Abstract

Evaluation of the Zoning System Policy in the Admission of New Students (PPDB) at State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 AbiansemalThe zoning system policy in its implementation at SMPN 1 Abiansemal has problems, web is difficult to open during the school selection process by students and since the implementation of the school zoning system it has been difficult to find students who have different academic achievements from when admitting students through the TPA route. This shows that it is necessary to evaluate the zoning system policy. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the zoning system policy in the Admission of New Students at SMPN 1 Abiansemal in terms of equal access and quality of education, as well as to find supporting factors and obstacles to the implementation of zoning system policies at SMPN 1 Abiansemal.The research method used is qualitative research methods. The results showed that the zoning system policy was not implemented effectively and efficiently. And it has not been able to create equal access and equal quality in the Admission of New Students at SMPN 1 Abiansemal, because the zoning has not been carried out evenly and there has been a decline in the quality of schools. Supporting factors of the implementation of the zoning system policy in the Admission of New Students at SMPN 1 Abiansemal, including coordination of the office and the school principal, and having SOPs and technical guidelines for implementing zoning system policies in new student admissions at SMPN 1 Abiansemal. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Zoning system policy at SMPN 1 Abiansemal include lack of facilities and infrastructure, lack of human resources, limiting the number of quotas and zoning based on the address of the banjar, and pressure from school external parties.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has become a global trend today,including the digitalization of the government sector, which is better known as electronic government(E-Government) or Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE). SPBE developmentby a governmentinstitution aims to improve information and service connectivity quickly and efficiently, not only betweeninstitutions but also with the public as users of public services. The year 2022 is the beginningimplementation of SAKTI Full Module namely the Institutional Level Financial Application System forthe APBN Management Work Unit, with integrated database, including including the Financial andDevelopment Supervisory Board (BPKP). This study seeks to examine the application of SAKTI inmanaging state finances, and to find out whether system quality,information quality, and service qualitysupport user satisfaction, individual performance, and provide benefits to the organization. This studyused a qualitative method, by conducting interviewswith employees, focus group discussion,literaturestudy and document review, and observing the implementation of SAKTI for the 2022 fiscal year at theBali Province BPKP Representative Office.The results showed that system quality, information quality,and service quality very well support state financial management from the budgeting stage, budgetexecution, to financial reporting. Thesuggestions given included improving SAKTI's performance suchas updating application features, validation mechanisms, increasing SAKTI's server capacity andincreasing the competence of financial managers through integrated training.

Abstract

Increasing the competence of graduates is a significant problem in the evaluation of study programs related to the absorption of graduates in the world of work. This problem can be answered by implementing an innovative internship program and collaborating with various partners. The stipulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards, which regulates apprenticeship as a form of learning outside the classroom, aims to provide practical experience to students and reduce the low absorption of graduates in the world of business and industry. This research examines the evaluation of the certified apprenticeship program in the 2019 Public Administration Undergraduate Study Program, which is analyzed using evaluation theory (Dunn), which includes six indicators: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, alignment, responsiveness, and accuracy. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results showed that things need to be improved, especially in terms of efficiency. This research contributes to the importance of commitment and attention to study programs in collaborating with stakeholders to improve the quality of graduates through internship programs. Suggestions for this research are the need to increase collaboration with external parties related to apprenticeship activities to expand the apprentice network. In addition, it is necessary to increase street vendor guidance activities between supervisors and street vendor students, which are carried out intensively.
