Abstract

Lack of time with parents and lack of awareness of a child's potential can cause speech delays. This research aims to analyze the role of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) on the communicative development of deaf children. This type of research is qualitative research. This study included a systematic literature review that included 14 studies on IEPs and speech delays. Collecting relevant data using systematic observation techniques. Systematic observation techniques were used to collect relevant data from several articles. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. These findings underscore the need for IEPs to address the special needs of children with speech delays, the importance of individualized methods, the availability of appropriate resources and supports, and the participation of parents and other stakeholders in the IEP process. This study emphasizes the need to develop and implement high-quality IEPs, provide resources and assistance, and involve parents and stakeholders in help childrenhelpingh speech delays successfully. This study also briefly highlights the limitations and recommendations of the research evaluated, highlighting the need for collaborative and strengths-based IEPs, early intervention, family participation, and good communication with stakeholders. It can be concluded by emphasizing the importance of different interpretations, further research, and a holistic approach to inclusive education and the development of children's speech abilities.

Abstract

Studi ini memberikan investigasi mendalam terhadap iklan produk perawatan kulit kelas atas, dengan penekanan khusus pada wacana dan strategi linguistik yang digunakan dalam kampanye Laneige, Estee Lauder, dan Sulwhasoo. Studi ini meneliti cara iklan menyampaikan cerita yang menarik melalui penggunaan struktur paralel, pengulangan, pemilihan suasana hati, kata sifat, dan tata bahasa. Studi ini menekankan bagaimana bahasa memainkan peran penting dalam membangun hubungan dengan audiens dan item pemasaran, serta bagaimana media dan iklan membentuk perilaku dan pandangan konsumen. Investigasi menunjukkan bagaimana elemen linguistik dan tekstual digunakan dengan terampil dalam iklan untuk mengomunikasikan kualitas dan keunggulan produk perawatan kulit. Pengulangan menyoroti fitur penting produk, sementara struktur paralel menghasilkan penyajian informasi yang seimbang dan konsisten. Studi ini juga menekankan betapa pentingnya media dan iklan dalam membentuk norma dan nilai sosial, mencerminkan standar masyarakat, dan memengaruhi opini publik. Studi ini juga menyoroti penggunaan fitur sosiolinguistik dan bahasa ekspresif untuk membangun hubungan pribadi dengan audiens. Fitur sosiolinguistik dan analisis wacana kritis membantu memperjelas strategi persuasif yang digunakan oleh periklanan untuk membujuk perilaku pelanggan.

Abstract

Student who had difficulty in writing, especially if asked to write cursive letters. There were several writing difficulties faced by students such as the student's lack of focus in copying the writing on the board, this made student was slow in completing work. This study aims to analyze the learning writing disorder experienced by the student and ways to overcome the student's writing disorder. The qualitative research study that explores a second-grade student's writing issue. This research attempts to define the student's learning (writing) disorder, the type of learning disorder the student has, and solutions to overcome the student's writing issue. To collect data from second-grade students at elementary school the study used a case study design and descriptive approach. This study employed a qualitative research design using descriptive methodology and a case study approach. This study utilized direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research consisted of three stages: data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The study's findings indicate that the student problems with arranging written work on paper, spelling, and uneven spacing. The research closes by advising that the student get special education programs to address his or her writing problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh orang tua penderita keterlambatan bicara (speech delay) untuk mengatasi masalah keterlambatan berbicara (speech delay). Penelitian ini berupa penelitian dengan metode atau pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bersifat menggambarkan, memaparkan, dan menguraikan objek yang diteliti. Sumber data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Informan. Data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah para terapis wicara yang bekerja di “Tempat Praktek Tumbuh Kembang Anak Masadini”. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode indepth interview, metode observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan alat bantu sebagai berikut: Pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan pedoman dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Proses analisis data dilakukan melalui 3 tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan pemeriksaan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkah bahwa ada beberapa strategi atau teknik yang bisa diterapkan orang tua untuk mengatasi keterlambatan bicara pada anak yang dikemukan oleh para terapis, antara lain: 1) Melatih anak berbicara dengan benar, pelan dan berulang-ulang. 2) Saat berbicara selalu memperhatikan tata bahasa yang diucapkan. 3) Selalu melibatkan anak berbicara pada setiap keadaan dengan memperbaiki pengucapan anak yang masih keliru. 4) Penggunaan media teknologi yang mendukung pembendaharaan kata anak-anak. 5) Konsultasi rutin dengan dokter dan psikolog anak untuk mengetahui perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Students who have communication disorders will need special help from teachers in the regular education environments. This research aims to investigate the English teaching strategies and activities for students with language impairment, especially expressive language disorder. This research used descriptive qualitative research design which focus on literature study from relevance references. The collected data were analysed descriptively, thus the English teaching strategies and classroom management for students with expressive language disorder could be formulated. The result of the study showed that teaching strategies that could improve expressive language are Modelling, Expansion, Choices, Waiting or Withholding, Imitation, Parallel Talk, Picture Communication, Paraphrase, and Place Things Out of the Child’s Reach. Meanwhile, the activities that is suitable to be applied for students with expressive language disorder during instruction through which those activities are also applicable at home practice; wordless books, books with simple text, bubbles, play dough, toy animals, trains sets or car, and play food. Therefore, by implementing those strategies and activities, it is expected the students with expressive language disorder could improve their language competency either in receptive or productive use.

Abstract

Inclusive education in early childhood settings emphasizes equal learning opportunities for children with special needs within regular classrooms. However, the implementation of inclusive practices in public kindergarten classrooms presents various challenges for teachers, particularly due to diverse learner needs and limited institutional support. This study aims to explore the challenges faced by teachers in teaching children with special needs in public kindergarten classrooms. Employing a qualitative descriptive research design, the study was conducted in a public kindergarten that implements inclusive education. The participants were kindergarten teachers selected through purposive sampling based on their direct experience teaching children with special needs. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and classroom observations, and were analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns and issues. The findings indicate that teachers encounter significant challenges in managing children’s behavior and attention, implementing instructional adaptations without systematic planning, assessing inconsistent developmental progress, and coping with emotional stress. These challenges are further intensified by limited professional competence, lack of formal training in inclusive education, and minimal institutional support, including the absence of support teachers and specialist services. The study highlights the need for targeted professional development, structured instructional planning, and strengthened school support systems to ensure the effective and sustainable implementation of inclusive education in public kindergarten settings.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut guru untuk mampu merancang proses belajar yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada capaian akademik, tetapi juga pada pemahaman mendalam dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru SMA Negeri 2 Gianyar dalam menerapkan konsep deep learning melalui pendekatan Joyful, Meaningful, dan Mindful Learning. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop partisipatif yang meliputi tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan, dengan kegiatan berupa penyampaian materi, diskusi, simulasi, praktik penyusunan modul ajar, serta presentasi dan peer-review. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh pemahaman konseptual yang lebih baik dan mampu menyusun perangkat ajar yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, bermakna, dan berkesadaran. Kegiatan ini berimplikasi positif terhadap penguatan kompetensi pedagogis guru serta berpotensi mendorong transformasi pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan berpusat pada peserta didik.
