Abstract

Abstrak Kesiapan kerja yaitu kemampuan seorang individu untuk menyesuaikan diri saat berada di tempat yang baru, Lebih berusaha untuk mempelajari hal-hal yang baru, mampu menghadapi tantang dan menyelesaikan masalah dalam pekerjaan, serta mengenali seberapa besar kapasitas dirinya dalam keilmuan maupun pengetahuan yang terkait dengan pekerjaan tersebut. Pelatihan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui apakah pelatihan kepercayaan diri, efektif dalam mempersiapkan kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, (2) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya (3) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kesiapan kerja pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen, pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Metode Yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan jenis True Eksperimental dan desaint Pretest-Posttest Control Group Desaint. Menggunakan 19 subyek setiap kelompok eksperimen. Pengumpulan data subyek penelitian menggunakan angket yang disusun oleh peneliti. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat efektifitas pelatihan kepercayaan diri terhadap kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai z = 3,281 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,001 (p < 0,05), tidak memiliki perbedaan antara kesiapan kerja laki-laki dan perempuan ditunjukkan dengan nilai z = -0.286 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.775 (p > 0.05). untuk hasil terakhir diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat berbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dengan nilai Asymp.Sig. 0.000 (p < 0.05) sehingga diketahui bahwa kesiapan kerja subyek sangat berpengaruh saat diberikan pelatihan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harga diri, perilaku asertif dengan persepsi terhadap catcalling pada perempuan dewasa awal di Surabaya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 277 perempuan dewasa awal usia 18-25 tahun yang tinggal di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan harga diri, perilaku asertif dengan persepsi terhadap catcalling sebesar rxy= 0,750 dengan sig. 0,000 dimana p < 0,05. Artinya secara simultan (bersama-sama) harga diri dan perilaku asertif memiliki pengaruh terhadap persepsi terhadap catcalling. Secara parsial variabel harga diri dengan persepsi terhadap catcalling diperoleh skor t = -16.435 dengan sig. 0,000 yang dimana p < 0,05. Artinya terdapat hubungan negatif antara harga diri dengan persepsi terhadap catcalling. Secara parsial variabel perilaku asertif dengan persepsi terhadap catcalling diperoleh skor t = -0,365 dengan sig. 0,715 yang dimana p > 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention among employees at private hospitals classified as Type B in Kabupaten X. The background of this research is based on the importance of understanding the factors that influence organizational dynamics in the healthcare sector, particularly in the context of hospitals. This study is expected to provide deeper insights into how job satisfaction affects employees' intentions to leave the organization. Additionally, it aims to offer valuable input to hospital management for designing policies and interventions that enhance employee well-being and strengthen organizational stability in facing existing challenges. The research findings indicate a significant correlation between job satisfaction with the turnover intention of contract employees at private hospitals in Kabupaten X. The hypothesis (H1) states that job satisfaction is negatively and significantly correlated with turnover intention. This research provides an important contribution to understanding the factors that influence turnover intention in the healthcare sector and offers practical recommendations for hospital management to improve job satisfaction to reduce employee turnover intention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perceived social support dan sexual quality of life dengan psychological well being pada wanita pre menopause di kecamatan Kenjeran kota Surabaya. Penelitian inimenggunakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 350 wanita dengan rentan usia 45 - 55tahun yang tinggal di Kecamatan Kenjeran, Kota Surabaya, yang dipilih melalui teknik acidental sampling. Hasil penelitian pada uji simultan memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,131 (p>0,05). Artinya bahwa perceived social support dan sexual quality of life tidak berpengaruh terhadap psychological well being. Secara uji parsial, perceived social support dengan psychological well being memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 1,023 (p>0,05) dansexual quality of life dengan psychological well being memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar -1,787 (p>0,05). Artinya tidak ada hubungan, perceived social support dengan psychological well being serta tidak adanya hubungan sexualquality of life dengan psychological well being.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between Intolerance of Uncertainty (IU) and future anxiety among Gen Z, considering family support as a mediator. IU is defined as an individual's inability to cope with negative responses arising from a lack of critical information, exacerbated by uncertainty. Future anxiety refers to feelings of fear, worry, and unease about undesirable possibilities, while family support involves attitudes of acceptance and assistance among family members. The study employs a quantitative correlational method with 348 Gen Z respondents in Surabaya as the research subjects.The findings reveal that family support serves as a mediator in the indirect relationship between IU and future anxiety (z = 2.661, p = 0.008). Additionally, a significant direct relationship exists between IU and future anxiety, where higher IU corresponds to greater future anxiety among Gen Z (z = 5.611, p = 0.001). A negative relationship is found between IU and family support, indicating that increased IU reduces family support (z = -2.798, p = 0.005). Meanwhile, family support is significantly associated with reduced future anxiety (z =-8.633, p = 0.001).These findings highlight the crucial role of family support in mitigating the impact of IU on future anxiety, providing valuable insights for interventions aimed at improving the psychological well-being of Gen Z.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain whether self-control is a moderator of the influence of schadenfreude on bullying behavior. Quantitative research methodology was used in this study. Students in junior high schools from all over Surabaya became the study population. Purposive sampling was used for sampling. The number of samples obtained was 366 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the classic assumption test and path analysis. The results showed that self-control is able to mediate the effect of schandenfreud on bullying behavior, self-control with bullying behavior has a significant relationship, schandenfreud with bullying behavior has a significant relationship, and schandenfreud with self-control has a significant relationship. This study can enrich existing educational psychology theories regarding the influence of schadenfreude on the tendency of bullying behavior, and explain how self-control becomes a moderating variable in the influence of schadenfreude on bullying behavior.

Abstract

General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) can occurs in adolescence which can cause uncontrolled feelings of worry about various situations or daily activities. This study aims to examine Generalized Anxiety Disorder (CBT) in reducing GAD based on gender. Respondents in this study were junior high school students at school X. A total of 23 respondents (10 males and 13 females) met the criteria. This study used the one group pretest-posttest design method. The instrument was the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The hypothesis test uses Paired Sample T-test with the result p = 0.001 (p <0.05). This shows a significant decrease in anxiety in both male and female adolescents after being given CBT. Based on gender, female adolescents have greater anxiety than males. After being given CBT, both have the same decrease in anxiety.

Abstract

The importance of economic factors in a family encourages individuals to work hard to do everything necessary to fulfill some of their needs, one of which is to remain resilient to earn a living in the midst of bad air pollution in the capital city. This study aims to determine the relationship between adaptation and family support with resilience in workers in the city of Jakarta. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach, with purposive sampling technique, where sampling is based on predetermined criteria. The data collection method uses a resilience scale, adaptation scale, and family support scale. The subjects in this study amounted to 360 people who worked in the city of Jakarta. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a significant relationship between adaptation and family support with resilience in workers in the city of Jakarta.
