Abstract

Tour guide profesionality in guiding tourist is the main key of tourist satisfaction. Tourist satisfaction is comparison pra-buying expectation a tour package with services received. If quality of services is so far from expectation, tourist isn’t satisfied, if quality of services is same with expectation, tourist will be satisfied, if quality of service more than expectation, tourist will be so satisfied. This research purpouse to know how the correlation of tour guide profesionality with tourist satisfaction of Danau Gunung Gunung Tujuh Kabupaten Kerinci. Kind of this research is kuantitatif correlative with cross sectional method, dependent and independent variable become research object. The sampling of this research are 60 tourist. Taking sampling doing by purposive sampling technic. To see how the correlation of each variable using statistic test that is chi-square. Based on the result of statistic test of tour guide profesionality variable, obtainable 43 respondent (71,7%) said that there is tour guide profesionality, 18 respondent (18,3%) said that less tour guide profesionality and 6 respondent (10,0%) said that so there tour guide profesionality. The statistic test result of tourist satisfaction variable, obtainable 34 respondent (5,67%) said saitisfied with service of tour guide, 15 respondent (25,0%) said very satisfied with tour guide profesionality and 11 respondent (18,3%) said not satisfied with tour guide profesionality. From statistic test result of chi-square obtainable p value=0,001. So, we can conclude that there is correlation between tour guide profesionality with tourist satisfaction. It mean that more high the level of tour guide profesionality, so more high the degree of tourist satisfaction. Based on the conclution of research, it is suggested the tour guide organizing themself in a tour guide association, so that tour guide can know right, obligation, and code of conduct profesion, and have a training to increase quality of tourist service.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini disebabkan oleh adanya permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan Repurchase Intention di Whiz Prime Hotel Padang salah satunya diduga karena belum tercapainya target repeater guest di Whiz Prime Hotel Padang yang diperoleh dari tahun 2022. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis signifikansi antara physical evidence terhadap repurchase intention di Whiz Prime Hotel Padang. Jenis penelitian ini digolongkan kepada penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pendekatan hubungan assosiatif kausal. Data yang digunakan berasal dari 99 responden yang ditentukan secara purposive sampling, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui penyebaran kuisioner serta sudah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Metode analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 38,8% responden menyatakan bahwa physical evidence di Whiz Prime Hotel Padang dalam keadaan cukup baik, kemudian pada variabel repurchase intention 33,3% responden memiliki niat beli ulang yang cukup baik. Kemudian kedua variabel tersebut dianalisis dan diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh physical evidence terhadap repurchase intention sebesar 10,4%.

Abstract

Museum Adityawarman merupakan museum yang berada di Padang, Sumatera Barat. Museum ini merupakan salah satu museum di Indonesia yang memamerkan artefak dan benda-benda seni budaya Minangkabau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh museum experience terhadap minat berkunjung kembali wisatawan di Museum Adityawarman. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian yang bersifat asosiatif kausal dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan data kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh wisatawan yang pernah berkunjung ke Museum Adityawarman dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden menggunakan teknik insidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner(angket) yang disusun berdasarkan skala likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 26.00 dan hasil analisis tersebut disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian adalah museum experience pada Museum Adityawarman dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 75%. Minat Berkunjung Kembali wisatawan di Museum Adityawarman dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 70%. Hasil uji T menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh museum experience terhadap minat berkunjung kembali wisatawan di Museum Adityawarman. Nilai Adj. R square sebesar 0,514 artinya variabel museum experience berpengaruh sebesar 51,4% terhadap minat berkunjung kembali di Museum Adityawarman dan 48,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.

Abstract

This research was motivated by an error related to physical motivation at the Rimbo Panti Nature Park (TWA) which was allegedly caused by the facilities at the Rimbo Panti TWA. This study aims to analyze the effect of facilities on the physical motivation of visitors at the Rimbo Panti TWA attraction. This type of research is quantitative with a causal associative approach. This research was conducted at the attraction of TWA Rimbo Panti, Panti District, Pasaman Regency. The population of this study were visitors who had come to the TWA Rimbo Panti charm, totaling 7,319 people. Selection of research samples using incidental sampling with a total sample of 99 people. Data collection uses a Likert scale model questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability, then the research data uses simple linear regression. The results of this study show that 59.6% of respondents stated that the TWA Rimbo Panti facilities were not in good condition, then on the physical motivation variable 79.8% of respondents assessed that they did not feel physical motivation. Then the two variables were analyzed and the result was that there was an influence of facilities on physical motivation of 77.5%.

