Abstract

Perkembangan pembangunan infrastuktur di Indonesia yang semakin meningkat menjadikan bahan material yang diperlukan juga meningkat. Dari sekian banyaknya bahan material yang ada di Indonesia salah satunya adalah batako. Dari situlah beberapa penelitian terdahulu membuat inovasi untuk menggati bahan campuran dari bahan material tersebut dengan bahan limbah yang menumpuk sebagai bahan alternatif. Penulis membuat literature review artikel ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan tambahan untuk bahan campuran batako dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu. Pencarian database yang digunakan termasuk google schoolar ataupun website lain. Dengan mendapatkan 19 artikel dan yang digunakan 6 artikel yang sesuai melalui analisis dengan tujuan, metode, hasil dari setiap penelitian tersebut hinggal tahun terbit artikel tersebut karena artikel dibatasi dari tahun 2010-sekarang. Hasil dari literatur review ini yaitu penulis mengetahui  pengaruh dari hasil inovasi penelitian terdahulu apakah  sesuai dengan syarat SNI 03-0349-1989 batako mulai dari tingkat mutu, syarat fisis (kuat tekan) dan kadar air

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of relevance between the Construction Management and Budget Plan curriculum in the Construction Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UNJ, and the work competencies of Construction Quantity Surveyors. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis results show that the relevance level between the Construction Management Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Quantity Surveyor competencies is 51.5%, while between the Budget Plan CLOs and Quantity Surveyor competencies it is 72.7%. Among the Construction Management CLO indicators, the concept of Earned Value (calculating BCWP, BCWS, ACWP, CV, SV, PI) is the most relevant indicator to Quantity Surveyor competencies. Among the Budget Plan CLO indicators, 'Students calculate the BOQ and Recap for a simple house construction project' is the most relevant indicator to Quantity Surveyor competencies. Based on these results, the Construction Management and Budget Plan curriculum of the Construction Engineering Education Study Program at Jakarta State University is Moderately Relevant (MR) to the work competencies of Construction Quantity Surveyors.

Abstract

The increasing use of paving blocks in parking areas and public facilities has increased the demand for durable and environmentally sustainable construction materials. Conventional paving block production, however, remains dependent on natural sand and cement. This study investigated the use of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic as a 5% partial replacement for fine aggregate and glass powder (GP) as a partial cement replacement at levels of 10%, 15%, and 20%. A laboratory experimental method was employed using paving blocks measuring 21 cm × 10.5 cm × 6 cm with a cement-to-sand ratio of 1:3 and a water-cement ratio of 0.4. A total of 140 specimens were tested at 28 days for appearance and dimensions, compressive strength, water absorption, and abrasion resistance. The results showed that increasing GP content generally reduced compressive strength, particularly when combined with HDPE. The control mixture achieved the overall requirements for Quality B, whereas none of the HDPE-GP combinations satisfied all Quality B criteria simultaneously. The 5% HDPE + 10% GP mixture provided the most balanced performance, with a compressive strength of 20.03 MPa, while higher GP contents improved water absorption and abrasion resistance but reduced compressive strength. The findings indicate that HDPE and GP can be incorporated into paving blocks to support waste utilization and reduce dependence on conventional materials, although further optimization is required before large-scale application.
