Abstract

One of the supports for improving a country's economy is the availability of various modes of transportation that can be accessed or used by all communities to support activities such as work, trade, school, medical treatment, etc. Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia, is the center of business, trade, government, etc., so of course many people head to the city of Jakarta to carry out various activities. Likewise, people from the city of Semarang travel to the city of Jakarta to carry out various activities. Research was carried out on the choice of transportation modes from the city of Semarang to the city of Jakarta using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with data processing using Expert Choice software and the resulting choice of the mode of transportation was private cars as the main alternative with a weight of 31.9% and the next alternative was airplanes ( 30.9%), train (23.9) and bus (13.3%). The main selection criteria is travel time with a weight of 28.5%, and the next criteria are cost (25.7%), safety (20.2%), reliability (15.3%) and comfort (10.4%). And the inconsistency rate of this research is 3%.

Abstract

With the development of the era at this time, the needs needed as a student also develop and increase, as well as students in the Department of Architecture. The technology needs of architecture students, in this case a laptop, is quite necessary to support the needs in the field of architecture. With a variety of laptop brands and different specifications, of course, architecture students will be more selective in deciding to buy a laptop that is suitable for supporting architectural needs. Based on this, to assist architecture students in choosing a laptop, it is necessary to have a decision-making system using the SAW (Simple Additive Weight) method. This method is used to determine alternative choices based on predetermined weights and criteria. And then sorting is done which will determine the best alternative from all existing criteria, namely a laptop that fits the needs and desires of architecture students. In this study, 6 alternative choices of laptop brands are given, namely Asus, Acer, Dell, Lenovo, MSI and HP. After normalizing for each criterion and multiplying the results of normalization with the weight of the criteria, a laptop that is suitable for architecture students is obtained.

Abstract

Network security is very vital for a computer network. Weaknesses in computer networks if not protected will cause losses in the form of loss of data or files, damage to server systems, not optimally serving users or even loss of valuable institutional assets. During this pandemic, all teaching and learning activities and exams are carried out online. With the online exam, SMAN 5 Surakarta provides a special server to be provided to students. On the other hand, the server must be accessible online while this can trigger various attacks on the server and it is possible to attack the server via the server IP and port which can result in leaking of confidential data, questions to be tested and data from participants or even these attacks allow the server down. Knowing how to secure a network using DMZ (demilitarized zone) and Port Knocking is the goal of the research. The most frequently used attacks are Port Scanning and DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service). Port Scanning is the initial stage to detect open ports. Whereas DDoS is a DoS attack that utilizes multiple distributed attack resources. Typically, attackers use a large number of controlled bots (host computers/daemons, also referred to as zombies) distributed across several different locations to launch a large number of DoS attacks against a single target or multiple targets. For this reason, network security techniques are needed that can ward off the threat of these attacks or minimize the threat of attacks that can enter the network system. In this study, the DMZ (demilitarized zone) technique was implemented to access the local server so that it could be accessed from outside safely and using the Port Knocking technique to open filtered access ports.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn the era of digital technology, generator engines that are commonly used as electric generator drives can be controlled automatically and safely. In the design of this generator control system, it is a combination of communication technology with microcontroller technology. The millennial community today is no stranger to operating a communication device in the form of an android. The development of this device is able to transmit data to electronic devices in microcontroller packaging. The combination of android and microcontroller can be used by the system to control the generator engine remotely or closely. The benefit of this collaboration between android and microcontroller is that the generator can be turned on remotely when PLN is off.
