Abstract

In language learning, the learners need to acquire the knowledge of some skills such as speaking, writing, listening, and reading. Among the four skills, speaking is said to be a very important skill. The purpose of this study is to find out students' perception on the use of YouTube in learning English speaking skill. More specifically, this study is directed to explore the benefits of using YouTube channels in learning English. The researchers used qualitative method. thus, the researchers used interviews to collect the data. Researchers chose interviews to find out the perceptions of students and also wanted to find out deeper information from participants. The researchers asked several questions related to research questions. The Participant of this research is the student of English education department and there were three students from sixth semester of English education department. The researchers used that class because the students used YouTube as a medium in learning speaking English the finding show that digital media is very important in learning English especially in using YouTube. student have their perceptions about using YouTube in learning speaking English. the researchers found many Benefits of using YouTube as A tool in learning speaking English. based on the interview data, the researcher interview Three students. They are students said that YouTube is very useful and has many benefits in learning English, especially in learning to speak English. However, researchers found little negative impact from using YouTube media as a tool in learning to speak English.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student responses to using the PhET simulation application in electromagnetic induction laboratories at MA Al-Djufri Blumbungan. A descriptive quantitative methodology was employed, with data collected through a survey using a questionnaire that gathered written verbal feedback from 17 twelfth-grade science students. The findings indicate that the PhET application was well-received by students and proved beneficial in enhancing their understanding of electromagnetic induction through virtual laboratories. Over 83% of the students agreed or strongly agreed on the effectiveness of the PhET application in the laboratory, demonstrating a high acceptance of this learning medium. This research supports the integration of virtual laboratories in science education as an effective way to improve student learning experiences and develop their conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa menjadi latarbelakang dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: 1) mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa dari prespektif kesetaraan gender, dan 2) mengkaji perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa dalam kesetaraan gender. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII dan VIII MTs Sunan Kalijogo Malang yang berjumlah 70 siswa. Sebanyak 35 siswa dimasukkan dalam sampel yang mana dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Adapun skala digunakan sebagai instrument. Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen motivasi belajar menegaskan validitas dan reliabilitas instrument penelitian. Statistik deksiptif dan uji-t digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) siswa perempuan berada pada kategori yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki dalam hal motivasi belajar, dan 2) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar yang signifikan ditinjau dari kesetaraan gender.

Abstract

Business Model Canvas (BMC) adalah salah satu alat manajemen strategis untuk mendefinisikan serta mengkomunikasikan ide atau konsep bisnis dengan cepat dan mudah. BMC ini juga dapat diterapkan pada UMKM warga di kelurahan Kolo Kota Bima. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat di Kelurahan Kolo, Kecamatan Asakota, Kota Bima adalah memberikan wawasan kepada pelaku UMKM tentang manajemen bisnis dan meningkatkan daya saing usaha mereka di tengah persaingan bisnis yang ketat. Strategi perencanaan bisnis menggunakan BMC bertujuan membantu pelaku usaha dalam menentukan cara mencapai tujuan bisnis, seperti mendapatkan keuntungan dan menjalankan bisnis secara berkelanjutan dengan daya saing yang kuat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, melibatkan peserta dalam proses perencanaan bisnis, bukan hanya melalui ceramah. Dengan melibatkan pelaku usaha, diharapkan mereka dapat menerapkan konsep ini untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki strategi bisnis yang telah mereka buat. Dengan menggunakan Business Model Canvas (BMC), maka para pelaku UMKM memperoleh 9 aspek tentang gambaran model bisnis. 9 aspek tersebut diantaranya adalah Customer Segments, Value Propositions, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Stream, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships dan Cost Structure

Abstract

Full day school is a learning system that is implemented fully, where children's activities are mostly carried out at school rather than at home. The Darul Ulum Integrated Elementary School has a special challenge, namely character formation in students. To find out more about the implementation of the full day school program in improving student character education and to answer the focus of the research, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach and used a phenomenological research type and used the interview, observation and documentation research methods. From the method, the researcher processed and analyzed data to obtain data or information. The subjects of this study were taken from 3 (three) school stakeholders, 3 (three) students and 2 (two) parents of students and literature searches for data related to books and journals for validity, researchers can use triangulation with source triangulation. The results of this study are the implementation of the full day school program in improving student character: Cognitive spirit, Affective spirit, Psychomotor spirit and spiritual aspects. The impact of implementing the full day school program is divided into two, namely positive impacts, namely: optimizing the use of time, children are well controlled, there is an emotional relationship between teachers and students, there is a positive response from parents of students. Negative impacts, namely: lack of interaction with family, boredom and fatigue, minimal freedom.
