Abstract

The research on effect of traditional drying process againt proximate composition of the payangkah fish nike has been done. A number of payangkah fish nike samples has been taken from the Tondano lake, divided into two parts, i,e, fresh samples and other parts were traditionally dried at temperature range of 37°C for 24 hours. The proximate composition of wet and dried samples respectively specified was water content of 83.157%, protein 13.128%, lipid 1.48%, ash 2.033%, crude fiber 0.65% and carbohydrate 0.2%. While for dry samples the water content of 9.59%, protein 67.434%, ash 5.065% and crude fiber 0.64%. The results shows that traditional drying process has positive influence against some parameters on proximate composition of the payangkah fish nike.

Abstract

Of research on application of Case Based Learning Model on Material of Buffer Solution to Student Result of Class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Kawangkoan. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of student learning resultusing conventional case-based learning model on buffer material. The research method used is experimental research method with the research design used is Posttest Only Control Group Design. Data collection technique is posttest. The research population is all students of SMA Negeri 1 Kawangkoan, while the samples taken are two randomly selected classes, that is class XI IPA 4 as experiment class with 25 students and class XI IPA 5 as control class with 25 students. Based on the results of research analyzed by t-test at the real level (α) = 0.05 obtained data that tcount = 2.494 and ttable = 1.677 according to the study criteria, if tcount> ttable then reject H0, so it can be concluded that there are differences in results student learning is taught by case-based learning model with student learning outcomes using conventionallearning method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of students' critical thinking skills in the chemical reaction in solution topic by using the STEM approach. This research was conducted in the department of chemistry, FMIPA UNIMA in the 2019/2020 academic year. The descriptive qualitative was using for this research with 29 students from first semester of chemical education department as research samples. Data Collection was carried out by 10 posttest essay that include student critical thinking ability. The result of the test show the ability to answer the critical thinking skills are 17,2% for very critical thinking, 44,83% for critical enough ; and 37% for less critical.

Abstract

Ants nest (Myrmecodia pendans.) is an epiphytic plant from Papua which is used as herbal medicine. The reseacrh to isolate and identification the ethyl acetate fraction of phenyl penatnoate compounds from ant nests(myrmecodia pendans.). The isolaton process was carried out using the maceration technique, fro the purifcation and separation of compounds the thin layer chromatographic and gravity column chromathographic were used F1 isolated were obtained weighing up to 180 mg in liquid. Identification using spectroscopy Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Proton (1H-NMR) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Carbon (13-NMR). The result of identification of isolated F1 indicated the posibillity of a phenyl derivative compound with the proposed name 6-hydroxy-5,5-dimethyl-phenyl-pentanoate.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the Mineral Content of “nike” Payangkah fish (O. aporos ) from Lake Tondano in North Sulawesi. The research objective was to determine the levels of Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese and Phosphorus. "nike" Payangkah fish (O. aporos) is taken directly from Lake Tondano fish farmers in Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. Sample preparation techniques include receiving, washing, selecting other than “nike” Payang fish and associated materials (excrement). All parts of the fish body are used as samples. Determination of Ca, Mn and Mg using (AAS) while P using (UV-VIS). The results show that the average P content (259.6 mg/100g); Ca (380.3 mg/100g); Mn (0.275 mg/100g) and Mg (21.49 mg/100g). When compared with the average mineral content for fish released by (FAO), these results indicate that "nike" Payangka fish (O. aporos) has good mineral content and can be used to increase mineral intake and protect against mineral deficiency diseases

Abstract

Participatory Action Research the development of a learning implementation plan characterized by pedagogical content knowledge is research involving chemistry teachers who directly experience the real conditions of learning. The resulting lesson plan is relevant to use in the same environment as the learning nature setting, for example online, offline, and blended. Device development is carried out through a cycle through at least four main steps; (1) RPP device development; (2) field tests; (3) evaluation; and (4) reflection. Input factors (input) in the development are: (1) the experience of teachers; (2) knowledge of the learning process; (3) theory and reflection methods; (4) scientific in educators; and (5) intuition and creativity of teachers. While the products produced are (1) 21st-century PCK lesson plans; (2) knowledge of 21st-century chemistry teaching; (3) Process Quality Improvement; (4) trained teachers; and (5) new concepts and teaching materials.

Abstract

Pelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang menggunakan proyek atau kegiatan sebagai alat pembelajaran untuk memperoleh sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan project learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem koloid. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Motoling Timur pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, homogenitas, hipotesis. Hasil penelitian uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa Lo kelas eksperimen 0.14 dan kelas kontrol 0.15 dengan Ltabel 0.180 sehingga Lo<Ltabel, uji homogenitas yaitu fhitung lebih kecil dari ftabel yaitu 1.01<2.03 pada taraf α=0,05, menunjukkan kedua kelas sampel memiliki varians yang homogen. Uji hipotesis didapat harga thitung=3.44 sedangkan ttabel=2.01 pada taraf nyata α=0,05, menunjukkan bahwa thitung (3.44)>ttabel (2.01). Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diatas maka hipotesis H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Pembelajaran Project based learning efektif untuk mempengaruhi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to characterize charcoal resulting from pyrolysis of human hair waste which is activated by KOH solutions using FTIR, XRD and SEM instruments. The human hair charcoal obtained from pyrolysis then goes into the particle size reduction process using a 60 and 100 mesh sieve. It is then activated using KOH and then the results of the activation are analyzed using FTIR, XRD instruments assisted by software. Origin and Ms. Excel, then SEM assisted by Image-J software . The ash content test results show that the amount of minerals and metals in human hair charcoal tends to increase. The results of the water content test show that the amount of water content in human hair charcoal tends to decrease. In analysis using FTIR it was identified showed the presence of various functional groups in human hair charcoal processed with KOH and Control Sample solutions. Mesh differences in processing give slight variations in peak intensity and position, but overall indicate the presence of O-H, CH, C=C, and CO groups . In the analysis using​ The solution gave the largest grain size in KOH mess 100, namely D = 356.35764 ± 11.18168 nm.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to improve student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material through the application of the project based learning model. There are several things that underlie this research, namely the low interest in student learning in chemistry subjects which then makes student learning outcomes unsatisfactory. The research carried out is classroom action research (PTK) which takes place in two cycles, in cycle I it is held three meetings and in cycle II it is held two meetings. Each cycle in this research consists of a planning stage. implementation, observation and reflexology Data collection techniques were carried out using observation sheets and written tests. Based on the research results, it was found that the project based learning model could improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage of student learning outcomes which increased from 60% in cycle I which then increased to 96% in cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the application of the Discovery Learning model in the acid and base material of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tareran in the 2023/2024 school year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Tareran, totaling 12 students. This research includes 4 stages (1) planning stage, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Data collection methods used in this study were observation method, and post-test. The results showed that with the Discovery Learning learning model there was an increase in student learning outcomes, namely from cycle I 73.91%. In cycle II with improved actions in the form of learning activities by dividing students into groups, students conduct discussions according to the learning material, namely acids and bases, students work together, students collect discussion results and make conclusions with guidance from the beginning to the end of learning activities, there was an increase from 73.91% to 85.5%.
