Abstract

Piyeung Health Center is recorded as the health center with the 5th lowest number of visits out of 28 health centers in Aceh Besar District. This is a concern because, although Piyeung Health Center has provided health services for BPJS Kesehatan participants in the PBI category, the low number of visits indicates that there are obstacles that hinder the optimization of the use of these services. This study aims to see the factors that cause the low number of visits at Piyeung Health Center. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was 3,394, and samples were taken using the accidental sampling technique of 100 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-square test using SPSS version 30 with a significance level of 95%. The results of the univariate analysis showed that 88.0% of respondents had a good level of knowledge, 71.0% of respondents had easy accessibility, and 80.0% of respondents reported good health facilities. Meanwhile, 77.0% of respondents considered the actions of officers to be less than good, and 57.0% of respondents felt good family support. Bivariate analysis showed that officer actions (p-value 0.044), accessibility (p-value 0.002), and health facilities (p-value 0.006) had a significant relationship with the utilization of health services, while the level of knowledge (p-value 0.140), employment (p-value 0.222) and family support (p-value 0.078) did not show a significant relationship with the utilization of health services.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has had a major impact on the health sector, including at the Banda Raya Health Center in Banda Aceh City. However, some employees still face technical obstacles and do not understand the digital system. This study aims to analyze employee capabilities in implementing digital transformation in 2025. The study is descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional approach, involving all employees (56 people) as samples. Data were collected through interviews and observations using questionnaires and checklists, then analyzed univariately and bivariately using STATA 17.0. The results showed that 48.21% of employees had low skills, 28.57% had a less supportive work culture, 42.86% had poor internal communication, 30.36% had poor knowledge, 35.71% did not receive training, 69.64% were middle-aged, and 100% had limited technological infrastructure. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between work culture (p=0.002), internal communication (p=0.003), knowledge (p=0.027), and training (p=0.015) with employee capability, and there was no significant relationship between age variable and employee capability (p=0.0487). However, no relationship was found between age and employee capability, and infrastructure variables were not analyzed because they did not vary. It is recommended to improve training, counseling, infrastructure provision, and explore other factors such as motivation and leadership style.

Abstract

Introduction: Reproductive Health Literacy (RHL) has been identified as a key factor in adolescent reproductive health problems because it plays a vital role in promoting overall well-being. However, limited research has been conducted to explore this topic in Indonesia. This study aimed to measure the RHL level of female adolescents in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Method: This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design with 694 respondents from four randomly selected schools. Participants were chosen using a convenience sampling technique based on their willingness to participate. Data was collected through self-reported questionnaires. Result: The study found that two-thirds of the respondents had adequate RHL level. However, 20.5% had problematic levels of understanding reproductive health information, and 28.1% had an issue applying this information. Conclusion: While most respondents possessed sufficient RHL, a significant proportion struggled to judge and apply reproductive health information. Therefore, the Health Office of Banda Aceh City should develop health promotion programs to help adolescents improve their ability to assess and make informed decisions related to reproductive health.
