Abstract

This research was conducted to determine: differences in learning outcomes between teaching history using TAI and TGT models. The method used is the quasi-experimental design. The results showed: (1) there are differences in learning outcomes interoperability and between models early history, (2) there are differences in learning outcomes between teaching history using TAI and TGT models, (3) there are differences in learning outcomes between the ability of the early history of the high and low; (4) no interaction between models learning with prior knowledge of the student learning outcomes, (5) no difference in the average outcomes study history using the TGT model of TAI and capable students who start high, (6) there was no difference in average learning outcomes history by using a model of TAI and TGT on initial low-capable students.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model TAI dan TGT. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan desain eksperimental semu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antarmodel dan antarkemampuan awal; (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model TAI dan TGT; (3) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah; (4) ada interaksi antarmodel pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal terhadap hasil belajar siswa; (5) ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah dengan menggunakan model TAI dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal tinggi; (6) tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah dengan menggunakan model TAI dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal rendah.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, kemampuan awal, hasil belajar

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand constructions of history of K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari struggle and thinking. This research used qualitative method and literary study approach. The results showed that the construction of the history of K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari’s struggle and thinking combined the concepts of nationalism and religion to struggle for Indonesian freedom. K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari deserved a title of religious nationalist struggler because his struggle was accommodative without abandoning principles al-Qur’an and Hadits. The construction about his thinking emphasized the improvement of moral and virtues by conducting all Islamic tenets according to al-Qur’an and Hadits. His educational thinking related to the essence of Islamic education and the method of Islamic education emphasizing on the virtue of education and etiquette; the etiquette of learners and educator to achieve the expected education.Keywords:  K.H. Abstract

The correlation of value orientations in the teaching of history to increase critical thinking skills and social sensitivity of students.This is a quantitative research, data collection technique used was a questionnaire scale 4 (four), to obtain data on critical thinking skills and social sensitivity, as well as in the form of essay questions to get the orientation of the value of teaching history. The results conclude that : (1) students’ critical thinking skills provide a positive and significant effect on the value orientation of teaching history at 0.957, (2) social sensitivity gives students a postive and significant effect on the value orientation of teaching history at 0,972, (3) The influence of students critical thinking skills of students’ social sensitivity are positive and significant at 0.965, (4) There is a positive and significant correlation between the orientation of history teaching values with increasing critical thinking skills and social sensitivity of 1,699.Keywords: critical thinking skills, social sensitivity, orientation value in learning history

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine: differences in the history of student learning outcomes through the learning model examples and non-examples picture and picture, the difference between the initial capability of high, medium, and low on the history of student learning outcomes, differences in learning outcomes antarmodel students learning history and inter initial capabilities, the interaction between the model of learning with students' prior knowledge, and a more effective learning model between the model of learning examples and non-examples picture and picture. The results showed: there are differences in the history of student learning outcomes through the learning model examples and non-examples picture and picture, there is a difference between the initial capabilities of high, medium, and low on the history of student learning outcomes, no difference in outcome learn the history of student learning and inter antar model initial capabilities, there is no interaction between the model of learning with students' prior knowledge, and learning model examples non examples is more effective than learning model picture and picture.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah siswa melalui model pembelajaran examples non examples dan picture and picture, perbedaan antara kemampuan awal tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa, perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah siswa antarmodel pembelajaran dan antartingkat kemampuan awal, interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal siswa, dan model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif antara model pembelajaran examples non examples dan picture and picture. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah siswa melalui model pembelajaran examples non examples dan picture and picture; ada perbedaan antara kemampuan awal tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa; ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah siswa antarmodel pembelajaran dan antartingkat kemampuan awal, tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal siswa, dan model pembelajaran examples non examples lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran picture and picture.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, kemampuan awal, hasil belajar

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning model of Searching Information Skill (SIS), to know the effectivitiveness of Searching Information Skill (SIS) model.  This developing research used Borg and Gall model with five steps or phases. The result of this research showed that; In developing learning model of Searching Information Skill, by adding learning steps in the beginning activity by performing learning video or printed and electronic media as a source of learning besides sources appeared in Learning Implementation Planning (RPP), through material expertise validation, the design expert of Social Studies teacher scoring learning as the user and the students. The model of Searching Information Skill was effectively used in Social Studies learning, and also highest score increase from 82 to 92. Besides, there was also an increase on pretest score from the highest 44 to 92 or an increase of 85%  of  students  who completed on Basic Competency of Understanding Social Institutions.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model pembelajaran Searching Information Skill (SIS), mengetahui efektifitas model Searching Information Skill (SIS). Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall dengan lima langkah atau tahapan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Dalam mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran Searching Information Skill, dengan menambahkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran pada kegiatan awal yaitu dengan penayangan video pembelajaran atau media cetak dan elektronik sebagai sumber belajar selain nara sumber yang tertuang dalam RPP, dengan melalui validasi ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran penilaian guru IPS sebagai pengguna dan siswa. Model pembelajaran Searching Information Skill efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS, serta peningkatan nilai tertinggi dari 82 menjadi 92. Selain itu juga ada peningkatan nilai pretes dari tertinggi 44 menjadi 92 atau peningkatan sebesar 85% siswa yang tuntas pada KD Memahami Pranata Sosial.Kata kunci: pembelajaran IPS, pengembangan model, searching information skill

