Abstract

Pendahuluan: Layanan kesehatan adalah salah satu hak yang diperlukan bagi masyarakat, sehingga perlu disediakan dan diatur oleh pemerintah. Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) adalah badan pemerintah yang berfungsi untuk mengatur program kesehatan untuk seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Salah satu indikator untuk mengevaluasi kualitas layanan kesehatan adalah menentukan kepuasan pasien terhadap kualitas layanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kepuasan pasien BPJS Kesehatan terhadap kualitas layanan kesehatan gigi di Poli Gigi pada Klinik Zamrud dan Klinik Asyifa Medika Padang. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah cross-sectional dengan populasi pasien BPJS Kesehatan yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, dan mengunjungi klinik selama Februari 2018. Kuesioner digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Analisis data univariat disajikan dalam diagram dan tabel. Analisis data bivariat dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square dengan nilai signifikansi α=0,05. Hasil: Hasil analisis di Klinik Zamrud menunjukkan bahwa dimensi tampilan fisik, keandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, dan empati (p=0,182) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien BPJS Kesehatan. Variabel tampilan fisik (p = 0,226) dan jaminan (p=0,118) tidak mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien; variabel kehandalan (p=0,048), daya tanggap (p=0,003), dan empati (p=0,007), mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien BPJS Kesehatan. Conclusions: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan pasien BPJS di klinik pratama Zamrud dengan tampilan fisik, keandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan dan empati dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kepuasan pasien BPJS di klinik Assyifa Medika terhadap dimensi pelayanan di poli gigi yaitu tampilan fisik dan jaminan, namun terdapat hubungan pada dimensi  kehandalan, daya tanggap, dan empati.Kata kunci: Kualitas pelayanan, kepuasan, Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan). ABSTRACTIntroduction: Health services is one of the necessary rights for society, needs to be provided and arranged by the government. Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) is a government body that functioned to organise health programs for all Indonesians. One indicator to evaluate the quality of health service is to determine the satisfaction of patient on the quality of health services.  This study was aimed to identify the satisfaction of Healthcare and Social Security Agency patients on the quality of dental health service at Dental Polyclinic of Zamrud and Asyifa Medika Clinic Padang. Methods: The research design was cross-sectional with the population of Healthcare and Social Security Agency patient who met the inclusion criteria, and visited the clinic during February 2018. A questionnaire was used for data collection tool. Univariate data analysis was presented with diagrams and tables. Bivariate data analysis was performed using the chi-square test with a significance value of α = 0.05. Results: The results of the analysis in Zamrud Clinic showed a dimension of tangibility, reliability, responsibility, assurance, and empathy (p = 0.182) not affected significantly to the satisfaction of Healthcare and Social Security Agency patients. Variable of tangibility (p = 0.226) and assurance (p = 0.118) was not affected the patients’ satisfaction; variable of reliability (p = 0.048), responsibility (p = 0.003), and empathy (p = 0.007), however, were affected significantly towards the Healthcare and Social Security Agency patients’ satisfaction. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the Healthcare and Social Security Agency patients’ satisfaction in the Zamrud Pratama clinic with tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Also, there is no relationship between the level of Healthcare and Social Security Agency patients’ satisfaction in Assyifa Medika clinics to the dimensions of service at the dental clinic, such as tangibility and assurance. Still, there is a relationship to the dimensions of reliability, responsibility, and empathy. Keywords: Service quality, satisfaction, Healthcare and Social Security Agency.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Usaha Kesehatan Gigi Sekolah merupakan upaya peningkatan kesehatan gigi mulut anak sekolah. Penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai media, diantaranya media power point dan flip chart. Media dalam pendidikan kesehatan merupakan sarana membangun suasana kondusif terhadap perubahan perilaku positif kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis perbandingan Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified sebelum dan setelah penyuluhan menyikat gigi menggunakan media power point  dan media flip chart. Metode: Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan one group pre and post test design, populasi  seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 32 Padang sebanyak 30 orang dan dibagi 3 kelompok dengan metode total sampling, waktu penelitian bulan Agustus 2018. Analisis data yang digunakan uji non parametrik menggunakan mann  whitney dan  wilcoxon sign rank test. Hasil: Rerata nilai Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified kelompok pre-test sebesar 1,64 menurun menjadi 1,06 pada post-test dan terdapat perbedaan Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan menyikat gigi menggunakan media power point 0,007 (p<0,05). Rerata nilai Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified kelompok pre-test sebesar 2,65 menurun menjadi 1,33 pada post-test dan terjadi perbedaan yang bermakna dari pre-test ke nilai post-test. Simpulan: Penyuluhan menyikat gigi menggunakan media power point dan media flip chart mampu menurunkan nilai Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHI-S).Kata kunci: Power point, flip chart, oral hygiene index-simplified. ABSTRACTIntroduction: School Dental Health Programs is an effort to improve oral health for school children. Oral health education can be carried out using various media, including the PowerPoint media and flip charts. Media in health education is a means of building a conducive atmosphere for positive health behaviour changes. The purpose of this study was to analyse the comparison of Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHIS) before and after tooth brushing counselling using PowerPoint and flip chart media. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental study with one group of pre and post-test design. The populations were as many as 30 class VIII students at Padang Public Junior School 32, which divided into three groups using the total sampling method. The research period was August 2018. Data analysis used was non-parametric test using Mann Whitney and Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Results: The mean OHIS value in the pre-test group was 1.64 and decreased to 1.06 in the post-test. There was a difference of the OHIS before and after giving tooth brushing counselling using PowerPoint media 0.007 (p < 0.05). The mean OHIS value in the pre-test group was 2.65 and decreased to 1.33 in the post-test group. There was a significant difference in the score between the pre-test and post-test group. Conclusion: Toothbrushing counselling using PowerPoint and flip chart media was able to reduce the Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHI-S) score.Keywords: PowerPoint, flip chart, Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified, OHIS.

