quality of life during hemodialysis. Four studies noted cognitive behavioral therapy's positive impact on physiological aspects, enhancing patients’ well-being. Additionally, six studies observed deep breath relaxation's beneficial effects on physiological parameters, ultimately enhancing patients' quality of life during hemodialysis. Intradialytic exercise, cognitive behavior therapy and deep breath relaxation are effective in improving the quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Furthermore, these three interventions helped accelerate the medical approach to chronic kidney disease.

Abstract

Introduction: The increasing overuse of smartphones among children is a troubling addiction that affects both their physical well-being and mental health. It can lead to mood swings, withdrawal symptoms, emotional discomfort, and increased anxiety in social situations. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between smartphone addiction and anxiety levels among students at Pawyatan Daha Elementary School in Kediri, East Java. Methods: This study utilized a cross-sectional design with a simple random sampling method involving 154 students from Pawyatan Daha Elementary School in Kediri, East Java. Data collection occurred from November to December 2022. The independent variable in this research was smartphone addiction, assessed using the Smartphone Addiction Risk Children Questionnaire (SARCQ). In contrast, the dependent variable was anxiety, measured by the Revised Child Anxiety and Depression Scale (RCADS). Data analysis was conducted using Spearman's rho test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Result: The findings indicated that a majority of respondents (77.3%) fell into the high category of smartphone addiction, while 52.6% were identified as experiencing general anxiety disorders. Statistical analysis revealed a significant correlation, with a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.005) and an R-value of 0.330. Conclusions: The study concludes that there is a correlation between smartphone addiction and anxiety among school-aged children. Parents must supervise their children's smartphone usage to foster character development and prevent addictive behaviors. Additionally, nurses can play a crucial role as counselors by providing regular counseling services in elementary schools to mitigate smartphone addiction.

Abstract

Perawatan penyakit hipertensi salah satunya yaitu kepatuhan penderita dalam menjalani diet, pengetahuan yang kurang mengenai diet hipertensi membuat komplikasi akibat penyakit hipertensi tidak dapat ditekan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang manajemen diet penderita hipertensi di Dusun Ploso Kuning dengan metode brainstorming. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam jangka waktu 3 bulan (April-Juni 2022), dalam pelaksanannya dimulai dari menyebarkan pretest kemudian melakukan tahapan pendidikan brainstorming lalu di akhir sesi tim menayangkan sebuah video edukasi yang berbasis animasi yang bertujuan sebagai benang merah dari metode brainstorming yang dilakukan, kemudian video edukasi diunggah di channel youtube desa sebagai platform edukasi jangka panjang karena penderita hipertensi lain yang tidak ikut dalam proses pendidikan kesehatan dapat mengakses informasi terkait diet hipertensi melalui video tersebut sehingga kebermanfaatan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat secara luas, setelah itu tim melakukan pemnyebaran posttest. Hasil perbandingan pretest dan posttest menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dari rata-rata pengetahuan masyarakat 57.33 menjadi 84.67. Tenaga kesehatan dapat menerapkan metode brainstorming dalam memberikan penyuluhan kepada penderita hipertensi agar kepatuhan penderita tentang diet meningkat dan komplikasi akibat hipertensi dapat dicegah.

Abstract

Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) need to digitize mental health services to address disparities and improve access to healthcare. This study systematically reviewed the digitalization of integration mental health services that can reach interactions between service providers and recipients with media such as telemental health and mobile health. A literature search was conducted in March 2023. Randomized controlled trial (RCT) data were used from available studies. RCT data sources were obtained from internationally reputable journal articles with the theme of telehealth. The literature used was obtained from the databases Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed. Integration digitalized mental healthcare system under the auspices of the Ministry of Health that reach-nationally, official psychiatrists and other professional mental healthcare that provides mental healthcare support to areas lacking specialists consisting crisis and emergency, stable conditions, as well as the process of counseling and follow-up therapy with telemental health and mobile health media. Telemental health plays a major role in mental health services and modality therapy that can be accessed effectively and efficiently, especially for mental patients in remote areas who experience barriers to attending in person.
