Abstract

The article aims to discuss about how to teach make up for the beginner through an organized event. The researcher explains about step by step to make a great event such as AISMAWARI. The research is descriptive qualitative. The researcher describes the study briefly. The researcher posts and analizes, and explains the pictures briefly from pre-event, the main event, and the post event. The research reveals the phenomenon that collaboration is needed to make a big events. It also collaborates with a hundred of make up artists, a hundred of designers, and a hundred of models. It involves many supporters. It is held at Atrium Istana Plaza Bandung, in Pasir Kaliki Street no. 121-123. The due date is March 8th, 2019. It related to the primary education pedagogy. It is because the researcher tries to teach the beginner although it is covered by multiliteracy and multiagendas in a big events. The goal is to ask the participants or beginners to think in higher level. The researcher wants to educate the beginner not only to hear the material, but also do the action. As it is believed, practices make perfect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in reading interest of students with an intellectual disability after carrying out a 15-minute reading movement and the role of parents in helping their children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a case study method for two students with intellectual disabilities. The results of this study are students with intellectual disabilities become enthusiastic to read and have a high interest in reading. From these results, we get differences in the results of the pre-test and post-test. This is because students get interesting reading and support from their parents. Indeed, this movement has an impact on the reading interest of every student with intellectual disability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' interest in foreign languages such as German or Japanese. Descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique used descriptive qualitative and gave some reading texts to the children. The results of the study showed that the relationship between students to foreign languages other than the language that was introduced was very high, and they increasingly wanted to learn the foreign language even though they could not pronounce foreign vocabulary correctly, the foreign language contained in the Indonesian text did not make them stop reading or reading.

Abstract

Japanese is one of the most popular languages after English. Its culture that captivates people's hearts, makes interest in the language increase, both from children and adults. Until now, learning Japanese has become the program of choice at the high school level to universities. This study aims to analyze the interest of junior high school students in Japanese. Descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique used qualitative descriptive and provided some introductory vocabulary, numbers, and some common Japanese vocabulary. The results showed that students' knowledge of basic Japanese when given the pretest was 66.67%. After students were given material in the form of power points about basic Japanese, students' knowledge increased by 70.37%. The conclusion obtained is that students already have sufficient knowledge of basic Japanese such as introductions, numbers, and basic vocabulary. It can be seen from the increase in the pre-test and post-test that has been given only an increase of 11%. In addition, it can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in interactive question and answer sessions during the learning process. It is hoped that this research can become a consideration regarding the choice of Japanese language programs up to junior high school level

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using instructional media in the form of animated videos on increasing learning motivation in junior high school students. This study used a quantitative research method with a correlative approach aimed at 10 students of grade 8 Junior High School Cikupa, Tangerang Indonesia. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires, post-tests, and pre-tests, analyzing, and describing the results. The results showed that previously students had not been able to absorb civic education material well because of the monotonous learning method. With the presentation of material with animated videos about norms and justice, it is seen that there is an increase in learning motivation which of course has an impact on learning outcomes by 7.59%.

Abstract

Art learning activities in schools are learning that must be done in practice, but currently many art educators do not provide maximum learning for students, and free students to be creative without giving directions. So that in this study it is hoped that students can understand the importance of art practice to develop students' creativity and explore the potential in students. In addition, this study aims to provide insight to junior high school students to understand that the application of an alum fixator in the process of making eco print batik can provide a new experience in the practice of fine arts at school. The method used is using quantitative methods by making 2 sessions of distributing questions, namely pretest and posttest after distributing the material delivered through PowerPoint and videos of the eco print batik making process which are analyzed in the form of statistical diagram tables. The results of the study produced a fairly good impact on the learning process, almost the entire sample of students who joined this study understood it well and wanted to apply it one day.

Abstract

Reading ability is a skill to gain knowledge and insight that will increase intelligence. At the elementary school level, it is still quite difficult to foster interest in reading, so that learning media is needed that can support teaching and learning activities. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the level of reading ability and understanding of elementary school students about the introduction of nutrients in carrots and the effect of using mind mapping on the learning process. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through pre-test and post-test activities. The sample in this study amounted to 10 fifth-grade elementary school students. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test activities on the introduction of the nutritional content of carrots using mind mapping, it showed a significant increase in students' reading and understanding abilities with an average increase of 74%. This shows that mind mapping can make the learning process fun and make students pay more attention. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of mind mapping can help elementary students in improving their reading skills and understanding the relevant nutritional content of carrots.

Abstract

Busana kreasi dibuat sebagai hasil daya cipta, khayalan atau angan-angan, gagasan, ide, atau inspirasi seseorang serta dibuat dari bahan-bahan yang tidak lazim untuk dipergunakan dalam pembuatan busana. Penelitian ini membahas tentang mengadaptasi salah satu tokoh film fantasi sebagai sumber ide untuk di realisasikan sebagai busana kreasi, salah satunya film Raya And The Last Dragon dengan tokoh Jagan. Jagan digambarkan sebagai naga air dengan bulu berwarna ungu dari lima bersaudara. Jagan memiliki sihir dalam menciptakan kabut tebal sehingga mustahil untuk dilihat. Pengambilan tema didasarkan adanya pemikiran untuk mengadaptasi tokoh pada film fantasi. Didapatkan hasil adaptasi dengan penggunaan bahan sequin seribu payet, bahan long fur korea, model mermaid skirt, tile mutiara dan furing ungu, serta dakron. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil pengadaptasian tokoh pada sebuah film fantasi menjadi busana kreasi diharapkan dapat menciptakan visual baru yang khas dan berbeda.
