Abstract

Student dropout is one of the crucial challenges at Indonesian secondary schools. Increase in dropout ratio has negative consequence towards supply chain performance (SCP). Various studies discussed the issue of student dropout and provided various solutions, however, it is still under discussion among the scholars and practitioners which requires a comprehensive framework. Hence, the objective of this study is twofold. This study primarily focused on two major areas, firstly; introduce various strategies to overcome the student dropout rate at secondary school, secondly; to consider the effect of student dropout ratio on SCP. For this purpose, a survey was carried out and data were collected from secondary school teachers in Indonesia. To carry out a survey, 500 questionnaires were distributed among the secondary school teachers. Results of the study highlighted that, four-step entrepreneurial system approach which is based on four major parts, namely; self-assessment, goal identification, planning and networking has significant role to decrease the student dropout ratio. Moreover, student dropout ratio has negative relationship with SCP. Additionally, entrepreneurial fun learning strengthens the relationship between four-step entrepreneurial system and student dropout ratio.

Abstract

Sejak pandemi Covid-19 melanda Indonesia, kegiatan pembelajaran pada jenjang TK dilaksanakan secara daring. Atas kebijakan tersebut, muncul beberapa kendala dan masalah dalam pelaksanaannya yang dikeluhkan banyak pengelola TK, termasuk pengelola TK Al-Zharufa. Oleh karena itu, penyuluhan melalui sosialisasi tentang pemanfaatan media sosial dalam pembelajaran daring di TK Al-Zharufa dilaksanakan. Adapun tahapan kegiatannya melalui perencanaan, pengorganisasian, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Setelah kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa pada dasarnya guru-guru di lapangan, khususnya pada TK Al-Zharufa sangat memerlukan kegiatan penyuluhan untuk mengembangkan wawasannya baik secara teoretis maupun praktis tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi media sosial dalam pembelajaran daring selama pandemi Covid-19. Demikian, kegiatan sejenis perlu dilaksanakan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the guided inquiry model that are effective in improving the originality thinking skill in the subject of colloid. The samples of this research were the students of SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung class XI IPA2 and XI IPA3 at even semester year of 2012-2013. This research used quasi experiment method by non equivalent control group design. Effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model measured based on significant n-Gain difference between control class and experiment class. The result of this research showed the average of originality thinking skill n-Gain for control class and experimental class were 0,52 and 0,60. Based on the hypothesis testing, it was concluded that the guided inquiry learning model effective in improving originality thinking skill on colloid subject.                              Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model inkuiri terbimbing  dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir orisinil pada materi koloid. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung kelas  XI IPA2dan XI IPA3 semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2012-2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent control group design. Efektivitas model inkuiri terbimbing diukur berdasarkan perbedaan n-Gain yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rerata n-Gain keterampilan berpikir orisinil untuk kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yaitu 0,52 dan 0,60. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, didapat kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir orisinil pada materi koloid.Kata kunci: berpikir orisinil,inkuiri terbimbing, koloid.

Abstract

Training is a process that aims to improve the skills and abilities beyond the prevailing education system, to a person, group or community. The training program is expected to revive the economy after the Merapi disaster victims. Problems faced by the community is the loss of livelihood as a farmer who is the foundation of life for their families devastated swept lava and hot clouds (wedus trash) trim. The purpose of this training is for the empowerment of the people who lost their livelihoods from farming to switch professions as entrepreneurial as the target is an adult female. In the process of development is necessary that adult women are empowered to the fullest, so what is the purpose in meeting the needs of family life can be fulfilled in line with expectations. women with entrepreneurial training can improve the economics of the family. The method used to approach the research and development (R & D), engineering data collection is done through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results showed the presence of the training have the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes to entrepreneurship in everyday life to be able to support the family economy.

