<![CDATA[Upaya swamedikasi warga dalam menyembuhkan penyakit ringan sangat penting untuk menjadi perhatian, terutama oleh tenaga farmasi. Perihal ini terpaut dalam pencegahan meningkatnya medication error disebabkan kesalahan dalam pengelolaan obat-obatan dalam rumah tangga. Bermacam kasus mengenai obat bisa disebabkan karena warga belum menguasai pengelolaan obat dengan benar. Salah satu upaya pencegahan kesalahan tersebut yaitu edukasi mengenai DAGUSIBU (DApatkan, GUnakan, SImpan, serta BUang) yang diberikan kepada kader PKK serta Ibu rumah tangga yang merupakan mercusuar pemakaian obat yang benar dalam rumah tangga. Bersumber pada data yang diperoleh, Kader PKK dan Ibu Rumah tangga di Daerah Tanjung Johor Kota Jambi belum sempat memperoleh informasi tentang DAGUSIBU sehingga butuh dilakukan sosialisasi DAGUSIBU. Giat ini diharapkan Kader PKK serta Ibu Rumah Tangga bisa memberikan dan melanjutkan informasi tentang pemakaian serta perlakuan obat yang benar kepada anggota keluarganya dan saudara serta warga di daerah tempat tinggal mereka khususnya warga di daerah Tanjung Johor Kabupaten Jambi. Tata cara yang digunakan dalam aktivitas ini merupakan pengenalan permasalahan, penerapan sosialisasi DAGUSIBU dengan metode penyuluhan, dialog interaktif, serta pambagian buku saku DAGUSIBU, serta poster. Giat sosialisasi tentang DAGUSIBU berjalan dengan lancar. Antusias dari partisipan dalam sosialisasi sangat besar, hal ini terindikasi dengan banyaknya pertanyaan serta komunikasi interaktif antara narasumber serta partisipan. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa menunjang keberhasilan upaya pencegahan terjadinya medication error dalam pemakaian obat dalam keluarga serta warga.Abstract: Community self-medication efforts in treating minor illnesses need attention, especially by pharmacists. This is related to the prevention of medication errors due to errors in managing medicines in the household. Various problems related to drugs can be caused by people not understanding drug management properly. One of the efforts to prevent this error is education about DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Save and Dispose of) which is given to PKK cadres and housewives who are considered to be a beacon of correct drug use in the household. Based on the information obtained, PKK cadres and housewives in the Tanjung Johor Region, Jambi City, have never received information about DAGUSIBU, so it is necessary to socialize about DAGUSIBU. With this activity, it is hoped that PKK Cadres and Housewives can share information about the correct use and handling of drugs to their family members as well as relatives and the community in the area where they live. The methods used in this activity are problem identification, implementation of DAGUSIBU socialization by means of counseling, interactive discussions, and distribution of DAGUSIBU pocket books, and posters. Socialization activities about DAGUSIBU went smoothly. The enthusiasm of the participants who attended the socialization was very high, this was indicated by the many questions and interactive communication between the resource person and the participants. This is expected to support the success of efforts to prevent medication errors in drug use in families and communities. It is also hoped that PKK cadres and housewives can pass on this information to friends, relatives and the surrounding community, especially the people in the Tanjung Johor area, Jambi Regency.]]>
