Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose - This study aims to determine and analyze the understanding of Palembang Muhammadiyah University students towards the Muhammadiyah Association.Design/methodology - This research is a quantitative study, collecting data using a questionnaire. Before the questionnaire was distributed previously carried out trials using validity and reliability. The number of respondents in this study were 234 students. Data analysis using descriptive t test analysis through the help of the SPSS application. Findings - Based on the results of this study, it can be said that in general students of the University of Muhammadiyah Palembang understand about the requirements of Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine corporate governance that represented by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, the size of the independent commissioner, and size of the board of directors had an influence on company performance at manufacturing companies which is listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2013 period until 2017. This study used quantitative descriptive with correlational design with the help of multiple regression. The data that used in this study was secondary data which was company’s annual report. The population of this study is all of the manufacturing companies amounting 146 companies with aim sample technique which have some criterias. The amount of sample in this study is 26 manufacturing companies. Simultaneously corporate governance had an influence on company performance at manufacturing companies which is listing in BEI for 2013 period until 2017 with contribution amounted 10,9%. Partially, institutional ownership had no influence on company performance, managerial ownership had no influence on company performance, the size of the independent commissioner had no influence on company performance, and size of the board of directors had an influence on company performance.Key Words: Corporate Governance, Company Performance

Abstract

Objektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan penganalisis pengaruh leverage, growth opportunity, dan firm size terhadap pelaksanaan hedging pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode Riset. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan kuantitatatif. Alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis Hasil. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji F ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan Leverage, Growth Opportunity, dan Firm Size, secara bersama-sama terhadap Pelaksanaan Hedging pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hasil uji t menujukan ada berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan Growth Opportunity terhadap Pelaksanaan Hedging, Firm Size berpengaruh positif dan dan signifikan terhadap Pelaksanaan Hedging, Leverage berpengaruh positif dan dan signifikan terhadap Pelaksanaan Hedging pada Perusahaan Sektor Pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Kesimpulan. Secara simultan, pelaksanaan hedging dipengeruhi oleh leverage, growth opportunity, dan firm size, namun secara parsial pelaksanaan hedging dipengaruhi oleh leverage dan firm size. Sementara growth opportunity tidak signifikan dalam mempengarhi pelaksaan hedging.

Abstract

Strategic management is a series of processes to organize and manage strategies that will be carried out in a business with certain goals and long-term goals through the processes of planning, organizing, actuating and organizing. Meanwhile, Islamic strategic management is managing a business that is run by remaining in the pleasure of Allah and free from the prohibition of usury. The management strategy referred to here is seen as necessary to apply in public markets as well as to maintain the existence of traditional markets in the midst of the rise of modern markets. The strategy taken at the Asembagus public market is in addition to making voices, rearranging the stalls and stalls, and preparing trolleys and baskets at the market door to make it easier for buyers. In addition, an Islamic market management system is also applied, namely by holding prayers and reciting the Koran together regularly every month every Maghrib prayer and every Legi Thursday night. The results of this study prove that by using strategic management in an Islamic way, it will further launch a business and the business that is run will be free from usury so that the results obtained are more blessed and beneficial.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This study aimed to evaluate public perception regarding the implementation of PON XXI Event North Sumatra-Aceh at Situngkir Panguruan Beach in 2024, focusing on economic impact, infrastructure development, environmental considerations, and cultural integration. The research examined community attitudes toward event implementation and its implications for local development. Materials and methods. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted using a structured questionnaire administered to 100 residents of Situngkir Village, selected through stratified random sampling. Data collection employed a 45-item questionnaire covering five dimensions, utilizing a 5-point Likert scale. Analysis included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26.0. Results. The study revealed predominantly positive perceptions of PON XXI Event implementation, with 82.5% reporting positive business opportunity expectations and 95% satisfaction with infrastructure development. Multiple regression analysis identified economic benefits (β = 0.445, p < 0.001), infrastructure development (β = 0.376, p < 0.001), and environmental management (β = 0.315, p = 0.002) as significant predictors of overall satisfaction. The model explained 78.4% of variance in community satisfaction (adjusted R² = 0.784, p < 0.001). Conclusions. The implementation of PON XXI Event at Situngkir Panguruan Beach demonstrated successful integration of event requirements with community needs, particularly in economic opportunities and infrastructure development. However, environmental management requires additional attention, particularly in waste management and beach conservation. The findings provide valuable insights for future sport-tourism event planning and regional development strategies.
