Abstract

Hemoglobin (Hb) is an erythrocyte tetrameric protein that binds to non-protein molecules, namely the iron porphyrin compound called heme. Hb is one of the laboratory tests on pregnant women which can support the diagnosis or occurrence of complications in pregnant women, these complications can be detected through danger signs of pregnancy. Danger signs of pregnancy are signs that indicate dangers that can occur during pregnancy (antenatal), which if not detected can cause death. The aim of this community service is to facilitate Hb checks and to increase knowledge of pregnant women through education about the danger signs of pregnancy. The method of this activity is carried out by checking hemoglobin levels using the Sahli method and providing counseling using the discussion method to pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy and using the KIA book as the medium. This counseling was carried out at the Batursari Village Posyandu which was attended by 10 pregnant women. The results of the counseling showed that 8 pregnant women had normal Hb, 1 pregnant woman was in the mild anemia category, and 1 pregnant woman was in the severe anemia category. and after education regarding the danger signs of pregnancy, all pregnant women have good knowledge.

Abstract

Imminent premature labor occurs at 20-37 weeks of gestation and the baby's birth weight is less than 2500 grams. Risk factors that cause imminent premature labor are bleeding, KPD, fetal growth retardation, fetal defects, twins, infection, preeclampsia and history of recurrent abortion. The purpose of the study was to provide comprehensive midwifery care with a history of imminent premature labor using midwifery management according to Varney and SOAP. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method using a comprehensive case study approach. The results of the study were comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. A found problems with a history of imminent premature labor, moderate anemia and KEK. Delivery was carried out normally pervaginally with labor induction. The newborn baby had mild asphyxia in the first minute and was normal in the 10th minute. The postpartum period was normal until the installation of the contraceptive, no complications or infections were found. The conclusion is that the comprehensive midwifery care that has been carried out on Mrs. A with a history of Imminent Premature Labor has complied with obstetric services and there have been no complications.

Abstract

AKI according to WHO (2020) is 235,000 people, in Indonesia (2020) 4,627 cases, in Central Java (2020) 530 cases, in Brebes (2020) 62 cases, and AKI at Bumiayu Health Center (2020) is 2 cases. One of the efforts is to provide comprehensive midwifery care with a continuity of care approach that is carried out from pregnancy to birth control. Researchers implement comprehensive midwifery care in pregnant women, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, and family planning using Varney and SOAP documentation. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection used interviews, observations, physical examinations, supporting examinations, documentation studies, and literature studies, as well as medical record documentation studies. The main informant is Mrs. M with additional informants, namely 1 coordinating midwife and 1 patient's family. Based on the results of pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, postpartum, and family planning there is a problem in pregnancy, namely found PEB at 35 + 4 weeks of pregnancy with blood pressure 159 / 95 MmHg.

Abstract

Pregnancy at age ≥35 years with grandemultipara (5th pregnancy) has a high risk of obstetric complications, especially accompanied by obesity. The combination of these three factors can increases the risk of preeclamsia, gestational diabetes, prolonged labor, postpartum hemorrhage, congenital hearth disease in the fetus and other complications. To monitor and prevent complications in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and family planning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a comprehensive study approach. Based on the results obtained, problems were found at the 1st pregnancy visit, namely a BMI of 32 m/kg2, then an Hb level of 8.9 g/dl at the 2nd pregnancy visit and mild preeclampsia with BP examination results: 140/98 mmHg, urine protein +1 accompanied by swelling in both legs at the 3rd pregnancy visit. Mrs. R’s delivery was carried out by cesarean section along with a sterilization. Mrs. R’s baby was born normally and no problems were found during the postpartum period.From the comprehensive midwifery care that has been provided and the problems encountered have been implemented and resolved well

Abstract

Menurut WHO (2019), AKI di Jawa Tengah sebesar 416 kasus, sedangkan AKB sebanyak 8,2/1000 kelahiran hidup. Puskesmas Bumiayu merupakan naunagan kabupaten Brebes yang ada di jawa tengah menyumbang AKI sebanyak 2 kasus dan AKB 5 kasus, hal tersebut salah satunya karena resiko tinggi yang terjadi pada saat kehamilan seperti KEK. Salah satu upaya untuk menurunkan AKI dan AKB dengan melakukan asuhan kebidanan secara komprehensif dengan pendekatan continuity of care. Tujuan penilitian ini mengimplementasikan pelayanan asuhan kebidanan komprehensif dimulai pada ibu hamil, bersalin, bayi baru lahir, nifas dan KB. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, Informan awal ditentukan dengan tehnik purposive sampling yaitu pada Ny. K sebagai informan utama dan 2 informan tambahan yaitu 1 bidan koordinator serta 1 keluarga pasien dan 1 informan triangulasi yaitu kepala seksi dinas kesehatan kabuptaen brebes. Metode pengumpulan data melalui indept interview , observasi dan pemeriksaan. Hasil penelitian Pada kehamilan Ny. K terjadi KEK, sedangkan bersalin hingga nifas Ny. K dalam batas normal dan memilih kontrasepsi kondom.

Abstract

Neonatal asphyxia is a condition when a newborn baby lacks oxygen shortly after birth. This condition can be fatal because it has the potential to cause difficulty breathing in babies which can have an impact on infant death. Asphyxia is one of the highest problems at Brebes Regional Hospital in 2023. This study aims to describe the management of asphyxia cases through a study of subjective and objective data, analysis and management. This study is a qualitative descriptive type with a case study approach. Initial informants with acidental sampling techniques. Data collection methods through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation of 1 main informant, namely Mrs. P, and additional informants in the family of Mrs. P, the midwife on duty, a pediatrician and an obstetrician. Data validity is carried out on one of the triangulation informants as a key, namely the VK room coordinator midwife. The results of the study on subjective data, Mrs. P's baby was born perabdominally, did not cry immediately, and had weak muscle tone. Objective data obtained APGAR Score 4,5,6 results of anthropometric examination, namely weight 3440 grams, Length 51 cm, head circumference 33 cm, chest circumference 32 cm, and there is a chest crack when breathing, with a respiratory rate of 65x / minute, heart rate > 100 which is 140x / minute and the general condition of the baby is weak and no reflexes were found. Data analysis with Moderate Asphyxia. Management of newborns with asphyxia at Brebes Hospital includes oxygenation and resuscitation and asphyxia is resolved.
