Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the continued development of science and technology. This means that the interpretation of the Qur'an which is stagnant must continue because it is given the dynamic Koran. Recently discovered that the brain does not act as a pain receptor felt by the body but the skin. Surprisingly, this was explained by the Koran long before the discovery of that discovery. In the Koran an-Nisa 'verse 56 explained that the time will come when people who reject the religion of God will be put into hell and tortured in the form of skin changes. when evidenced by the very combustion process, the sensory nerve endings will be damaged. This results in the skin no longer being able to receive stimulation. Therefore, in hell God replaces the skin of the inhabitants of hell with a new skin which is intended to renew sensory nerve endings so that they feel the torments of hell again. The purpose of this study is to harmonize by presenting scientific evidence as a means of supporting interpretation. This study uses a qualitative research model which in its presentation uses descriptive-analysis techniques. This research is based on the scientific interpretation theory. Data collection was carried out using library research techniques in the form of interpretation books, science books and books that have a correlation with this research. The results of this study are the findings of science have been written in the Koran. Basically when the skin is burned, there will be three phases of change in the skin, namely first bruising, then feeling severe pain, and finally numbness because the sensory nerve endings in the skin have been damaged.

Abstract

This research departs from the problem of the ideology of radicalism that developed in Indonesia. The ideology of radicalism in its spread through social media targets many young people as their targets. This is evidenced by the presence of several young people who participated in becoming sympathizers of terrorism and even carried out acts of terror on the basis of religion. The subject of this research is the Young Interfaith Peacemaker Community (YIPC) organization and the object is the YIPC program that can be used to spread counter radicalism narratives. The objectives of this research are: exploring the YIPC program in spreading counter radicalism narratives, analyzing the manifestations of the YIPC Program in spreading counter radicalism narratives, and exploring the Role of YIPC in spreading counter radicalism narratives. This research is qualitative research analyzed descriptively. Data was collected through field observations, interviews, and documents relating to the YIPC program as primary sources and books, journals, magazines, and internet information as secondary sources. The results of this study indicate that YIPC has a role as a forum and interfaith youth facilitator who concentrates on the concept of peace education and interfaith dialogue based on the scriptures to build peace through peaceful cadres by spreading fourteen basic values of peace aimed at reducing radicalism and ideological intolerance.

Abstract

This research departs from the rampant narrative of intolerance in Indonesia, both distributed through social media and direct doctrine. A Common Word which is a response in the form of an open letter to Pope Benedict XVI's controversial statement regarding Islam which was agreed upon by 138 Muslim intellectuals and leaders in the world can be applied as a narrative of religious tolerance in Indonesia as a counter to radical doctrine. This study seeks to explore the values ​​contained in the A Common Word document that can be offered as a narrative of religious tolerance in Indonesia. This research is qualitative research based on the study of the text which is then presented descriptively. The findings in this study indicate that the values ​​contained in A Common Word such as clarification of prejudice, peace, justice, and love can be used as references for the tolerance movement, especially applying the Islamic values ​​of rahmatan lil alamin in Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to provide a critical exploration and conceptual summary of the broad academic landscape regarding the implementation of religious moderation that has been carried out in Indonesia, especially during the Covid-19 period. This study used the systematic literature review (SLR) method and found 887 articles relevant to the theme of religious moderation between 2020 and 2022. After screening, 28 articles were found, which were then reviewed. Qualitative theme analysis was then carried out using the NVivo 12 Plus software based on the specified articles. This study found that during the period 2020-2022, only 28 empirical studies from 887 published research regarding the implementation of religious moderation during the Covid-19 period in Indonesia. Most research locations were found in Central Java Province, with a literature percentage of 25%. The trend was mainly carried out in 2021, with a ratio of 53.57%, and was dominated by qualitative research, with a percentage of 96.42%. Moreover, this study found two themes: religious moderation activities (n=14) with nine sub-themes and religious moderation education (n=14) with seven sub-themes. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions as an offer in policy-making for implementing religious moderation in Indonesia and shows various sub-themes of religious moderation that can be carried out in future research.Keywords : Religious Moderation; Covid-19; Systematic Literature Review

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to get a comprehensive understanding of the socio-political status of Muslim individuals inside non-Muslim majority countries. Specifically, it wants to examine the various hurdles Muslims encounter in these contexts and the tactics they employ to navigate and surmount these obstacles. This research explores the surrounding community’s reactions and attitudes toward Muslims’ political engagements. The research method employed in this study is qualitative, utilizing a library research approach to gather data. The data is collected through an extensive review of pertinent literature. The study’s findings indicate that Muslims actively and strategically engage in local politics to achieve integration while preserving their religious identity. Despite encountering prejudice and discrimination, many individuals adhering to the Islamic faith have successfully surmounted these obstacles by establishing support networks and engaging in collaborative efforts with various groups. The responses of society towards Muslim engagement have exhibited a range of outcomes, with interfaith education and discussion emerging as useful strategies in fostering comprehension and acceptance. In conclusion, the active participation of Muslims in municipal politics holds the potential to engender constructive transformations and foster a culture characterized by inclusivity.

Abstract

This study departs from the problem of handling the Covid-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic in Indonesia. In its history, during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. There was a pandemic tha’un and found various ways of handling the Prophet Muhammad in dealing with tha’un in the hadith literature. The subject of this research is the Hadith of the Prophet written in the book of hadith and the object of this research is the hadith which explains about tha’un. The purpose of this study is to find the contextualization of the hadith about tha’un as a reference for dealing with Covid-19 in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with a type of library research. The findings of this study are the result of contextualization of the hadith about tha’un with the state of the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia which states that the handling of Covid-19 must be done by doing a combination of strict restrictions on the rules of entry and exit of areas affected by Covid-19 and conducting physical distancing by taking into account the stabilization of important sectors in Indonesia.
