Abstract

In the Japanese language education listening skill know as choukai. but For students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program at Padang State University, there must be difficulties affecting students in terms of internal and external factors. Based on the preliminary study conducted by the researcher, it was found that there were some difficulties in learning choukai, therefore the authors decided to research and search more fully the factors that cause choukai learning difficulties.This study aims to describe the factors that cause difficulties in learning choukai at 2019 academic year students of Japanese Language Education Study Program, the type of research is descriptive quantitative. The populations of this study was amounted to 59 students. The sample of the study was the entire population using a total sampling technique, namely all students in the 2019 Japanese Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Padang. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with a likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive with percentage. The result of this study were obtained factors that cause difficulties to learn listening students are, internal factors 1) the students physical condition on decline or sick, 2) students experience not used to communicating with native speakers. Exsternal factors 1) the speaking style factor, the speaker which is too fast, 2) the speaker factor that uses the hatsuon is very fast cause students have difficulty getting informasion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengawasan pelayanan publik terhadap keberhasilan reformasi birokrasi di Kota Padang. Melalui pendekatan gabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana keterlibatan aktif masyarakat mempengaruhi efisiensi, responsivitas, akuntabilitas, dan transparansi dalam penyediaan layanan publik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat memiliki peran krusial dalam menguatkan kualitas pelayanan publik dengan memperkuat pengawasan terhadap kinerja birokrasi. Namun, tantangan seperti tingkat kesadaran, responsifitas birokrasi, dan akses terhadap informasi mempengaruhi sejauh mana partisipasi ini dapat membentuk akuntabilitas dan transparansi dalam reformasi birokrasi.

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the skills that plays an important role in mathematics learning. Problem solving is at the core of mathematics education in the United States. The mathematics curriculum in the US emphasizes the development of students' abilities to understand concepts and apply them to solve problems in various contexts. This approach is reflected in various educational standards and initiatives, which aim to prepare students to face the challenges of the 21st century. This research aims to describe Problem Solving in the mathematics curriculum in the United States. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR).The research findings indicate that (1) the standard education curriculum in the United States refers to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM), which outlines what students should learn in mathematics from kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12). (2) Efforts have been made in the United States to improve students' problem-solving abilities, including an emphasis on Mathematical Practices, the implementation of PBL and inquiry-based learning, technology integration, process-focused assessments, and teacher professional development. Common Core State Standards for Mathematics emphasize conceptual understanding, Mathematical Practices, and problem-solving in real-world contexts, which have the potential to enhance students'.
