Abstract

AbstractThe teacher is an educator who is assigned to provide knowledge. In providing knowledge, an educator must use learning strategies so that teaching and learning activities become fun and not boring so as to improve the quality of student learning. The main purpose of the discussion is to find out how the method of teachers from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Karo in delivering the material. The research was conducted using qualitative methods by collecting detailed data through interviews. Teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Karo have different learning strategies for each subject in delivering the material, such as using understanding strategies by providing understanding through powerpoint or conducting learning activities outside the classroom (outdoor) by observing the development of plants around. Learning strategies are an important key in improving the quality of student learning by raising students' enthusiasm and making the classroom atmosphere more pleasant. Another strategy carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Karo in improving the quality of learning for its students is by applying the principle where an educator becomes a father, mother, friend, brother, sister, and closest relative so that students feel comfortable and are not afraid to express themselves his opinion.Keywords: Learning Outcomes; Quality; Strategy.AbstrakGuru adalah seorang pendidik yang ditugaskan untuk memberikan ilmu. Dalam memberikan ilmunya, seorang pendidik haruslah menggunakan strategi pembelajaran agar kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan sehingga meningkatkan mutu belajar peserta didik. Tujuan utama dari pembahasan adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode guru dari Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Karo dalam menyampaikan materinya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data secara mendetail melalui wawancara. Guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Karo memiliki strategi pembelajaran yang berbeda-beda pada setiap Mata Pelajaran dalam menyampaikan materinya seperti menggunakan strategi pemahaman dengan memberikan pemahaman melalui powerpoint ataupun melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran diluar kelas (outdoor) dengan mengamati perkembangan tumbuhan disekitar. Strategi pembelajaran merupakan kunci penting dalam meningkatkan mutu belajar peserta didik dengan membangkitkan semangat peserta didik dan suasana kelas yang lebih menyenangkan. Strategi lain yang dilakukan oleh Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Karo dalam meningkatkan mutu belajar peserta didiknya yaitu dengan menerapkan prinsip dimana seorang pendidik yang menjadi ayah, ibu, sahabat, abang, kakak, dan kerabat terdekat agar peserta didik merasa nyaman dan tidak takut untuk mengemukakan pendapatnya.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar; Mutu; Strategi.

Abstract

Education policy in Indonesia over time has experienced various significant dynamics. The purpose of this change in education policy is none other than to create quality education. This research was conducted in order to fulfill the duties of the Educational Innovation Course, and aims to find out the Policy in Educational Innovation and to train writers to conduct mini research. Open schools are a solution for children who are far from the main school due to geographical conditions that are difficult to reach by public transportation, due to economic factors in some communities which are weak so they have to work even though they are still of school age between 13-18 years after graduating from elementary school.

Abstract

The performance management process which consists of planning, monitoring and assessing performance in schools has a crucial role in improving the quality of education. This article aims to analyze the performance management process carried out at SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 02 Medan Medan. The research method used in this article is qualitative by collecting data through interviews with informants. The results of the interviews conducted showed: 1) Planning includes curriculum development strategies, resources and school policies. 2) Monitoring focuses on evaluating the learning process, classroom management, and student engagement. 3) Meanwhile, performance assessment helps measure student achievement, teaching effectiveness, and achievement of school goals. The synergy of these three aspects creates an adaptive and progressive educational environment. By implementing careful planning, continuous monitoring, and holistic performance assessment, schools can ensure optimal development of student potential, respond to changing educational dynamics, and ensure sustainable learning quality.

Abstract

Manajemen kurikulum ialah suatu proses kegiatan seperti perencanaan, pengaplikasian, penerapan dan pengevaluasaian suatu pedoman pembelajaran yang berisikan bahan ajar dan kagiatan pembelajaran yang sudah direncakan atau dibuat sebagai suatu upaya untuk membantu peserta didik dan guru dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Guru merupakan peran terpenting terhadap kurikulum karena ia merupakan penyelenggara kurikulum, sehingga ia harus mampu menjelaskan, memaparkan, mengimplementasikan bahkan memanajemen kurikulum. Kurikulum merupakan alat pendidikan yang mana dalam pengimplemenasiannya diperlukannya manajemen kurikulum agar dapat mempermudah pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Dapat dilihat betapa pentingnya peran dan tugas seorang guru dalam manajemen kurikulum pada kegiatan pembelajatan, yang mana hal ini dilakukan sebagai upaya membantu memperlancar mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin diacapai karena tanpa peran seorang guru kurikulum sebagai pedoman pembelajaran tidak akan efektif
