Abstract

The times changing. Thus also change the dynamics of human life. And in these changes, contains elements call for disciples of Christ to carry out the testimony of the Gospel and the truth. Catholic teachers and employees are called to bear witness to the Gospel through their concrete life. The call to duty and they need to learn from Jesus himself as an exemplary witness. And this, faith in Jesus becomes the basis of which strengthen them to be witnesses ofthe Gospel. Being a witness to the Gospel, first of all directed towards integral human safety. To support these efforts, need to be presented through live testimony is relevant in the context of the student. Teachers and employees of Catholic at schools, are called to take action testimony. This action not only covers the areas of teaching and the work of a rigid, or limited formal responsibilities, but also the field of witness of life (good deeds). With her they also serve the students and their context. The focus is not on science, but students with all ofits dimensions.

Abstract

In the book of Daniel, there are nine prophetic values that can set as examples for catechists who work in the schools. Among them are: fa ith in God, praise and loving God, pray, Faithfull in service, doing a simple life in the midst of the luxury world, living in honest way, open to the media, had a wide view to the world, and optimism. The services of the catechists in schools can be said to be good so far. But there are still some of catechists who still find difficult to live in the prophetic values based on the Book of Daniel. This happens for many reasons. One of among the reasons is that there are some catechists still doubt for their own faith. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the catechists who work in the schools have to further explore and integrate the prophetic values as persisted in the Book of Daniel, especially the values related to the life of prayer, loyalty in service, honesty and openness to the media.

Abstract

Catechesis appropriate to the situation and needs of the people is known as contextual catechesis. Catechesis of contextual context emphasizes the people "there, and that time". Under these circumstances, the formulation of the issues discussed include: What is the nature of contextual catechesis? How to build up the Church as the People of God? What contextual catechesis contribution towards efforts to build up the Church as the People of God in the Parish of St. Hilary Klepu? This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. In this qualitative study, there are 15 people who were respondents in the study. Respondents include a Pastor, catechists and parishioners in the Parish St. Hilary Klepu. Results of this study indicate that contextual catechesis has a major contribution to building the Church as the People of God in the Parish of St. Hilary Klepu. It can be seen from the implementation of catechesis contextually in Klepu social dimensions (economic, social, political, cultural, and religious). According to respondents, the Church as the People of God has also been manifested in the Parish of St. Hilary Klepu according the five tasks of the Church (fellowship, liturgy, preaching, ministry and witness), and expressions of respondents that contextual catechesis was instrumental in building the Church as the People of God in the Parish of St. Hilary Klepu.

Abstract

The whole human education includes: physical, spiritual, intellectual, sosial, moral and sexual aspects. Genrrally, the whole human education is seen as fostering physical and spiritual aspects. Gravissimum Educationis says that Christian education is also the whole human education in which the implementation is based on the spirit of gospel and Jesus Christ. Through Christian education, the students are provided various knowledges and preverences of life so that, they can participate to realize the public welfrare and the ultimate goal of salvation. The development of a more and instant time has led to various aspects of life, including the process of education.The succes meaning of an education that should be emphasize the process, has sifted in meaning. The shifting meaning is evident from the efforts of the school or students who persue only academic values in a report of learning outcomes. In this regard, SMAK St. Augustinus Kediri, is one of Catholic educational institutions that must provide the whole and Christian human education. The issues that arise are: How is student's understanding on the wholeand Christian human education?How is the whole and Christian human education carried at SMAK St. Augustine Kediri? Based on the problems, the aim of this study is to describe students' understanding on the whole and Christian human at SMAK St. Augustinus Kediri and describe the implementation of thewhole and Christian human educationat SMAK St. Augustine Kediri. Through qualitative research, interviews were conducted to 10 respondents of grade XII SMAK St. Augustine Kediri. The conclusion of the study are: first, students understand the meaning of the whole human education. Second, students understand the meaning of Christian education. Third, wholeand Christian human education has almost been implemented at SMAK St. Augustinus Kediri, but there are still some things that need to be improved.

Abstract

Humans be created in the image of God. All people are called to holiness, that is to perfection, just as the Father in heaven is perfect. The theme called to holiness is first placed in the frame of the Basic Diocese of Surabaya which deals with the great theme of the Disciples of Christ. The theme of holiness contains elements about: what, when, where, who, why and how. The Kipling method or the 5W-1H method helps the writer in describing this holiness theme. Being called to holiness in context has the same meaning as being called to be holy. Holiness itself has a charge as perfect love. Holiness and love are two inseparable things, because God is both Holy and Love. Human union with God is the essence of holiness. Holiness has a relationship with the perfection of love, so holiness cannot be understood separately from one's attitude and actions towards God through his actions towards the poor who suffer. Holiness is a lifestyle that is connected with daily life according to the Beatitues that Jesus conveyed to His disciples.

