Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the factors that cause children to drop out of school; (2) the impact of children dropping out of school and (3) efforts to overcome dropouts in Seteluk Village, Seteluk Sub-district, KSB. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study found (1) the factors that cause children to drop out of school are low interest or willingness of children to go to school, schools are considered unattractive, inability to attend lessons, family economic conditions, lack of parental attention, less supportive environment, and less harmonious parental relationships. ; (2) There are four negative impacts of dropping out of school in Seteluk Village, namely limited insight or knowledge in children, having a sense of inferiority, children's emotional maturity will be increasingly hampered and become unemployed; (3) Efforts to overcome dropouts in Seteluk Village can be carried out, namely parents monitoring academic abilities, parents paying attention to children's personalities, providing scholarships and free school assistance for underprivileged children, increasing the role of the government in solving educational problems, and infrastructure development programs that evenly so that the Seteluk Village community can hone their skills and knowledge.

Abstract

Basic Competencies of Sociology subjects in SMA/MA show the potential for developing local wisdom-based learning as an effort to strengthen students' character. For this reason, it is necessary to prepare learning tools, in the form of textbooks which should also be in accordance with the needs for achieving the intended KD. The textbooks referred to in fact have not been developed by Sociology teachers at SMA/MA in North Lombok. Therefore, a research was conducted with the aim of producing a local wisdom-based sociology textbook that could be implemented as an effort to strengthen the character of SMA/MA students in North Lombok. For this reason, development research was carried out with activity stages, namely needs analysis, drafting of textbooks, validation tests by a team of experts, and revisions. The results of the study show that textbooks based on local wisdom are needed because they are a necessity to help students achieve the predetermined KD. Textbooks based on local wisdom of the people of North Lombok are also not yet available. This makes Sociology learning in SMA/MA in North Lombok not contextual, and does not contribute to strengthening students' character. Based on the needs analysis, a draft textbook for class XII semester II which consists of two chapters is drawn up according to the number of KD knowledge that is targeted to be achieved in that semester. The innovation in the textbook is to integrate the local wisdom of the people of North Lombok to illustrate the various existing materials, so that the material in the textbook is interesting, easy to understand and meaningful, which is not only building knowledge but also as an effort to strengthen character. The results of expert assessments of textbooks are very good and are ready to be tested for their effectiveness, which is planned for the next stage of research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Bentuk Eskploitasi seksual komersial anak di Desa Senteluk Kecamatan Batulayar KabupatenLombok Barat; dan (2) Pola pendampingan Yayasan Galang Anak Semesta (GAGAS) dalam pencegahan Eskploitasi seksual komersial anak di Desa Senteluk Kecamatan Batulayar Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus. Teknikpengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan (1) Bentuk Eksploitasi SeksualKomersial Anak di Desa Senteluk Kecamatan Batulayar Kabupaten Lombok Barat, yaitu: a) Pornografi Anak ; b) Pelacuran Anak ; c)Perdaganagan Anak; d) Pariwisata Seks Anak; dan e) Pernikahan dibawah usia anak. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui faktor penyebab anak kecanduan game online di kelurahan Suryawangi kecamatan Labuhan Haji; 2) Mengetahui pola penanganan orang tua mengatasi kecanduan game online pada anak di kelurahan Suryawangi kecamatan Labuhan Haji. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu primer dan sekunder. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah subjek dan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan: 1) Faktor penyebab kecanduan game online yaitu: a. Faktor lingkungan sosial meliputi teman yang datang ke rumahnya untuk bermain game bersama, diberikan fasilitas oleh orang tua berupa Smartphone dan WIFI yang dipasangkan di rumahnya, tersedianya koneksi internet, mengikuti video yang ditonton. b. Faktor psikologis meliputi perasaan senang ketika bermain, Bosan, gelisah. 2) Pola penanganan orang tua mengatasi anak kecanduan game online di Kelurahan Suryawangi Kecamatan Labuhan Haji adalah represif meliputi Menyita Hp (smartphone) yang digunakan. Pengendalian persuasif meliputi Menasihati, Menegur agar berhenti bermain. Pengendalian koersif meliputi memarahi, membentak dan mengomeli. dan pengendalian kuratif meliputi menatap terus menerus sampai berhenti bermain.