Abstract

This research is about insight into the main components of tourism products in the Solok Nan Indah Weaving Village, which is based on several problems related to tourist attractions, facilities in tourist destination areas, accessibility, destination image and prices for tourism. The research purpose is to analyze the main components of the tourism product in Solok Nan Indah Weaving Village. The research type used was quantitative with a survey method with a population of 329 respondents sample of 181 respondents with data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a scale of Likert which had been tested for validity and reliability. This research was processed using SPSS version 25.00. The research results are that tourist attractions show the level of achievement of respondents with an average score of 75.1 with a good category, facilities in tourist destination areas show overall with an average score of 67.18 with a good category, but the provision of food and drink has the average value is 60.22 in the quite good category, accessibility shows overall with a value of average is 66.11 in the good category, but the condition of the parking lot and road conditions has value of average is of 63.65 and 63.31 in the category quite good, the destination image shows overall with value of average is of 72.48 in the good category, and prices for tourists show overall with an average value of 70.74 in the good category.

Abstract

This research is based on some problem associated with repurchase intention at Tede Coffee. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate the Influence of Product Innovation on Repurchase Intention at Tede Coffee Padang. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with population 987 person, and the sample on this reseach is 91 respondents. And then get form purposive sampling technique the sample is consumen of Tede Coffee. The data collection method in this research uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data was then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) software version 25.00. From the analysis results, it can be concluded that based on the t-test results, for innovation variables with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, it means that there is significant influence of product innovation on repurchase intention. According to the F-test with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, it means that product innovation simultaneously has a significant effect on repurchase intention. The product innovation variable influences the repurchase intention variable by 55.2%, while the remaining 44.8% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research examines the strategies for socio-economic development through tourism in Nagari Terindah Pariangan, Tanah Datar Regency. This village holds a rich history and unique tourist attractions, acknowledged as one of the most beautiful villages in the world. Using SWOT analysis, the study identifies strengths such as job creation and increased income, weaknesses like low product prices, opportunities such as enhanced human resources and employment opportunities, and threats including the potential shift from agricultural land use. Positive impacts on the local economy, fair benefit distribution, and the significant role of tourism in government revenue are also revealed. This research contributes valuable insights for local government, village leaders, and the community to guide more effective tourism development efforts aimed at improving the well-being of the local population.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Gen Z's intention to return to the Mifan Waterpark tourist attraction during the adaptation period to new habits. Gen Z is an important group in the tourism industry, and understanding their interest in visiting tourist attractions during the period of adapting to new habits is crucial for developing an effective marketing strategy. The survey method was used to collect data from Gen Z respondents who had visited Mifan Waterpark before. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that Gen Z had a high interest in visiting Mifan Waterpark again during the adaptation period to new habits, with an average respondent achievement rate of 79.41%. These findings indicate that efforts to manage and adjust Mifan Waterpark in dealing with adaptation to new habits have succeeded in attracting the interest of Gen Z. The practical implications of this research are the need to focus on increasing visitor satisfaction, adapting new habits continuously, using technology and social media, and developing experiences. unique to sustaining Gen Z interest in revisiting. This research provides valuable insights for the tourism industry in understanding the preferences and behavior of Gen Z consumers and determining appropriate strategies to attract and maintain their interest in the adaptation period to new habits.

Abstract

The video and poster competition is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in Community Service between the Tourism Education Study Program at Indonesia University of Education (UPI) and the Tourism Study Program at Padang State University (UNP). The aim of this activity is to educate and promote sustainable tourism in the era of Society 5.0, involving active students from Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Tourism from West Java and the Greater Jakarta area. This activity is designed to turn students into agents of change in raising awareness about the importance of environmentally friendly tourism practices and supporting the sustainability of local culture. Through this competition, participants' creativity in producing promotional videos and digital posters demonstrates a significant improvement in their understanding of sustainable tourism concepts. Additionally, this activity fosters cross-sector collaboration with academics, tourism practitioners, and local governments. Thus, this initiative not only advances sustainable tourism education but also enhances innovation in the use of digital technology to convey environmental and cultural messages. This serves as an essential foundation for sustainable tourism efforts in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of tourist facilities on visitors’ emotional value at Mifan Water Park, Padang Panjang, Indonesia. Using a quantitative, causal-associative design, data were gathered from 379 respondents via structured questionnaires. Tourist facilities were measured by indicators such as cleanliness, functionality, and availability, while emotional value encompassed comfort, enjoyment, and satisfaction. The regression analysis revealed a strong and statistically significant relationship (β = 1.856, p < 0.001), with an adjusted R² of 0.808, indicating that approximately 80.8% of the variation in emotional value can be explained by the perceived quality of facilities. Despite slight heteroscedasticity and non-normal residuals, classical assumption tests confirmed the model’s reliability. The findings emphasize that facility improvements are critical for enhancing emotional experiences and competitive positioning in regional tourism markets. This study contributes to the literature by contextualizing the role of physical environment in emotional value creation at localized water-based attractions in Southeast Asia.
