Abstract

Dewasa kini, penggunaan literasi media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran telah menjadi suatu optional dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Literasi media sosial dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris menyuguhkan ragam informasi dalam hal pengetahuan maupun pengalaman untuk dapat memahami serta menggunakan bahasa Inggris sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Melalui literasi media sosial, ragam informasi dapat dipilih, dipilah, serta diimplementasikan ke dalam ruang lingkup pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai adalah mengembangkan desain literasi media sosial dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris bagi mahasiswa desain fashion Universitas Aufa Royhan di Padangsidimpuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Research and Development dengan menerapkan model pengembangan Research and Development (R &D) yang akan digunakan dalah model 4D, yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Akan tetapi, pengembangan tersebut dibatasi sampai pada tahap design, yakni menentukan model pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bagi mahasiswa melalui literasi media sosial. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah bahwa jenis design literasi media sosial yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa adalah pengembangan media sosial Facebook. Kemudian materi-materi yang dibutuhkan di dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mereka antara lain pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang bersikan materi-materi specific vocabulary dalam bidang fashion serta vidio-vidio pembelajaran bahasa Inggris lainnya, seperti how to serve costomer dan promote product of fashion.

Abstract

Perubahan kehidupan saat ini yang terjadi dikarenakan fenomena pandemi yang terjadi. Menjadikan banyak perubahan yang berarti pada pola kehidupan semua orang. Banyak hal yang harus dilakukan untuk menyeimbangkan diri. Salah satunya adalah pengelolaan produk dengan mengaplikasikan sulaman benang untuk meningkatkan nilai produk yang akan dilakukan pada proses pendampingan ini. Dengan tujuan agar Masyarakat mengetahui produk yang memungkinkan untuk dapat dikembangkan dengan meningkatkan nilai jual produk salah satunya dengan mengaplikasikan tusuk dasar sulaman tangan. Metode pelasanaan yang digunakan adalah komunikasi dua arah (instruktur dan peserta) dengan melakukan demonstrasi, praktek dan evaluasi. Bahan ajar yang digunakan adalah handout dan media presentasi (PPT), Leaflet, LCD, In focus, Sound System. Sedangkan alat dan bahan yang digunakan alat sulam benang seperti jarum tangan dan benang sulam, ram (pembidang), masker kain dan sarung bantal kursi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu pemaparan materi tentang peningkatan produk melalui pengaplikasian sulaman benang menunjukkan antusiasme peserta dalam kegiatan ini. Praktek beberapa jenis tusuk dasar sulaman benang yang diaplikasikan langsung pada masker kain dan sarung bantal menjadi satu keterampilan baru bagi peserta.

Abstract

The use of food additives (BTP) in the food production process needs to be watched out together, both by producers and by consumers. The impact of its use can have positive or negative consequences for society. Deviation in its use will endanger us together, especially the younger generation as the successor of nation development. This community service program aims to provide knowledge to students about food additives that are harmful to health and encourage students to consume foods that do not contain harmful chemicals. The target of the extension activities is the students of SDN 200514 in Labuhan Labo Village. Based on preliminary investigations, students did not know the dangers of food containing hazardous chemicals such as rhodamine B dye, borax preservative, MSG flavoring and artificial sweeteners. It cannot be denied that everyone, especially schoolchildren, really likes food snacks. Therefore, traders strive to give children an attractive appearance and taste by using certain ingredients regardless of safety. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out activities that include counseling about food additives that are harmful to health. This activity has contributed to improving the level of public health, especially for children to adolescents since they were in elementary school.

Abstract

Folklore is an example of a culture that exists today and must be preserved because most people today hardly even remember what folklore is. Because folklore comes from the community, that community should also preserve cultural heritage, namely folklore. Based on the background of the research, the researcher will focus on analyzing the Cultural Values ​​in the folklore of Putri Runduk Sibolga because culture is closely related to our lives as for the cultural values ​​that are focused on. namely cultural values ​​in human relations with religiosity, cultural values ​​in human relations with humans, cultural values ​​from human relationships with nature. Based on the description above, the researcher wants to examine more deeply the cultural values ​​contained in the folklore of Putri Runduk Sibolga.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is aggressively improving public health, the government has launched a handwashing with soap (CTPS) program which is useful for improving personal hygiene so that it avoids various diseases. CTPS is far more effective at killing germs, bacteria and viruses than washing your hands with water alone. Hand washing with soap (CTPS) is also known as an effort to prevent disease. This community service aims to increase knowledge and practice of washing hands with soap properly and correctly in kindergarten school children at Tursina Jaya Kindergarten. This community service activity was attended by 30 kindergarten students. This activity was carried out by delivering counseling materials and demonstrations of hand washing with soap. This activity was also interspersed with discussions and questions and answers. The results of this community service activity were received enthusiastically by students. All activity participants stated that this community service was very useful because it could broaden knowledge and the correct practice of washing hands with soap so that it would affect habits in daily life.

Abstract

Cancer is a cell that grows autonomously and uncontrollably and can then invade the surrounding organ tissue and have an impact on organ disorders. Based on observations at the Padangsidimpuan City General Hospital in the interval October to December 2023, it can be seen that there are 20 patients who have cancer. The types of cancer found include spinal cancer, virgin cancer, laryngeal cancer, and so on. This research is also based on obtaining data or information through observations or surveys and interviews with patients and stakeholders related to cancer treatment in Padangsidimpuan. Various techniques are used in cancer treatment, including surgical intervention, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. In addition, the medical team is responsible for controlling the side effects of treatment that may occur and providing supportive care, such as psychological support and pain management. These methods are intended to improve the patient's quality of life and provide comprehensive care that considers various aspects of cancer treatment.
