Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Campina Ice Cream Industry, Tbk., an ice cream manufacturer listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, during the period 2016–2025 with a focus on the 2017–2025 range. The research method used is qualitative descriptive by combining financial ratio analysis and SWOT analysis. Secondary data is obtained from the company's annual reports as well as official financial statements. The ratios studied include liquidity ratio (current ratio), solvency ratio (debt to asset ratio), profitability ratio (net profit margin and return on equity), and activity ratio (total asset turnover). Trend analysis is done through various visualizations such as line charts, bar charts, stacked bar charts, waterfall charts, heatmaps, and key performance indicators (KPI) dashboards. The results show that the company has very strong liquidity and is free of long-term bank debt since 2018, reflecting a conservative capital structure. Profitability peaked in 2023, but declined in the following period due to rising operating expenses and raw material prices, despite continued sales growth. The SWOT analysis identified weaknesses in the form of idle production assets and high dependence on the two main modern retail distributors. The study's conclusions confirm that the company's main challenge is to convert sustainable sales growth into higher net profit through cost efficiency and asset optimization.

Abstract

Indonesia's Islamic financial industry continues to expand, yet Islamic fintech's contribution to that growth remains fragmented across separate strands of literature. This study analyzes the growth pattern of Islamic fintech in Indonesia and its contribution to the development of the national Islamic financial industry. The study applies a descriptive qualitative library research method, synthesizing 43 secondary sources consisting of Sinta-indexed journal articles published within the last five years, reference books published within the last ten years, and official statistical reports from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance (KNEKS). The results show that Islamic fintech drives Islamic financial industry growth mainly through expanded MSME financing access, although annual asset growth slowed from 19.52 percent in 2023 to 8.56 percent in 2025, and the Islamic capital market still dominates 86 percent of total sharia financial assets, leaving banking and non-bank sharia financial institutions comparatively underdeveloped.

Abstract

Regional economic performance is commonly measured through the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). GRDP growth accelerates when a region has a superior sector, also called a basic sector, that grows fast and competes strongly with the same sector in other regions. A sector reaches this status when local government turns available opportunities into productive outcomes. This study identifies the superior and potential sectors in Dumai City, Riau Province, so that the local government can prioritize regional development policy. The study applies Static Location Quotient (SLQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) to sectoral GRDP data from 2018 and 2022. Results show that all sectors in Dumai City still have an SLQ below one, meaning no sector has yet reached basic-sector status under the static measure. However, eight sectors show a DLQ above one and can be classified as potential sectors: Manufacturing; Electricity and Gas Supply; Water Supply, Waste and Recycling Management; Construction; Transportation and Warehousing; Real Estate; Government Administration, Defense and Compulsory Social Security; and Other Services. The remaining nine sectors, including Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery and Mining and Quarrying, remain lagging sectors that need stronger policy support to raise their competitiveness.
