Pangan halal merupakan produk makanan maupun minuman memenuhi syariat islam berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan dan pengujian. Mengkonsumsi pangan halal merupakan menjadi suatu kewajiban umat muslim. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah memberikan informasi dan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat khususnya pemilik warung makan tentang pentingnya menghasilkan produk yang halal dan mengetahui kriteria sistem jaminan halal. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan melalui ceramah dan diskusi dengan jumlah peserta 9 warung makan. Secara umum kegiatan sosialisasi ini berlangsung baik dan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap kriteria system jaminan halal. Kendala yang dihadapi saat pelaksanaan sosialisasi adalah waktu sosialisasi yang tidak tepat dan peralatan presentasi yang belum memadai.

The learning process is carried out to achieve educational goals, one of which can support the achievement of educational goals is the learning model used during the learning and teaching process, many learning models are often used by teachers in the learning process and teaching, one of which is the jigsaw type learning model and the windows shopping learning model. . Indonesia is included in the lowest ranking in the category of scientific literacy and scientific ability based on the Trends In International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) scores in 2018, so a learning model is needed that is in accordance with the science material given at the time of learning. . The purpose of this study is to look at the application of the jigsaw and windows shopping combination learning model on learning completeness and improving student learning outcomes, the method used is quassy experiment with purposive sampling and data analysis using the N-gain test. The results showed that the jigsaw combination windows shopping (JCWS) learning model on basic science concepts could increase learning outcomes by 0.79 which was included in the high category compared to the control class by 0.69. The application of the JCWS learning model can increase the number of students' learning mastery. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the JCWS learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the basic concepts of science.

Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) is one of prostate diseases with highest prevalence rates men in the world. Benign Prostate Hyperplasia are caused by many factors, such as disorders of androgen receptors, mutations genes, age, epigenetics and environment. Detection BPH in the form of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), Transurethral Resection Of Prostate (TURP) and Digital Rectal Examination (DRE) which is invasive in the patient. MicroRNAs in urine eksosomes can be used to detect BPH with non-invasive to patients. This study aims to determine the potential expression of Hsa-miR-22-3p in eksosomal urine samples of BPH as a non-invasive biomarker. This was an observational cross sectional analytic study. Urine samples were obtained from dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta and dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro hospital. Furthermore, eksosomes isolation, RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis and quantification with qRT-PCR. Based on the results, it is known that Hsa-miR-22-3p decreased expression as much as 29.54 times in BPH, there were significant differences between samples of BPH and normal samples (P = 0.001). Thus Hsa-miR-22-3p has potential as a biomarker in Benign Prostate Hyperplasia.

Warung makan banyak terdapat di wilayah sekitar kampus IAIN Surakarta. Salah satu hal yang perlu ditingkatkan oleh suatu warung makan adalah penerapan hygiene sanitasi, sehingga potensi terjadinya keracunan makanan dapat dihindari. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mensosialisasikan hygiene sanitasi kepada beberapa pedagang warung makan yang berada disekitar kampus IAIN Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi langsung secara door to door pada delapan pedagang warung makan, yaitu Bakso Mas Agung, Warung makan Aywa, Mie Ayam Pak Min, Warung Makan Bu Dul, Seblak Bloom Outlet Maya, Waroeng Es Buah Pelajar, Ayam Geprek Mbok Ben dan Mie Ayam Bakso Sido Mampir. Ada dua hal yang diinformasikan ke pedagang warung makan, yaitu persyaratan hygiene sanitasi dan tatacara mendapatkan sertifikat laik hygiene sanitasi. Secara umum sosialisasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap persyaratan hygiene sanitasi dan tatacara memperoleh sertifikat laik hygiene sanitasi. Acara sosialisasi ini berlangsung cukup baik. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil evaluasi kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner.

The halal certification is important to ensure the public and business owners regarding halal products. However, the implementation of the halal certification program has faced some problems, such as the lack of facilitation for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the high cost of halal certification. This activity is to socialize the importance of halal certification and provide assistance regarding the procedures and documents required in obtaining the halal certification. This activity targets the MSMEs actors who have their businesses around the IAIN Surakarta College and was carried out by socializing halal certification to the participants. During the preparation phase, we examine the participants’ understanding of halal product assurance and looked for information about the procedures of obtaining halal certification from LPPOM MUI and BPJPH. Th socialization activity was carried out in one day at Gedung Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa IAIN Surakarta. The certification guidelines socialization was attended by MSMEs owners around the IAIN Surakarta College. Based on the pretest and posttest results and the enthusiasm of the participants during the question-answer session, we could conclude that the activity has met our goals. This activity will benefit the MSMEs owners around IAIN Surakarta College in developing halalan toyyiban products’ assurance.

