Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena banyaknya penyakit yang diakibatkan gangguan fungsi jantung dan pembuluh darah yang tidak terdeteksi secara dini. Pada makalah ini menyajikan pengujian dan pembuatan alat pemantau denyut jantung dengan sensor cahaya Phototransistor dan Photodiode sebagai penerima sinyal, sedangkan InfraRed dan Red LED digunakan sebagai sumber cahaya. Pengujian sensor ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis sensor yang sesuai untuk menerima sinyal jantung dengan metode Photoplethysmograph refleksi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil baca dari beberapa sensor dengan sumber cahaya yang berbeda-beda. Sehingga dengan hasil pengujian yang didapatkan akan digunakan untuk membangun alat yang dapat memantau denyut jantung dan ditampilkan pada TFT LCD 32”. Dari alat yang dibangun dihasilkan data yang memiliki selisih pengukuran sebesar 1 beat per minute (BPM).

Abstract

This paper presents the results of the motion therapy device Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) Machine which is applied to the shoulder joint with storage movement. The process of joint rehabilitation is carried out by continuous passive movements. This movement is intended not to overload the work of the muscles and there is no stiffness in the joints after surgery or stroke patients or patients who have carried out immobilization for quite a long time. The CPM Machine developed can move flexion and horizontal abduction. The position storage in this tool is carried out in a range of movements in flexion and horizontal abduction. So that with the storage of movement can be done movement / therapy exercises in patients with joint stiffness passively and continuously.

Abstract

An analysis of gear transmission on a countinous passive machine (CPM) from the 3-dimensional design has been carried out using Solidworks software. Analysis of the strength of the gear structure is affected by the weight of the patient's arm.Analysis of gear transmission that is affected by the load of the passive arm uses static simulation, by entering the patient's arm load. The facilities used are static simulation with the condition of fixed geometry in the parts related of the shaft, the effect of gravity of 10 m/s2, making mesh, and running simulation.The maximum stress that occurs in gear3 z = 100 is 4.5524e + 006 N/m2, the maximum stress on gear2 z = 80 is 4.81729e + 006 N/m2, the maximum stress on gear100 z = 20 is 9.08982e + 006 N/m2

Abstract

Patients after joint surgery require passive movements that are carried out continuously. The movement is given to the patient to reduce the stiffness that occurs in the joints after joint surgery. Joint stiffness is characterized by pain and limited motion of the joint, which is caused due to reduced synovial fluid. Synovial fluid in the joints can be reduced if the joint is not moved for a long time. This research will design a wrist joint therapy machine that can be moved flexion, extension, ulnar, and radial. Besides that, the device to be designed can be adjusted the angle of movement of the tool and the speed of movement of the tool. The angles of movement that can be reached are (1) flexion movement: 80 ° movement angle, (2) extension movement: 75 ° movement angle, (3) radial movement: 25 ° movement angle, and (4) ulnar movement: movement angle 39 °. Adjustable speeds include 1 RPM, 2 RPM, and 3 RPM. In the result of the testing device, we find the maximum difference of movement in 2° and the speed of rotation we have the difference in 0.5 seconds. Based on experiments that have been done, the tool can be controlled in accordance with the desired movement settings.

Abstract

Patients with joint injuries or after joint surgery are expected to perform the passive and continuous movement to avoid joint stiffness. This passive and continuous movement can be done with the help of a continuous passive motion machine (CPM machine). CPM machine is a therapeutic tool used to rehabilitate patients with joint injuries or post-joint surgery. In this study, a simulation test of therapeutic equipment for the ankle joint that can be moved rotationally will be carried out. The method that will be used in this research is the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method to analyze and simulate the strength of the elements used in the design model. The results to be sought in this study are the results of the stress and yield strength of the tool, so that the safety of the tool design will be known. The simulation results using carbon iron get a maximum stress of 3.012x105 N/m2 and yield strength of 2.20594x108.  Based on the results obtained in this study, it can be concluded that the CPM machine design is safe and strong to be realized