Abstract

Iraq After U.S. Invasion. Iraq after the U.S. Invasion of the country experienced a variety of changes in the social, economic, and political as a result of the U.S. war with Iraq. The identification of the problem of this research is How the social changes in Iraq because of the U.S. invasion. The purposes of this research to know the social changes in Iraq because of the U.S. invasion. The research used data collection techniques and technical. The methods of this research were historical method. The result of the research that has been discussed, social changes in post-invasion Iraq such as the conflict between Sunni and Syiah,  the moral decline of the people of Iraq. Conflicts between Syiah and Sunny groups and Kurdish, in which three groups trying to get the seats of power to Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. Irak Pasca Invasi AS. Pasca invasi AS negara Irak mengalami berbagai macam perubahan, baik perubahan sosial, ekonomi, dan politik sebagai akibat dari perang antara AS dengan Irak. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah perubahan sosial di Irak akibat  invasi AS. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui perubahan sosial di Irak akibat invasi AS. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data kepustakaan dan teknik dokumentasi yang terdapat dalam Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung dan Perpustakaan Daerah Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian historis. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah di bahas maka, perubahan sosial yang muncul di Irak pasca invasi diantaranya adalah adanya konflik antara Sunni dan Syiah, merosotnya moral rakyat Irak dan merajalelanya perkembangan terorisme di Irak pasca invasi Amerika Serikat di Irak. konflik antara kelompok Syiah dan Sunni serta Kurdi, yang mana ketiga kelompok tersebut berlomba untuk memperebutkan kursi kekuasaan di Irak. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the cause factor of obstacle in the implementation of 2013 curriculum in SMA Bandar Lampung. The method in this research was qualitative research method. Data collecting, techniques used were interview sheets and questionnaire while for data analysis used descriptive analysis. The cause factors of the obstacle of the implementation 2013 curriculum in history learning was the result of the teacher training which was taught to the teacher in SMA in Bandar Lampung was not maximal. Most of teachers stated that the materials about concept of 2013 curriculum were not explained clearly, and the students which were not ready about scientific learning model yet.Tujuaan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terhambatnya penerapan Kurikulum 2013 terhadap guru Tingkat SMA di BandarLampung. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar wawancara dan angket sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriftif. Faktor penyebab terhambatnya penerapan Kurikulum 2013 terhadap guru tingkat SMA adalah tidak maksimalnya hasil pelatihan yang diperoleh oleh guru tingkat SMA di Bandar Lampung, sebagian besar guru menyatakan materi tentang konsep kurikulum 2013 belum tersampaikan dengan jelas, dan ketidak siapan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran saintifik.Kata kunci: faktor, kurikulum 2013, guru tingkat SMA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the factors cause the collapse of the Byzantine Empire (Eastern Roman). This research uses historical method by doing steps heuristics, critique, interpretation and historiography. Then the collection of data in this study by using techniques of librarianship and documentation. Analytical techniques descriptive data used is kualitiatif which includes the preparation of data, classification data, data processing and data a false assertion. Based on the results of the study, factors that led to the collapse of the Byzantine Empire was caused by two factors, namely the internal factors and external factors. Internal factors cause the collapse that is split between the Church and the external factors caused the widespread expansion of Islam into the region of Western Europe.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab runtuhnya kekaisaran Bizantium (Romawi Timur). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis dengan melakukan langkah-langkah heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Kemudian pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitiatif yang meliputi penyusunan data, klasifikasi data, pengolahan data dan penyimpulan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, faktor yang menyebabkan runtuhnya kekaisaran Bizantium disebabkan oleh dua faktor, yakni faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal penyebab runtuhnya yaitu perpecahan antar gereja dan faktor eksternal disebabkan meluasnya ekspansi Islam ke wilayah Eropa Barat.Kata kunci: bizantium, eropa barat, gereja

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the Public Perceptions about Traditional Marriage Ceremony Panggih in Java Village District of Buay Bahuga Sritunggal Way Kanan. The method used was descriptive method with qualitative approach. The results showed that the public perception of marriage ceremony Panggih through three domains, namely knowledge, understanding and experience. In fact this time the only a small part that still preserved the cultural heritage of ancestors, because the whole society had changed in terms of implementation, it was happened because of several factors. Those were factors of education, religion, modernization, it still held the reduced the equipment or series of the ceremony.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Upacara Panggih dalam Perkawinan Adat Jawa di Desa Sritunggal Kecamatan Buay Bahuga Kabupaten Way Kanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat tentang Upacara Panggih melalui 3 ranah yaitu Pengetahuan, Pemahaman, Pengalaman. Pada kenyataanya saat ini masyarakat hanya sebagian kecil yang masih melestarikan warisan budaya nenek moyang, karena secara keseluruhan masyarakat telah mengalami perubahan yaitu dalam segi pelaksanaanya, disebabkan karna beberapa faktor yaitu faktor pendidikan, agama, modernisasi, jika masih dilaksanakan masyarakat telah melakukan pengurangan terhadap peralatan ataupun rangkaian upacara tersebut.Kata kunci: masyarakat, panggih, persepsi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out "whether there is an improvement or no improvement on cognitive learning outcome in History subject for students of class XI Social Sciences at Senior High School 1 Punggur academic year of 2016/2017 after taught using Quantum Teaching model". The method used in this research was experimental research method with The One-Shot Case Study design. The data collection was done through testings. The data was calculated manually using the percentage formula. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an improvement in students' learning outcome after taught using Quantum Teaching model.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Ada atau tidak ada peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif pada mata pelajaran sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Punggur Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 setelah menggunakan model Quantum Teaching. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain The One-Shot Case Study. Pengumpulan data dilakukandengan test. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya diolah secara manual menggunakan rumus presentase. Hasilanalisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasilbelajar sejarah siswa setelah menggunakan model Quantum Teaching.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, penerapan, quantum teaching