Abstract

Introduction: Changes in the oral cavity due to aging can affect the quality of life-related to oral health. There is limited research related to this in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province, Dumai City. The purpose of this study was to assess the quality of life related to the oral cavity in the elderly and to analyze its relationship to individual characteristics, including gender, age, and weight. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted by the survey of gender, age, weight, and quality of life-related to the oral cavity in the elderly using the Indonesian version of the Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI) questionnaire consisting of 12 questions. The sampling technique of this study was an accidental sampling method, with a total of 247 respondents. Inclusion criteria are elderly people aged 65 years, not having a history of systemic disease, and not undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Results: From the results of the study, it was found that respondents with low quality of life were 96.4% (GOHAI score 50), respondents with moderate quality of life were 3.6% (GOHAI score 51-56) and respondents with high quality of life were 0% (GOHAI score 57 -60). The results of the Spearman Rank correlation test between the variables of sex (p-value 0.000), age (p-value 0.002), and body weight (p-value 0.000) on quality of life showed significant results (p <0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between gender, age, and weight with quality of life-related to the oral cavity in the elderly in Dumai City, Riau Province. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a health policy strategy in an effort to improve the quality of life in the elderly, especially those related to the oral cavity

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Karies merupakan hilangnya ion-ion mineral secara terus menerus dari permukaan email atau permukaan akar gigi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri. Kerusakan ini ditandai dengan adanya white spot lesion atau bercak putih. Sebuah gigi dapat mengalami proses demineralisasi dan remineralisasi, ketika pH turun menjadi 5,5 proses demineralisasi menjadi lebih cepat dari pada proses remineralisasi. Penyandang tunagrahita memiliki risiko yang tinggi terhadap masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut daripada orang normal karena penyandang tunagrahita memiliki keterbatasan dalam merawat diri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan indeks severitas karies dengan pH saliva pada penyandang tunagrahita di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita (SBG) Harapan Ibu Kalumbuak Kota Padang. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini merupakan analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 100 orang diperoleh dengan total sampling. Karies diukur menggunakan indeks DMF-T. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi – square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indeks DMF-T berada pada kategori tinggi serta pH saliva asam. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapatnya hubungan indeks severitas karies dengan pH saliva pada penyandang tunagrahita