Abstract

Pendidikan kesetaraan adalah salah satu program PKBM yang bertujuan sebagai pengganti pendidikan formal bagi masyarakat yang putus sekolah karena berbagai alasan tertentu. Pada penelitian ini peneliti ingin mengetahui motivasi belajar pada warga belajar paket kesetaraan PKBM Bina Mandiri Center Kota Bandung. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada mata pelajaran PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) paket A, B, dan C. Dalam pertemuan setiap minggunya warga belajar yang hadir tidak konsisten. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti ingin menumbuhkan motivasi warga belajar paket kesetaraan PKBM Bina Mandiri Center dengan mengoptimalkan kreativitas tutor dalam pembelajarannya. Dilihat dari objek dan hasil yang akan didapat maka penelitian ini termasuk dalam tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian deskriptif adalah penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai satu variabel atau lebih tanpa membuat perbandingan dan menghubungkan dengan variabel lain. Kreativitas pembelajaran tutor PAI di PKBM Bina Mandiri Center memiliki kemampuan yang baik. Dikarenakan tutor PAI dalam pembelajarannya sudah menggunakan beberapa macam hal yang menarik dalam membantu meningkatkan motivasi warga belajar. Warga belajar di PKBM Bina Mandiri Center memiliki antusias yang tinggi serta memiliki harapan yang tinggi kedepannya. Hanya saja memang sebagian warga belajar memiliki keterhambatan dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran dikarenakan jarak tempuh yang jauh serta bentrok dengan pekerjaan mereka. Akan tetapi, PKBM Bina Mandiri Center memiliki solusi agar warga belajar dapat tetap mengikuti pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstrak: Komunikasi merupakaan fondasi kehidupan manusia yang dibangun untuk menjalin hubungan sesama. Komunikasi orang tua pada anak terjadi pada diri anak yang berkelanjutan dan secara sendirinya akan membentuk karakter anak. Keluarga menjadi tempat yang pertama dan utama dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Fokus penelitian ini adalah model komunikasi keluarga untuk membentuk karakter anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi model komunikasi keluarga dalam membentuk karakter anak. Apa yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam menerapkan model komunikasi yang di aplikasikan dalam keluarga antara orang tua dan anak. Model komunikasi keluarga yang umum di gunakan dalam keluarga adalah Model otoriter dengan menggunakan aturan yang ketat dan mengharapkan kepatuhan tanpa banyak diskusi; Model permisif orang tua cenderung memberikan kebebasan yang besar pada anak dan jarang memberian batasan atau disiplin dan; Demokratis, orang tua berdiskusi dan berkolabrasi dalam mengambil keputusan, dengan memberikan ruang bagi anak untuk kebebasann kepada kesempatan kepada anak untuk berpartisipasi aktif mendengarkan pendapatnya, dan melibatkan mereka dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dan prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data: reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Implementasi model komunikasi keluarga dalam membentuk karakter anak mayoritas dengan menggunakan model demokratis; (2) Faktor pendukung adalah latar belakang orang Jawa masih hormat dan taat kepada kedua orang tuanya atau yang di tuakan dalam keluarga. (3) Faktor penghambat adalah adanya kemajuan teknologi, anak lebih banyak bermain dengan hadirnya smartphone sehingga waktu untuk komunikasi bersama berkurang. Kunci: komunikasi; keluarga; karakter. Abstract Communication serves as the fundamental foundation of human life, built to foster relationships. Parent-child communication is a continuous process that intrinsically shapes a child's character. The family is the primary and most crucial environment for a child's character formation. This study focuses on family communication models in shaping children's character. The objectives of this research are to understand the implementation of family communication models in shaping children's character and to identify the facilitating and hindering factors in applying these communication models within families, specifically between parents and children. Common family communication models include: the Authoritarian model, which uses strict rules and expects obedience without much discussion; the Permissive model, where parents tend to grant great freedom to children and rarely impose limits or discipline; and the Democratic model, where parents discuss and collaborate in decision-making, providing children with the opportunity for active participation, listening to their opinions, and involving them in the decision-making process. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection procedures involving observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that: (1) The implementation of family communication models in shaping children's character predominantly utilizes the democratic model; (2) Supporting factors include the Javanese cultural background, where children still show respect and obedience to their parents or elders within the family; (3) Hindering factors include the advancement of technology, leading children to spend more time with smartphones, thus reducing time for shared communication. Abstract

Abstract:. Anxiety among students when preparing their final assignment/thesis there is a feeling of anxiety that is felt, because they are afraid or worried about the threat of not being able to complete the final assignment. The aim of this research is to find out how severe the anxiety experienced by students is and what behavior occurs in students. The research method used is a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The use of this instrument is intended to determine student anxiety in facing the thesis trial in terms of student behavior/attitudes or behavior. The subjects of this research were students who were going to face a thesis exam and who were working on their thesis. The results of the research obtained were that students experienced (a) Realistic anxiety, namely fear of danger from the external world, and the level of anxiety was in accordance with the degree of threat that existed, as many as three people (b ) Moral anxiety is fear of one's own conscience, fear of the punishment that will be received from parents or other authority figures if a person satisfies instincts in his own way, which he believes will result in punishment, as many as five people. (c) There are two types of neurotic anxiety, namely fear of punishment that will be received from parents or other authority figures. If someone satisfies his instincts in his own way, he believes he will reap punishment. The conclusion is that anxiety facing the thesis trial is reviewed from student behavior into three human behaviors: (a) Cognitive; Disturbance of attention, loss of concentration, easy forgetting, misinterpretation, confusion, decreased field of perception, excessive self-awareness, excessive worry, decreased objectivity, fear of accidents, and so on. (c) Affective: impatient, tense, neurosis, tremor, extreme nervousness, very restless and others. (c) psychomotor; Restlessness, tremors, nervousness, rapid speech and lack of coordination, withdrawal and avoidance