Kondisi pandemi COVID memposisikan guru dan orangtua untuk mulai selektif memilih pangan sehat unutk anak didik guna menjaga imunitas. Tujuan PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan guru sekolah MI di kecamatan Kartasura tentang pemilihan makanan sehat di masa pandemi Covid-19. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru-guru MI di Kecamatan Kartasura. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan pelatihan. Evaluasi hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwa pelatihan telah meningkatkan ketrampilan memilih dan menyajikan pangan sehat dan bergizi di masa pandemi COVID-19.

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran merupakan representasi maupun rencana yang digunakan dalam proses belajar dan mengajar oleh guru maupun siswa untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan menggunakan pola/ prosedur yang sistematis. Berdasarkan skor Trends In International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) dan Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) tahun 2018 I ndonesia menempati peringkat dalam kategori rendah dalam hal literasi sains dan kemampuan sains sehingga dibutuhkan terobosan yang baru dalam pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang interaktif agar membuat suasana belajar menjadi menyenangkan, salah satunya model pembelajaran tipe windows shopping. Tujuan penelitian melihat pengaruh penerapan model windows shopping terhadap ketuntasan belajar dan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik, metode yang digunakan quassy experiment dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran windows shopping pada materi konsep dasar IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sebesar 0,78 yang termasuk kategori tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Selain itu penerapan model pembelajaran windows shopping juga dapat meningkatkan angka ketuntasan belajar pada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan model pembelajaran windows shopping dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi konsep dasar IPA. Based on the scores of Trends In International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018, Indonesia is ranked in the low category in terms of scientific literacy and scientific abilities so that new breakthroughs are needed in learning, so a learning model is needed. which is interactive in order to make the learning atmosphere fun, one of which is the windows shopping type of learning model. The research objective was to see the effect of the application of the windows shopping model on learning completeness and the improvement of student learning outcomes. The method used was a quassy experiment with purposive sampling and data analysis using the N-gain test. The results showed that the windows shopping learning model on the basic concepts of science can improve learning outcomes by 0.78 which is in the high category compared to the control class. In addition, the application of the windows shopping learning model can also increase the learning completeness rate of students. Based on the research results, it was found that the windows shopping learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the basic concepts of science material. Indonesia termasuk kedalam negara dengan peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan literasi, sains serta matematika rendah berdasarkan skor Trends In International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) dan Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) tahun 2018, hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor seperti faktor internal maupun eksternal. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi adalah pembelajaran yang terpusat pada pendidik dan metode penyampaian materi yang monoton, sehingga diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang interaktif, salah satunya model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw. Tujuan penelitian melihat pengaruh penerapan model jigsaw terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan quassy experiment dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan uji N-gain di kelas 4D dan 4C mahasiswa PGMI IAIN Surakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model jigsaw pada pembelajaran konsep dasar IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sebesar 0,72% yang termasuk kategori tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Selain itu penerapan model pembelajaran jigsaw juga dapat meningkatkan angka ketuntasan belajar pada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model pembelajaran jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi konsep dasar IPA.

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan penduduk mayoritas muslim, sehingga pentingnya sertifikasi halal dilakukan oleh pedagang makanan untuk menjamin kehalalan produk yang diperjual belikan, karena pangan halal merupakan menjadi suatu kewajiban umat muslim. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah memberikan informasi kepada pedagang makanan pentingnya sertifikasi halal dan alur pembuatan sertifikasi halal. Metode kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan melalui ceramah dan diskusi dengan jumlah peserta 10 pedagang makanan. Berdasarkan kegiatan didapatkan hasil secara umum kegiatan sosialisasi ini berlangsung baik dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta pemahaman pedagang terhadap alur sertifikasi halal di Indonesia. Kendala yang dihadapi saat pelaksanaan sosialisasi adalah keterbatasan waktu untuk sosialisasi. Kegiatan diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada pedagang sekitar kampus akan pentingnya sertifikasi halal pada produk makanan yang dijual belikan. Socialization of halal certification flows in Indonesia to Pucangan Kartasura food traders Abstract: Given that the majority of the population in Indonesia is Muslim and that eating halal food is a requirement for Muslims, food sellers in Indonesia must ensure that the products they are trading are in fact halal. This socializing activity's goal is to enlighten food sellers about the value of halal certification and the process involved in obtaining it. Ten food vendors participate in this socialization activity approach through lectures and debates. Based on the events, it was determined that the socializing activities generally went well and improved the traders' knowledge and comprehension of the flow of halal certification in Indonesia. The time constraints on socialization became a problem when it came to implementation. The purpose of the activity is to educate traders about the value of halal certification for food goods that are traded around campus.
