Abstract

This research aims to find out the process of the turun duwai ritual on Begawi in Lampung Pepadun Society in Komering Putih, Central Lampung. The method used in this research is descriptive, using observation and interview as the data collecting techniques. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis technique. The result showed that the process of turun duwai is divided into three steps: the preparation, the implementation and the completion of the ritual turun duwai held by Lampung Pepadun Society in Komering Putih, Central Lampung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja proses pada pelaksanaan adat turun duwai dalam upacara begawi pada masyarakat Lampung Pepadun di Kampung Komering Putih Kabupaten Lampung Tengah . Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil yang didapat oleh peneliti yaitu bahwa proses pelaksanaan adat turun duwai dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu: diawali dengan tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penyelesaian kegiatan adat turun duwai yang dilaksanakan Masyarakat Lampung Pepadun di Kampung Komering Putih Kabupaten Lampung Tengah.Kata Kunci: adat turun duwai, proses pelaksanaan, upacara begawi

Abstract

A few of meta-analysis studies regarding the intervention of cooperative learning have been conducted. However, it has not been performed on the studies related to the intervention of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning for Indonesian students’ reading literacy. This study aims to approximate and examine the effect of CIRC learning on students’ reading literacy ability across group size of intervention, educational level, and geographical location. A meta-analysis was performed to conduct this study. The search of document using the database of Google Scholar found 97 documents. The selection of document established 10 documents published from 2015–2021 consisting of one conference paper and nine journal articles. Hedges’ equation was employed to measure the effect size. The data analysis used the Z test and Q Cochrane test. The results revealed that the CIRC learning had a strong positive effect (g=2.041; p<0.05) on students’ reading literacy ability. It indicates that the CIRC learning is effective for enhancing students’ reading literacy ability. Furthermore, some moderating factors such as group size of intervention, educational level, and geographical location did not affect students’ heterogeneous reading literacy ability. This study suggests language teachers to use the CIRC learning in enhancing students’ reading literacy ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara literasi digital dan etika digital dalam pendidikan di era society 5.0 dengan dasar aksiologi sebagai landasan ilmu. Dalam penelitian ini, aksiologi berperan sebagai pedoman moral dan etika yang mengarahkan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan fenomenologi kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami bagaimana perspektif Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Malang menyelaraskan literasi digital dan etika digital dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki literasi digital tinggi dapat mengintegrasikan etika digital dalam aktivitas akademik mereka. Penerapan literasi digital dan etika digital berbasis aksiologi di pendidikan tinggi sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa sebagai pengguna teknologi yang tidak hanya kompeten secara teknis, tetapi juga bertanggung jawab secara etis. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting dalam memahami bagaimana literasi digital dan etika digital yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai aksiologi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era society 5.0.

Abstract

Analysis of Symbolic Meaning in Drama Scripts and Its Implications in Indonesian Language Learning for Class X Senior High School Students. Objective: This study aims to describe the symbolic meaning of the drama script and its implications for learning Indonesian for class X students. Methods: The analysis of symbolic meaning and its implications uses the eclectic method and the Semiotics perspective of Charles Sanders Pierce. Findings: The results of the study indicate that there is a symbolic meaning that shows a shift in the type of lexical meaning following the meaning of its social function in the drama script. The symbolic meaning is relevant to the learning objectives in Basic Competencies 3.6 Understanding the types of purpose and Basic Competencies 4.6 Using the kinds of importance in sentences.
