Abstract

The urgency of doing this research is so that educators and students have a reference on how the relationship between religion, perseverance and learning motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education. In addition, this study also aims to determine the relationship between religious attitudes and student learning persistence at SMPN 2 Bengkulu City and SMPN 2 Jambi City in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. The research design used is a quantitative research method with a correlational research design. The number of samples studied amounted to 140 students. The results showed that in the T test there was a significant comparison between variables and in the correlation test there was a significant relationship between religious attitudes, persistence and learning motivation of students at SMPN 2 Bengkulu City and SMPN 2 Jambi City on Islamic Religious Education Subjects. The implications of this research are expected to be a reference for educators and students in improving and understanding the religious character, perseverance and learning motivation of students, so that it has a good impact on the learning process, especially in Islamic religious education subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out students’ opinion about e-module ordinary differential equations that will be developed. This type of research is a mixed method with the purposive sampling technique. The samples were 50 students of Universitas Jambi majoring physics education a regular class A and regular class B 2020 who took the mathematical physics II course. The data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive statistics for the questionnaires and Miles and Huberman’s analysis for the interview results. The findings show that the majority of the students believe the creation of this e-module is a very good idea. This is proven by the results of descriptive statistics, where the average value is 18,0 and is in the required category. The quantitative findings are strengthened by the qualitative ones from interview, which show that the majority of respondents support the creation of this e-module. The results indicate that the students require additional learning resources to fully comprehend the lessons in the Mathematical Physics II e-module. Students can learn independently in mathematical physics course by using e-modules. The future studies on mathematical physics e-modules can use this study as a guide.

Abstract

To be able to understand a mathematical problem and be able to express thoughts and arguments, and provide solutions to a problem, students need to have persistent character and mathematical processing skills. This study aims to find out whether there is a comparison of persistent character and mathematical processing skills at SDN 35 Batanghari, SDN 64 Muara Bulian, MIN 3 Batanghari, MIN 2 Batanghari in mathematics and to find out whether there is an influence between persistent character and mathematical processing skills at SDN 35 Batanghari, SDN 64 Muara Bulian, MIN 3 Batanghari, MIN 2 Batanghari in mathematics. The research method used is mixed methods with a sequential explanatory research design. The instrument in this study used character persistence questionnaires and mathematical processing skills. The t-test results obtained from the table show that there is a relationship between the persistence character variable and students' mathematical processing abilities in the subject matter of mathematical fractional computation operations. From the results of the regression test obtained from the table, it can be seen that there is an influence between the sign tenacity variables and the students' mathematical processing abilities in the subject matter of mathematics in fractional computation operations. This research can be used as a reference to pay more attention to student learning persistence because persistence has a significant effect on students' mathematical processing skills at the elementary level. Thus, the researcher hopes that further research can observe the comparison and influence of persistence with mathematical processing skills in other materials.

Abstract

This research aims to examine students' responses to implementing PjBL-based e-modules and their correlation with responsible and independent characters. A quantitative approach was employed, involving a sample of 68 eighth-grade students from SMP Adhyaksa 1 Jambi and SMP Dharma Bhakti 3 Jambi, selected through purposive sampling. The study utilized research instruments such as student response questionnaires regarding PjBL-based e-modules, responsible character questionnaires, and independent character questionnaires. Data were analyzed using t-tests and correlation tests. The findings indicate significant differences between the two schools regarding student responses to PjBL-based e-modules, responsibility, and independence. A significant correlation was found between students' responses to PjBL-based e-modules and their responsible characters, responses to PjBL-based e-modules and independent characters, and between responsible and independent characters within each school. The study concludes that student responses to PjBL-based e-modules correlate with their character development. These results enhance teaching and learning through technology, ultimately fostering positive character formation among students.
