Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of transformational leadership patterns to support the realization of changes in the school system. The type of research used is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is Public and Private Junior High Schools in Surabaya. The sample taken in this study was 40 schools. The data obtained were processed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the Smart PLS version 3.0 application program. The results provide empirical evidence to confirm that: transformational leadership has a positive effect on school performance; transformational leadership has a positive effect on stakeholder engagement; stakeholder engagement has a positive effect on school performance; stakeholder engagement mediates a positive transformational leadership relationship with school performance.

Abstract

Land public transportation modes are experiencing a significant increase after constructing the Trans Java toll road. Many bus companies maximize the use of the Trans Java toll road to serve the community, one of these companies is PT. Haryanto Motor Indonesia. This company is engaged in Autobus Transportation. This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement on job satisfaction with work-life balance as an intervening variable. This type of research is quantitative with 66 employees using purposive sampling technique with criteria is all of the respondents have worked in east java. The statistical analysis technique used is Partial Least Square with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The results obtained from the study explain that employee engagement has a positive but not significant effect on job satisfaction, employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance, work-life balance has a significant positive effect. On job satisfaction and work-life balance can mediate with full mediation category. The implication of this research is in terms of job satisfaction; the company may be able to add labour guarantees to its employees to increase the sense of security and satisfaction of the employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of emotional intelligence, organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X Pabrik Gula Lestari Nganjuk. This research is a type with a quantitative approach with a population of 185 permanent employees, and the sampling technique uses slovin sampling with a sample of 128permanentemployees. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis by IBM SPSS 25 software. The measurement scale used is the Likert Scale. The results of the study explained that emotional intelligence significantly and positively affects employee performance. Besides that, organizational citizenship behavior has a significant and positive impact on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on employee performance. The company should maintain its performance by building a communication and work culture that has been carried out based on the values of emotional intelligence, OCB level, and employee satisfaction. In addition, it can also provide work motivation to employees in the company by providing rewards through various programs that can improve work performance and increase employee performance.

Abstract

Islamic leadership is a universal leadership styles that are currently starting to be widely studied, because Islamic leadership does not only touch the worldly aspect, but also touches the spiritual aspect. The balance of these two aspects certainly affects the comfort of individuals in the organization by working optimism and enthusiasm so that it has a positive impact on organizational success. This study uses a quantitative approach by using surveys to collect the data. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, which the respondent’s criteria has a moslem leader, with a sample size of 146 respondents in the banking sector. The results showed that Islamic leadership has a positive effect on work engagement and work ethics. Then, work ethics has a significant positive effect on work engagement. Finally, work ethics mediates the influence of Islamic leadership on work engagement. Practically,  Islamic leadership gives a good environment to the employee by facilitated the work ethics to make employee dedicated and spirit in organization.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the capacity and competence of Human Resources (HR) management in the digital era for statue craftsmen in Trowulan District, Mojokerto City. This training is designed as a response to the needs of craftsmen to adapt to technological developments and digitalization that are increasingly affecting various sectors, including the craft industry. The training held in Mojokerto City includes several main materials, namely: technology-based HR management, utilization of digital media for marketing, digital HR data management, and development of communication skills for more effective collaboration. The methods used include lectures, interactive discussions, simulations, and direct practice, so that participants can easily understand and apply the material provided. The results of this activity show that the statue craftsmen have high enthusiasm for the application of digital technology in managing their businesses. Participants acknowledged their increased understanding in utilizing digital platforms to support HR management, expand marketing reach, and increase work efficiency. This activity is expected to be the first step in the digital transformation of the statue craft industry in Mojokerto, as well as have a positive impact on increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of craftsmen's businesses in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Abstract Teachers' writing skills are needed to support the demands of professionalism, especially related to career development and scientific needs. The lack of scientific work produced by teachers such as articles, books and modules is a challenge that is a challenge in the world of education. Because many opportunities support the development of writing skills: the service team organizes scientific article writing training activities for teachers of creative products and entrepreneurship subjects to improve motivation and scientific writing skills. (1) The entrepreneurship teacher has a field practicum program that can be used as writing material. (2) In developing innovative products, teachers and students make a lot of observations that can be downstream into scientific works. (3) The academic climate where teachers constantly interact with the world of science. The training implementation uses a hybrid offline and online learning system. The training materials were delivered using lecture, discussion, case studies and direct simulation methods. The results of the comparison of the participants' pretest and posttest showed that there was an increase in participants' understanding and skills in writing scientific papers. The results of the evaluation of the training implementation activities also showed that the participants were delighted with the services provided by the community service team. The results of this scientific work will undoubtedly support teachers' professional careers, namely promotion and class. Keywords; Article writing, scientific journals, management, entrepreneurship

Abstract

Facing the implementation of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) at the end of 2015 requires strategic measures to make Indonesia ready to compete with other nations in ASEAN. East Java Province has great potentials and contributions in the national agribusiness. Establishing agribusiness in East Java towards increased competitiveness is the right step to welcome AEC 2015. This research attempts to study the appropriate model of agribusiness development strategy for East Java. The selection of strategy model is expected to prepare a strong and competitive economy in East Java. Through three principles of data analysis model of Miles and Huberman with the emphasis on data collection, data display, and verification, this study also used a variety of data collection techniques and verifications such as Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observation, and others. This research was conducted in four regions as the focus of the study area: Probolinggo District, Sidoarjo District, Pasuruan District and the City of Batu. The results provide the following conclusions: (a) the agribusiness development strategy in East Java should be done with the target approach. This means that the introduction to the target is the most important factors to determine the strategy to be implemented; (b) the role of the government is highly important and strategic in developing agribusiness in East Java. These can be implemented through a variety of program models that are tailored to the target.

Abstract

PRODISTIK merupakan program sebanding dengan Diploma 1 di bidang IT yang menjadi salah satu bagian dari literasi peserta didik di lembaga pendidikan guna memperoleh kompetensi untuk bekal di era revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melakukan analisis komponen konteks, masukan, proses, produk dan manfaat program PRODISTIK yang dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Gresik. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian evaluasi model CIPPO yang secara komprehensif dapat memberikan informasi secara akurat, sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan selanjutnya. Subyek penelitian ini ialah kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum, tenaga pendidik, orang tua, lulusan, dan peserta didik. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi dokumentasi. Data kualitatif dipilih peneliti untuk melakukan analisis. Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa:  (1)  Dasar  penyusunan  program prodistik terstruktur  dengan  baik,  namun  kurang  pada  aspek  kebijakan  sekolah, (2)  Sumber  daya  pendukung  cukup,  namun  perlu  adanya  guru  pendampingan  agar dapat menangani siswa pada kasus tertentu , (3)  Proses pelaksanaan program prodistik  tergolong kurang dalam melaksanakan evaluasi pada setiap kegiatan,  (4)  Untuk  pencapaian  program prodistik,  siswa  kurang  mampu memaknai  peristiwa  dan  tindakan  yang  berkaitan  dengan penggunaan aplikasi editing, (5) Manfaat dari program belum bisa dipergunakan untuk mencari pekerjaan relevan dengan bidang IT sesuai dengan tujuan program, hal ini dapat dibuktikan hanya beberapa lulusan yang bekerja di bidang yang sama.  Penelitian ini bukan hanya memberikan kontribusi dan manfaat terhadap sekolah, tetapi juga bermanfaat bagi tenaga pendidik, orang tua, peserta didik, pemerintah dan peneliti agar dapat meningkatkan inovasi dalam pelaksanaan dan menghasilkan kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan program IT.
