Abstract

The church is a legacy of the Kingdom of God which is owned by Jesus Christ, which also involves the participation of the Holy Spirit through believers of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, where they serve one another in the unity of the Body of Christ, worship God through the worship of the people. believe, and proclaim the complete testimony of life and the gospel of Christ, the Kingdom of God (Evangelism) for the ecclesiastical community and the world. The church is a supernatural life, namely the existence of power, divine events as recorded in the Bible, so that church service is a powerful ministry, although often church services are natural and routine services. Thus the study of the theology of power ministry concerns the exegesis of the use of the words "power" and "energy", and the movement of the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, including the disciples who are always accompanied by demonstrations of Divine Power, including the essence of the Kingdom of God, which is related to the meaning of the salvation of His renewal, and the role The Holy Spirit who gives gifts of the Spirit based on the grace of the power of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. The study of this theological foundation is necessary so that the meaning of powerful ministry can be understood clearly, including its application in the life of the ecclesiastical community.

Abstract

The subject of the unity of the church has appeared several times during the period of church history as a major subject. Even in the 20th century, differences of opinion on the subject of unity led to divisions. This point cannot be ignored. That is why the researcher conducted an integrated exegessa study on the meaning of the Church as the unity of the body of Christ Ephesians 2: 11-22. Ephesians 2: 11-22 is not a separate passage, but integrative, with other passages in the book of Ephesians. (this would be integrative both with Ephesians 2: 1-10 and Ephesians 4: 1-6) The conjunction "therefore" in Ephesians 2.11, describes the preceding verses that speak of grace. The suffering of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross, and His shed blood, are manifestations of grace that saves sinners. A demonstration of grace, which is free gift. It is the grace that saves people from sin. Thus Ephesians 2: 11-22 must be seen as a context that comes from grace. The saving or salvation based on the grace of God, as a building body of Christ, which is a union, which was previously "distant", ie those who are without Christ, not belonging to the citizens of Israel, become one body of Christ as intended by God. Ephesians 2: 11-22 explains that the unification of the body of Christ is a reflection of the journey of a Christian individual who has been saved by the grace of Christ God, is united or united with other Christian individuals to move towards the unity of building the body of Christ, as the Temple of God. the church as the unified Body of Christ, is built on the teachings of the Apostles and Prophets. Thus, the church, which has a government, a doctrine that may not be the same as one another, but the church is a unity in the bonds of the Spirit of peace, one faith, one Baptism, one god, one GOD the FATHER of all God, as salt and The light of the world, brings transformation and restoration for the world, through the carrying out of the task of the grace of Christ, namely the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom of heaven, so that all knees will kneel and all tongues confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the heavenly Father.

Abstract

Discipleship is undeniably the psychomotor of the church as well as the application of the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Himself did discipleship which started with 12 disciples as well as 70 disciples. Likewise with the life of the Apostles, there were Paul, Silas, Timothy and Titus, where they became messengers of Christ Jesus the Lord preaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. The kingdom of heaven gave birth to the church. So the youth with the concept of the kingdom of heaven should be a bridge for the millennial generation. Millennials tend to be: Multitasking (working with a variety of activities), Collaboration (strong collaboration skills), Transparency (openness in many fields), balance of work and way of life (healthy ways of life and nutritious intake), Tech savvy that is concerned with the latest technology / updates status, connected in social media, hard worker, concerned with job satisfaction. Reaching the end of the concept of discipleship with power of ministry based on the kingdom of heaven has not been as expected unto the millennial generation in life will become a strong generation with a mentality that is more than a winner with the power of the Lord Jesus working in their lives. They live under free sex, drugs and pornography ect. How can we as a leader to disciple them and knowing heavenly Father to become a millennial generation who have dignity and are directed towards the glory of God.

Talking about leadership in the context of believers is certainly closely related to the moral responsibility that is possessed. This is not only the standard in building one's identity as a spiritual human being that first needs to be achieved and can build, awaken the people around him. The development of self-quality becomes a pattern that strategically improves leadership abilities that have testimony in a wider scope and scope. On the one hand, leadership that can improve self-quality will move dynamically both internally and externally. This can happen because of the benefits caused, penetrating space and time according to the capacity possessed.

Abstract

This research examines the application of contextual theology in the organisation of worship and the discipleship process as an effort by the church to remain relevant in the face of social and cultural dynamics and the times. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research integrates various theories and models, including translation, anthropology, praxis, synthetic, and transcendental models, to reveal how the church can translate the teachings of the Christian faith adaptively and thoroughly. Contextualised worship does not only serve as a religious ritual, but also as a means of interaction between faith and the daily life of the congregation, thus encouraging active engagement and continuous spiritual growth. In addition, structured and holistic discipleship has proven effective in shaping character, faith maturity, and spiritual leadership, through the integration of spiritual, intellectual, and emotional aspects. The research also discusses the evolution of worship practices from the Old Testament to the New Testament, as well as identifying contemporary challenges such as the shift between traditional and modern worship. The results show that the implementation of church principles that are constantly renewed is key to success in maintaining fidelity to biblical values while remaining responsive to changing times. Future research recommendations include empirical studies across different cultural backgrounds, comparative analysis of contextual worship models, evaluation of discipleship programmes, and exploration of technology integration in worship settings. The findings make a significant contribution to the development of church practices that are inclusive, adaptive, and able to build vibrant communities of faith that are responsive to today's global challenges. The research also highlights the importance of inter-generational dialogue and community strengthening through innovative ministry activities, thereby encouraging positive social transformation and supporting the sustainability of the church's mission in an era of complex globalisation. The findings affirm the commitment of the real church.

Abstract

The church has the main mandate to carry out the Great Commission as written in Matthew 28:18-20. In the context of an increasingly complex multicultural society in the digital era and society 5.0, the church is faced with the challenge of delivering the gospel in a relevant manner without losing its theological essence. This research aims to examine the theological contribution of the church in carrying out the Great Commission in a multicultural society and formulate effective strategies in evangelism. Using a qualitative method based on literature review, this research analyses literature from various sources of theology, sociology of religion, and multiculturalism studies. The results show that the church has an important role in building social harmony through interfaith dialogue, multicultural education, and inclusive and contextual evangelism strategies. Churches that understand local cultures can bridge social and religious differences without losing Christian values. In addition, the utilisation of digital technology in church mission strategies allows for greater reach in the spread of the gospel. However, challenges remain, including theological differences, resistance to evangelism, as well as limited church resources in social ministry. Therefore, a collaborative approach with various communities becomes a strategic solution to strengthen the impact of the church's ministry. This research confirms that the church needs to continue developing mission methods that are relevant to the times, while remaining true to its theological principles. By actively engaging in social ministry and interfaith dialogue, the church can become an agent of social transformation that brings peace and prosperity to a multicultural society.
