Abstract

The development of communication technology has social, psychological and other social impacts. The presence of smartphones has a serious impact on cyberloafing behavior, nomophobia and addiction among students. This study aims to determine a model that describes the relationship between nomophobia, cyberloafing and addiction among college students. This research is designed as a quantitative research with a survey approach. The survey was conducted on 123 students in West Java by convenience sampling. Data analysis using Structural equation modeling test with lisrel 8.50. The results showed that the higher the anxiety of students if without a smartphone will increase cyberloafing behavior among students. In addition, this study shows that the higher the anxiety without a smartphone will strengthen the level of addiction among students. Cyberloafing behavior has no significant effect on increasing addiction to smartphones among students. Suggestions from these findings, the importance of self-control of nomophobia students to be able to reduce addiction to smartphones and also cyberloafing behavior that causes low effectiveness of student achievement.

Abstract

The training activity for preparing social media content for young people to promote tourism in Wonokitri Village is integrated with the Gerak Milenial program series which involves the participation of students from various universities individually as facilitators or instructors. This training activity is a medium that provides opportunities for Wonokitri Village youth to learn from students and vice versa, students can learn from the community directly. In this case, students can develop thinking in helping to find solutions to problems that occur in the lives of local communities. Through analysis of the situation and conditions in the field, it was found that efforts to promote village potential were still very lacking, especially the lack of involvement of village youth. The younger generation is expected to be more technologically literate and more easily utilize this technology to help improve tourism promotion. To improve these abilities, especially in the use of cell phone technology with its various applications, the author was involved in training in preparing social media content targeting the younger generation in Wonokitri Village so that they could hone their abilities in creating creative social media content to promote the tourism potential of Wonokitri Village. The training was attended by eleven village youth who were provided with a pre-test, material, and a simple post-test. Through this training, participants realized the importance of creating content on social media as an effort to attract tourists to visit Wonokitri Village.

Abstract

Pembentukan desa wisata merupakan hal penting dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan Masyarakat desa. Hal yang penting dalam pembentukan desa wisata adalah pemetaan akan potensi desa serta sikap, dan kesiapana masyarkat dalam pembentukan desa wisata. Pengabdian pada masyarkat ini adalah tahapan pemetaan desa dengan pendekatan RRA yang dikaukan dengan metode survey. Survey ini untuk mengevaluasi sikap dan intensi Masyarakat terhadap pembentukan desa wisata di jatigede. Metode pemetaan dilakukan dengan metode survey untuk menggambarkan sikap dan intensi Masyarakat dalam pembentukan desa wisata. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sikap Masyarakat dalam pembentukan desa wisata terkategori sangat positif. sebanyak 73,1 persen responden menilai sangat senang dengan pembentukan desa wisata, 43, 5 persen menilai pembentukan desa wisata dijatigede adalah hal yang bijak, dan 43,5 persen menilai desanya sangat bagus dijadikan desa wisata. untuk intensi sebanyak 69,6 persen akan mendukung pembentukan desa wisata, 56,5 akan berencana berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembentukan desa wisata serta tertarik untuk pembentukan desa wisata sebanyak 39,1 persen. Kata kunci: Sikap, Intensi, Desa Wisata
