Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors which influence risk management performance. Variables which are used, supplier orientation, supplier dependency, customer orientation, and systemic purchasing toward the risk management performance in retail book and stationary at Surabaya. This research uses quantitative approach by using multiple linear regression. The sample of the study is the retail book and stationary at Surabaya. The total sample is 91. Research finding indicates that supplier orientation and supplier dependency give significantly positive effect to risk management performance. While customer orientation and systemic purchasing aren’t significant yet they give positive effect to risk management performance.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the method of controlling the supply ofmedicines at the RS.X Pgarmacy Installation in Martapura, because it is less precise inestimating the demand resulting in the purchase of excess stock. Therefore, this studyaims to know and analyze the control of drug preparations on RS.X Pharmacy Installation by applying the Economic Order Quantity method and determining thecorrect forecasting.Implementation of this inventory control using EOQ method, calculation ofOrder Frequency, Booking Interval, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, and MaximumInventory. Service Stock used is 99%. Inventory costs can be determined by calculatingthe relevant costs, such as: purchase costs, ordering costs, and storage costs.After processed and then analyzed the comparison of inventory cost calculationresults between using EOQ methodwith business entity policy. The result 8% savingsusing EOQ method.

Abstract

This report aims to describe a quality control by using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method to identify and prevent errors that arise in the process of delivery of goods in PT. Asia Mandiri Lines. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) is used as a guide for quality control in the company. Activities that are often done during field work practice is making a receipt letter for customers who want to send goods through PT. Asia Mandiri Lines. During the practical work in the administrative section, especially the handling of the mail and receipt of goods, found some problems that cause complaints from customers. It shows that the quality of freight service in PT. Asia Mandiri Lines should be fixed. Therefore, based on the results of the discussion of Field Work Report, I use FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method to help PT. Asia Mandiri Lines in reducing e rors, providing solutions for errors that occur, and improve the quality of the company in the process of delivery of goods.

Abstract

This study aims to minimize customer complaints resulting from queue length and length of waiting time, reduce customers from queuing, analyze server (server) needs, and know what efforts can be used to reduce the length of the queue. So that the length of the queue can be minimized and can provide better service and performance.This research used M / M / 1 and M / M / 2 model to apply queuing theory method and assisted with SPSS 16.0 software as a basis to know the distribution to be used, then using POM Windows 3 software as base to analyze queue length, queue length in the system, time of service, and time of service within the existing system within the Adi Jaya store.The study found that of the three types of services and purchases owned by the Adijaya store. This store requires additional servers for the types of document printing services, Photo Print, and Photo Close Up. In addition to adding this server Adi Jaya store can make additional facilities to wait.

Abstract

Based on the observation, it can be seen that the problem being faced by CV. Delima is the number of defective products that were produced during the production process of marie wijen Sriti in August 2017 has 13.53% of defective products, while the company has a defective tolerance limit of 10%. And the absence of clear working standards that cause the range of disability too far. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the use of PDCA quality control with the seven tools can minimize the production defects in the CV. Delima.Quality control analysis uses PDCA with seventools, capability process, and FMEA. The tools will be used to find the production process error and also fix it so that the defect can decrease at CV. Delima. The results of capability process analysis show that the production process run by CV. Delima is not good and also the control chart shows that the company's production activities are out of control. Can be seen on the control chart there are several points that exceeds the upper and lower limits. From the analysis of cause-effect diagrams, it can be seen that the factors causing defects in products come from human factors, materials, methods, and machinery so that companies can take corrective action to overcome these problems. The results showed that the problem of production process in CV. Delima can be repaired and can minimize the production defects by using PDCA approach with seven tools tool. In addition, the percentage of marie wijen Sriti's production defects percentage decreased by 6.47%.

Abstract

University Surabaya is one of the major universities located in Surabaya. In everyday activities, the University always strives t manage and manage the availability of books in the library, both for students and lecturers. In order for library management to run well, Ubaya applies the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). So the purpose of this study is to describe the 5S method applied to the 2 units in the Ubaya library that is the administration and procurement department. This research is a pure descriptive type because in this research there is no implementation or design on Ubaya. The variables used in this research are 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). Source of data used to collect data on this skrispsi through observation and interview to the library. Analysis performed on the administration and procurement based on the application of Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke. The results of the research show that the administration and procurement of the application of the 5S method has not gone well. Because it is still found in 5S activities that are not as it should be.

Abstract

Based on the problems that exist in the company, the purpose of this study was to determine how to control the quality of birdnest at CV LVS Probolinggo using the New Seven Tools to minimize defects that occur. New Seven Tools method begins by identifying the root causes of the company and then assign efforts to find a solution that could be done by the company. In this study, the tools used were affinity diagram,relation diagram, tree diagram, matrix diagram, priority matrix, arrow diagram danprocess decision program chart (PDPC).

Abstract

The design of this dosage management information system has the purpose to support PT. Oasindo Raya in making the decision on the process of buying and selling to be more effective and efficient, The drafting is necessary because PT. Oasindo Raya still uses the conventional way of managing its business especially in the recording process so that it becomes less effective and efficient regarding the process of buying and selling its products. A stock management information system is needed to develop the company better in its operational processes. With the design is expected to produce the information needed for decision making quickly and appropriately in order to develop the business of PT. Oasindo Raya in the future. This design applies System Development Life Cycle with 8 stages and uses the addition of Electronic Data Proccessing (EDP) that is with Software Inventory that requires hardware, software, users and database used to run well as expected. The draft regulates the recording of the process of purchasing, selling, inventory stock at the beginning and ending and all the processes related to the stock of both out and coming in PT. Oasindo Raya. The design of this management information system shows that the addition of EDP can improve the operational process of PT. Oasindo Raya is more effective and efficient because all the necessary information can be known quickly and accurately.

Abstract

PT.X is A a construction company. The warehouse is 1500 m2 large. In the initial condition, the warehouse item has not been organized, the laying of products are still mixed and products have not been grouped. This causes the workers having difficulties to identifying the product and to pickup the products. There is damaged on packaging and product which need to be repair cause by imprecise material handling. Based on this problem, relayouting and choosing the right material handling needs to be done. In the new layout design has been determined the partition of storage areas as well as additional areas. There is an increase in warehouse capacity by 120 pallets from the previous 1129 pallets to 1249 pallets. Installation of label systems can be a solution in answering the issue of tracking goods. The use of unit load such as pallets and wooden crates is a solution to the efficient loading and unloading process and reduces manual handling that may be hazardous to workers.

Abstract

This study aims to help a small business entity become more productive and efficient. The business entity has a shortage in overcoming the availability of raw materials and time to purchase raw materials. This research uses quantitative approach using Material Requirements Planning method. Data collection is done by using primary data. Primary data in question is by direct observation and interview with the owner and see the place of production. Then the data is processed through data processing that led to various findings of the lack of business entities related to raw material inventory for production. The results of the MRP design that have been made indicate that the improvement of the business entity. Business entities become more efficient, cost-effective and productivity increases.
