Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is entitled The Existence of Gatra Magazine of Sumbagsel Facing the Era of Digitization 4.0. With the formulation of the problem: How does the existence of Gatra Sumbagsel Magazine face the era of digitization 4.0. The type of research itself uses descriptive qualitative methods with primary data sources from interviews and secondary data sources from observation and documentation. In analyzing the data, it is carried out through three stages, namely: reduction, data presentation and data verification or drawing conclusions. Data analysis was performed using SWOT analysis and Mass Media Management theory. The results showed that Gatra Sumbagsel Magazine was able to compete in the digitization era by implementing a lean business pattern of human resources in maintaining branding and maximizing business potential in government and private institutions as the main target of business development. Abstract

A political party is an organization formed by a group of people who have the same goals and thoughts in achieving political goals. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, with 86.77% of the population being Muslim. There are many Islamic organizations that are developing in Indonesia, such as PPP, PKB, Muhammadiyyah, Nadhalatul Ulama and one of them is PKS which carries a religious, nationalist Islamic party and provides full support for people's aspirations. This party carries out the spread of Islam and da'wah methods engaged in politics. At this time, organizations that smell of Islam certainly have a negative stigma. Such as radicalism, terrorism and making hate speech against the organization. This type of research uses field research, namely conducting investigations of field symptoms and gathering sources to support research. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The data used qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the communication carried out by the PKS political party with the PKS DPD case study in Palembang City that using da'wah activities, persuasive communication, providing education to the community, makes Islamic parties at the forefront of people's aspirations, especially the middle to lower class, solid parties as well as prioritizing a sense of justice and prosperity for the people, especially for the future generation of leaders. The community's response strongly supports the work program of the PKS party and makes PKS a forum for people's aspirations as well as a da'wah method in spreading Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of Facebook as a communication medium by the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) organization in Tanjung Tambak Baru Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The background of the research stems from the phenomenon of the suboptimal use of social media—particularly Facebook—in disseminating information, promoting activities, and strengthening the village's image, despite the village having considerable human and natural resource potential. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, using data collection techniques such as participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The analysis focuses on three main dimensions: (1) the use of Facebook in PKK organizational communication, (2) the effectiveness of Facebook in information dissemination and increasing participation, and (3) the challenges faced in social media management. The findings indicate that Facebook is fairly effective as a medium for interactive communication and broad information outreach, as evidenced by increased community engagement through comments, likes, and content sharing. However, there are obstacles such as limited digital literacy, internet access, and content management continuity. The study recommends strategies to optimize the use of Facebook to expand information outreach, strengthen public participation, and support the achievement of village development goals

Abstract

This study aims to discuss YouTube as a learning medium in improving the communication skills of students at SD Negeri 11 Tanjung Batu, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of YouTube can enhance students' communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, through the presentation of more engaging, interactive, and contemporary content. Supporting factors in the use of YouTube include the availability of technological devices, students' enthusiasm, and teacher support, while limiting factors include internet connectivity issues, lack of content control, and teachers' limited skills in utilizing technology. In conclusion, YouTube is effective as an innovative learning medium in developing elementary school students' communication skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing communication strategy of PT Rumah Daun Kreatif in maintaining local tie-dye textile products in Palembang City amidst increasingly competitive creative industry conditions. The study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of internal company personnel. The results indicate that PT Rumah Daun Kreatif implements integrated marketing communications by utilizing social media such as Instagram and mass media such as television, as well as participation in various events as promotional tools. The promotional strategy focuses on strengthening brand awareness by highlighting local cultural values, unique traditional motifs, and the manual manufacturing process as key attractions. The use of storytelling through digital media is also effective in building emotional closeness and consumer loyalty. The study concludes that an integrated and consistent marketing communication strategy is key to PT Rumah Daun Kreatif's success in maintaining the existence of local tie-dye textile products in both local and national markets.
