Abstract

The current becomes a factor influencing the hardness value In the welding. The higher the welding current would affect the higher the hardness test results. If the current were used is low it will make it difficult to ignite the electric arc. Aims of this study to determine the effect of welding current (90, 110 and 130 A) and buffer layer on hardness, macro and microstructure layers are result from hardfacing using AWS A5.13 EFe2/AWS A.51 E7018 elektrodes. The hardfacing process uses a Shielded Arc Metal Welding (SMAW) welding machine with DC+ polarity. Hardfacing consists of three layers, 1st layer uses AWS A5.13 EFe2 electrode, 2nd layer uses AWS A.51 E7018 electrode, and 3rd layer uses AWS A5.13 EFe2 electrode. The increase in hardness will occur significantly after hardfacing on the base metal. The higher welding current is resulting the higher hardness value. The hardness of the 130 A specimen is higher than 90 A and 110 A specimen. In the 130 A specimen the hardness value was 468.1 VHN, and in the 90 A specimen the hardness value was 358.94 VHN.

Abstract

Abstract Scouting is a youth community that is active in various social fields. Where scouting activities exist in each task force, from branches, groups to the national level, they have activities that always have a positive impact on members. Based on the large number of members from this community, fire fighting training for Scouts at SMAN I Muara Gembong Bekasi is one approach to increase public awareness. This training aims to provide knowledge about how to deal with fire hazards and procedures for using extinguishing media when small-scale fires occur. In addition, this training also provides evacuation procedures when a fire disaster causes casualties. After participating in the training, participants are expected to be able to understand, deal with fires and how to properly evacuate victims. so that in general, it can reduce losses due to fire disasters to all levels of society. Abstract

This study evaluates the readiness of prospective vocational school teachers in integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into learning using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework, which includes Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Behavioral Intention (BI), and Self-Efficacy (SE). The research employs a descriptive quantitative design with 100 respondents who are prospective vocational high school mechanical engineering teachers. The instrument consists of 30 items (Likert scale 1–5) and was validated by three validators using Aiken’s V (content = 0.90; construct = 0.88; language = 0.89; > 0.75). The results showed that PU (mean = 4.01; SD = 0.77) was the highest, followed by BI (mean = 3.93; SD = 0.92) and PEOU (mean = 3.89; SD = 0.82), while SE (mean = 3.66; SD = 0.95) was the lowest but relatively. Item-level analysis indicated strengths in perceptions of industry relevance and AI-assisted learning planning, as well as the need for strengthening technical skills and troubleshooting. These findings support the urgency for vocational curriculum development emphasizing AI literacy, pedagogical-technological training, and industry collaboration.