Abstract

Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) Machine is a therapeutic device that is used to assist the process of therapy and recovery of a patient after having joint surgeryor injury of the ankle. In this research, a CPM machine will be developed for ankle joint therapy. The rotation speed of the CPM machine will be controlled by a DC motor which is used to drive the ankle joint therapy device.Speed control for DC motor is used on a therapeutic device (CPM machine) to determine the level of the therapeutic process; therefore this device can be adjusted to the needs of the patient who will use the therapeutic device. Speed control of the DC motor that will be carried out in this research is using Proportional Integral (PI) control. With the PI control, the result of output will always be compared with the set point value. The result of this comparison will provide an error value, which later the error value will be processed by PI control.The PI values used in this research are Kp 5 and Ki 15.The test results of the CPM movement speed show that the difference between the set point and the resulting movement is 1 RPM. Where the speed tested on this tool is 3 RPM and 5 RPM.  So, the output of this device will be as expected. In brief of this research, a therapeutic device that can be adjusted the rotational speed as expected.

Abstract

The robotics training at SD Muhammadiyah Beji was conducted as an effort to optimize STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education at the primary school level. This program aims to provide new learning experiences for students through the introduction of robotics and to assist teachers in enhancing their understanding and skills in implementing STEAM concepts. In this program, students are introduced to basic robot programming using block-based languages designed to make programming accessible and engaging. Additionally, the training involves teachers in utilizing robotic devices as innovative and interactive teaching tools. The results of the training show that students were highly enthusiastic and developed a greater interest in science and technology. On the other hand, teachers gained a better understanding of STEAM-based learning and how to integrate it into their curriculum. The program successfully created a model of teaching that can be adopted by other schools and provided a reference for innovative learning methods to boost student interest. It is hoped that this training will inspire students to aspire to become technology experts in the future.

Abstract

Simple robotics training at SD Kanisius Beji, Playen, Gunung Kidul, was carried out as an effort to build students' interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning. The lack of exposure of students to technology and engineering is the background to the importance of this activity. The community service method used includes direct training in assembling and programming simple robots, involving students in grades IV to VI. The results of the training showed an increase in students' interest and understanding of STEM concepts, with 85% of students successfully completing the task of assembling the robot independently. This activity also improved students' critical and collaborative thinking skills. In conclusion, this simple robotics training is effective in introducing students to the basics of STEM and has the potential to be applied more widely in the elementary education curriculum

Abstract

Penguatan pembelajaran STEM di tingkat sekolah dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun fondasi literasi sains dan teknologi sejak dini. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan teknologi sensor ke dalam pembelajaran STEM di SD Eksperimental Mangunan melalui pendekatan eksperimen langsung yang interaktif. Kegiatan mencakup pelatihan bagi guru dan siswa, serta praktikum sederhana seperti merakit dan menggunakan sensor cahaya (LDR) dan sensor suara berbasis mikrofon kondenser untuk aplikasi nyata. Siswa terlibat dalam proyek-proyek kecil, seperti membuat lampu otomatis yang menyala saat gelap menggunakan LDR atau lampu tepuk yang aktif berdasarkan suara. Metode ini mendorong siswa untuk menggabungkan prinsip STEM secara kreatif dan kontekstual, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Evaluasi program menunjukkan peningkatan minat siswa terhadap sains dan teknologi hingga 40%, serta peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan masalah praktis. Keberhasilan program ini tidak lepas dari kolaborasi yang solid antara tim pengabdian, guru, dan pihak sekolah. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep STEM secara efektif, kontekstual, dan menyenangkan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di SMA Dominikus Wonosari bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pola berpikir siswa dalam bidang teknologi robotik melalui pengenalan konsep dasar pemrograman. Melalui pendekatan berbasis proyek dan kolaboratif, siswa diperkenalkan pada pemrograman berbasis blok yang aplikatif dalam pengendalian robot sederhana. Metode ini tidak hanya memberikan pemahaman awal mengenai cara kerja perangkat lunak, tetapi juga melatih kemampuan berpikir logis dan pemecahan masalah. Pelatihan dirancang agar siswa dapat langsung mengimplementasikan logika pemrograman dalam konteks nyata, sehingga konsep yang sebelumnya bersifat abstrak menjadi lebih mudah dipahami. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa-siswi SMA Dominikus Wonosari mulai memahami dasar-dasar coding serta mampu mengaplikasikan teknologi robot sederhana secara mandiri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi mampu meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan pada siswa sekolah menengah.