Abstract

Humans have desire to live and relate intimately with God. The realization of the attitude to be more intimate with God can be achieved through spiritual activities such as personal prayer, devotion, meditation and especially the Eucharistic celebration. There is no other Church's activities that has the meaning more than the Eucharistic celebration. It is because in the Eucharistic Celebration, there is a celebration of the events of God's people living together in Christ. Eucharistic celebration is one of development’s benchmark of the faith church members. This research was conducted to answer the main question, which is: How can the Eucharistic Celebration develop the faith? The qualitative method was used in this research and the respondents were the 2nd to the 14th semester students of STKIP Widya Yuwana in 2018/2019 academic year. Respondents, in this research, were 10 students. This study aims to analyze the impact of the campus’ Eucharistic celebration toward the students of STKIP Widya Yuwana’s faith development. As the result of this research, 8 respondents (80%) stated that the Eucharistic celebration held on campus had an impact to their faith development, although 3 respondents (30%) stated that the Eucharistic Celebration had no impact towards the faith development. Next, there were 5 respondents (50%) who stated that the students lacked respect for the Eucharistic celebration, so that, it didn't have any impact on their faith development, although 3 respondents (30%) found that the Eucharistic Celebration held on campus had impact to faith development. So, there are 3 respondents (30%) who stated that the Eucharistic Celebration held on campus had an impact to their faith development and also said that the Eucharistic Celebration held on campus had no impact to their faith development.

Abstract

Blended learning is a learning model that combines face-to-face learning with web-based learning, by utilizing media and tools that can be used in an e-learning learning environment. The hope with the blended learning model is that educators must be ready and brave to face technological advances and students to be active and independent. The blended learning model is also applied to Catholic schools, including Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. The purpose of this study (1) is to describe what is meant by a blended learning model. (2) Explaining the implications of the blended learning model for the implementation of learning in Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. This study uses a qualitative method. The respondents of this research were the teachers of Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. The number of respondents in this study was 10 people. Abstract

Today, Catholic schools are called to serve and educate human beings to become integral persons, and to achieve their fulfillment in Christ. Therefore, the servant leadership model should be applied to the leadership of Catholic schools. The reason is that servant leadership is a leadership model taught by Jesus Himself. This paper uses the theory of servant leadership according to Robert K. Greenleaf. The problems: Do the leaders of Catholic schools understand the concept of servant leadership? How is the model of servant leadership applied in Catholic schools? This study aims to answer this problem. This study uses a qualitative research method with the interview method. The results showed that all the leaders of Catholic schools understood the basic concept of servant leadership. The servant leadership model has been well applied in various activities, policies, programs, and attitudes displayed by the leaders of Catholic schools. The implementation is based on ten characteristics of servant leadership.

Abstract

Abstract The art of music is an expression of someone who is poured into sound. For the community, music is a part of their life, because music serves as an entertainer, teaching the listeners. Catechesis is learning about faith for all people, which is given organically and systematically, this is given to people so that they know God more and can unite with God. The purpose of this research is to describe what is meant by music, to describe what catechesis is, and to describe the art of music as a means of catechesis effectively and efficiently in the parish of Madiun Vicariate. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is through in-depth interviews. Respondents in this study were catechists/sie catechesis in the parish of Madiun Vicariate. Respondents in this study amounted to (7) people. The results showed that the respondents knew enough that music could be used as a means of catechesis because it could convey messages through lyrics, melodies, and musical arrangements. Music can be used as an effective and efficient means of catechesis if it is processed creatively.

Abstract

Current technological devlopments are one of the driving forces for humans to start transforming from traditional ways of life to modern ones. The development of the media is indeed very necessary for innovations that provide positive benefits for life. The development of information media changes in life, one of which is the life of faith. The Tik Tok application is a trending music video platform network and is popular wih many people, through Tik Tok users are called upon to give testimony to the life of faith as relevant in the Bible. The purpose of this study is to describe what is meant by the Tik Tok application, what is faith that develops and the Tik Tok application has a contribution to the development of student faith at the Formation House Karya Ilahi of Madiun. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through in-dept interviews. The responden of this study were students who lived in the Formation House Karya Ilahi of Madiun. Respondents in this study amounted to (10) people. The results of the study show that respondents understand enough that the Tik Tok application has a contribution to the development of faith because they can spread faith with their own videos.
