Abstract

Syntax is concerned with how sentences are constructed. Language users employ a unique variation that allows for the formation of elements in sentences. Subject, verb, object, complement, and adverb are some sentence structure components that catch the attention of syntax. This research will concentrate on objects, particularly cognate objects, among the many sentence structures studied from syntax. Although the Japanese language has a cognate object similar to English, there is a slight difference. This is because the object comes before the predicate in the Japanese sentence pattern. As a result, this paper will look at how cognate object forms in Japanese. Some of the facts in the discussion suggest that the cognate object in Japanese is significantly different from the cognate object in English. This is due to the non-referential and non-accusative nature of the cognate object in Japanese. In Japanese, cognate object forms based on verbs have nearly the same qualities as verbs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process and types of formation of wakamono kotoba on Natsuki Hanae's Youtube channel. The theory used in this study is the theory of wakamono kotoba word formation proposed by Akihiro Yonekawa. The data source used in this study is the primary data source obtained from the Natsuki Hanae Youtube video channel using the listen method. The data obtained were then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be seen that in the online video game Youtube channel Natsuki Hanae found three types and the process of formingwakamono kotoba, namely the formation of the word "Shouryaku" is the process of forming words by eliminating some parts of the vocabulary so that it becomes more complex. In short, in word formation, "Konkou" is a word formation process by combining two or more words into one word and "Shouryaku" type “Fukugou go san kasho ijou o shouryaku” is the eliminates two to three parts in a compound word consisting of two basic words.

Abstract

This research is about the style of language and diction in the lyrics of the song Marigold by Aimyon. The data used were obtained from the lyrics of a song by Aimyon entitled Marigold. The purpose of this research is to find out and understand the use of style of language and diction in the lyrics of Aimyon's Marigold song. The theory used is the stylistic theory by Burhan Nurgiyantoro (2014). Data collection methods and techniques used, namely obeservation method. Meanwhile, the data analysis methods and techniques used were descriptive qualitative methods. Methods of presentation of data analysis results using informal methods. The results of this research there are 2 style and 6 dictions contained in the lyrics of the analyzed songs. The style contained in this song consists of 1 hyperbole, 1 repetition, 5 denotative diction, and 1 connotative diction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of social conflict contained in the film. The data source used in this thesis is a film entitled Beyond Outrage directed by Kitano Takeshi and released in 2012. This thesis is analyzed using the social conflict theory proposed by Lewis A. Coser. Data collection methods and techniques used in this thesis are the method of listening to the advanced technique of note-taking. Data analysis methods and techniques were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. Meanwhile, methods and techniques for presenting the results of data analysis using informal methods. The results of the analysis in this thesis, it is found that social conflict consists of two types of social conflict with a total of 4 data. The types of social conflicts are, there are realistic conflicts (2 data) and non-realistic conflicts (2 data).

Abstract

Film Spirited away memiliki lima tahapan plot yaitu eksposisi, rising action, klimaks, falling action, dan resolusi. Eksposisi adalah tahap pengenalan, memperkenalkan tokoh Chihiro yang memiliki sifat penakut, Haku yang suka menolong, dan Yubaba yang jahat. Rising action adalah munculnya konflik yaitu saat orang tua Chihiro berubah menjadi babi yang membuat Chihiro harus tinggal dan mencari cara untuk mengembalikan orang tuanya. Klimaks adalah puncak dari konflik klimaks di film ini terjadi saat Chihiro harus pergi ketempat saudari kembar Yubaba untuk mengembalikan barang yang di curi oleh Haku agar Haku bisa selamat. Resolusi atau ending film terjadi saat Chihiro berhasil menang dari tantangan yang di berikan Yubaba dan berhasil mengembalikan orang tuanya seperti semula.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and examine the inner conflict experienced by the main character Kageyama Shigeo in the anime Mob Psycho 100. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and the data source comes from the anime Mob Psycho 100, the theory of inner conflict developed by Sigmund Freud (1923) will be applied to analyze the data collected in this research. This research uses the listen-and-note method to collect data. And, qualitative descriptive methods are applied to examine data analysis methods and techniques. The results of the research show that the analysis of three structures of inner conflict, namely id, ego, and superego, is used to analyze the inner conflict experienced by the main character Kageyama Shigeo.

Abstract

Campur kode adalah pencampuran dua bahasa atau lebih dalam suatu tuturan. Pencampuran bahasa terjadi karena adanya kebiasaan yang dimiliki penutur dan kerap terjadi dalam situasi informal. Campur kode sendiri sering ditemukan di sekitar kita baik secara langsung maupun berupa video dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan campur kode dalam salah satu video blog pada chanel YouTube “Ueno Family”. Pada chanel YouTube ini berisikan video keseharian salah satu warga Negara Indonesia yang menikah dengan pria Berkebangsaan Jepang yang saat ini tinggal di Jepang. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan campur kode yang terjadi dalam video blog YouTube chanel “Ueno Family”. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan campur kode yang terjadi dalam video blog pada YouTube chanel “Ueno Family”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah salah satu video dalamYouTube chanel “Ueno Family” yang dimana terdapat penggunaan campur kode di dalam  video tersebut. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik simak dengan cara menonton salah satu video dari YouTube chanel tersebut dan teknik catat yang dimana peneliti mencatat percakapan dalam video tersebut yang di dalamnya mengandung campur kode. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode informal. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya penggunaan campur kode yaitu penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Jepang dalam chanel YouTube Ueno Family yang terjadi karena adanya sebuah kebiasaan dan kesantaian penutur dalam berkomunikasi dengan keluarganya.

Abstract

We could see Bali as an international tourist destination got the impact of globalization from more and more number of foreigners stay, live and work in Bali every year. One of the many foreign residents living in Bali is Japanese, so the needs to master Japanese will benefit Japanese language learners, especially if they are taught from an early age. The teaching team held this program as community service activities at Bali Bestari elementary schhool in Denpasar. The purpose of this activity is as a means of introducing basic level Japanese language and culture to fifth grade students at Bali Bestari Elementary School. The selection of lesson materials is adjusted based on the length of period, students grade and school needs. The lesson materials are vocabulary or sentences that are often used in the daily lives of elementary school students and the school environment. This teaching activity implemented into 4 stages, namely: 1. Observation and interviews, 2. preparation stage, 3. Implementation stage and 4. Monitoring and discussion stage. The results of the activity shows that students are able to say several daily greetings and vocabulary in dailyenvironments and students are able to implement Japanese culture which is demonstrated through attitudes when giving daily greetings and also in daily class activities.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and examine the use of sentences containing souda, youda, rashii in Japanese sentences. The theory used in this research is Prof.'s structural syntax theory. Dr. H. Abdul Muis Ba'dulu, M.S. The data used in writing the article were obtained from Japanese language news sites. Data analysis was performed using descriptive qualitative research techniques. Based on the results of the study it was found that souda, youda, rashii could be used to predict events based on what the speaker felt, saw, and experienced. However, only Souda and Youda can predict something that is based on subjective reasons, while Rashii must use objective reasons when making a guess.
