Abstract

Various Lung Diseases will still be a public health problem. COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD) is a disease characterized by partially reversible and progressive inhalation flow obstruction associated with an abnormal inflammatory response from the lungs to exposure to harmful particles or gases (Black, JM & Hawk, JH 2014). Respiratory disease generally affects sleep, especially clients with chronic lung disease such as emphysema with clinical symptoms of short breathing. Most COPD patients report that their sleep is often disturbed due to shortness of breath, coughing and excessive secretion production, especially at night. The study design used was descriptive. The population in this study were COPD patients in the jasmine room at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau province. Sampling was taken by purposive sampling as many as 30 respondents. The instrument in this study to assess the quality of the bed using the PSQI questionnaire. The results showed that the sleep quality of lung disease patients treated in the jasmine room at Arifin Achmad Hospital was in the bad category, namely 23 people (77%). This research is expected to be a reference in providing nursing interventions for COPD sufferers who experience sleep disorders

Abstract

Tuberculosis adalah penyakit yang menular secara langsung yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobaterium tuberculosis yang sebagian besar menyerang paru, tidak hanya itu. Tuberculosis juga menyerang organ lainnya. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan yang dilakukan oleh penulis di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pekanbaru pada bulan April 2020. Penemuan kasus TB salah satu yang terbanyak dari 21 Puskesmas di kota Pekanbaru ada di Puskesmas Payung Sekaki. Puskesmas ini memiliki prevalensi penyakit TB tertinggi kedua di kota pekanbaru tahun 2018. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi kesembuhan dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien TB Paru . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Payung Sekaki pada bulan Mei-juni 2020. Populasi dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien TB paru di Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Kota Pekanbaru sebanyak 112 dengan sampel 53 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan purposive sampling.Denganmenggunakanuji statistic ( Chi square ). Hasil penelitian uji statistik (Chi-square) diperoleh nilai (p=0,015) dengan presentasi 72%. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima atau ada hubungan antara motivasi kesembuhan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien TB paru di Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Gout is a condition of the end result of purine metabolism that can cause symptoms of unbearable pain, swelling and a burning sensation in the joints. This makes the elderly experience a decrease in the ability to carry out daily activities so that giving warm compresses is needed for the elderly. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of warm compresses on reducing joint pain in the elderly with gout arthritis at UPT PSTW Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru. The research design used was pre experimental designs with the design of ''One Group Pretest and Posttest. The population of all elderly people with gout at UPT PSTW Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru is 17 elderly people with a sample of 17 elderly people. The sampling technique is total sampling. The results of the study using statistical tests obtained the value of value = 0.000 < (0.05). It can be concluded that research shows the effect of warm compresses on reducing joint pain in the elderly with Gout Athritis disease at UPT PSTW Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Breastfeeding is an unbeatable way of providing the ideal food for the healthy growth and development of the baby. In addition, it has a unique biological and psychiatric influence on the health of the mother and baby. Anti-infective substances contained in breast milk help protect the baby against diseases. However, breastfeeding is not always able to go on normally. Not a few mothers will complain such as breast swelling due to breast milk buildup due to uneven discharge or suction by the baby. Therefore, in order to avoid this kind of condition from occurring, it is necessary to do a lactation massage. The purpose of this community service is so that breastfeeding mothers know and understand how to overcome breast milk that does not come out during breastfeeding with lactation massage techniques so that the prevalence of babies who get exclusive breastfeeding is higher. This training was carried out at the Posyandu kejora Cemerlang Pekanbaru City with the number of participants as many as 20 people. The method of implementing activities broadly includes the stages of counseling, practice and evaluation. After providing education and practicing lactation massage, there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of pregnant women about lactation massage, where at the time of the pre-test the level of knowledge of mothers with the less category was 13 people (67%), while with the good category was 7 people (33%) while at the time of the post-test the level of knowledge of mothers with less category was 1 person (5%) and with a good category was 19 people (93%). It is necessary to carry out continuous mentoring activities for pregnant women which can be done through the formation of discussion groups either directly with regular meetings or indirectly with whatsapp groups, so that the problems experienced by mothers during pregnancy to breastfeeding can be resolved.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah pengangguran tersebut disebabkan beberapa faktor antara lain masih lemahnya kemampuan pemberdayaan potensi lokal pendudukan khususnya di pedesaan untuk turut serta menciptakan kemandirian perekonomian wilayah. Salah satu yang dapat dilakukan untuk menciptakan kemandirian perekonomian adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pembuatan jamu wedang jahe yang di Panti Asuhan Walidah Pekanbaru. Pelatihan jamu wedang jahe ini menjadi fokus dari pengabdian masyarakat ini. Jahe Instan adalah hasil olahan dari parutan jahe lokal yang dimasak menggunakan gula, sereh dan air. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah didapat peningkatan kemandirian ekonomi dengan pembuatan wedang jahe anak-anak panti asuhan walidah Pekanbaru mendapatkan penghasilan ekonomi untuk panti maupun untuk anak-anak itu sendiri.

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah gangguan sistem pembuluh darah yang menyebabkan kenaikan tekanan darah di dalam arteri diatas normal. Pencegahan hipertensi bisa diatasi dengan pengobatan Non Farmakologis Hydrotherapy.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan Hydrotherapy. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang menggunakan desain Quassy Eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Sebelum dilakukan hydrotherapy tekanan darah responden diukur terlebih dahulu kemudian setelah dilakukan hydrotherapy tekanan darah responden diukur kembali. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan rata-rata tekanan darah responden setelah dilakukan Hydrotherapy turun, yang bisa dilihat dari nilai mean pre-test sistolik yaitu 152,80 turun menjadi 127,93 dan nilai mean post-test diastolik juga turun yaitu dari 97,07 menjadi 82,93 dan nilai P-value 0,000. Ada Pengaruh Hydrotherapy terhadap tekanan darah (sistolik dan diastolik) sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan.
