Abstract

Sebagai pedoman utama kehidupan ummat muslim Al Quran adalah kitab suci yang sesungguhnya merupakan lautan hikmah dan pelajaran yang tak terkira tepi dan dasarnya. Islam dan dunia seni bagaikan sebuah mata uang yang memiliki dua sisi. Islam tanpa seni dan seni tanpa Islam tidak akan mencapai kesempurnaan. Bagaimana pendidikan seni menurut alquran dan haditst, menjadi fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relefan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas. Kemampuan berseni merupakan salah satu perbedaan manusia dengan makhluk lain. Jika demikian. Islam pasti mendukung kesenian selama penampilan lahirnya mendukung fitrah manusia yang suci itu, sebagaimana seni ditemukan oleh jiwa manusia di dalam Islam. Seni yang sesungguhnya adalah sesuatu yang agung dan mengandung nilai-nilai universal dan lebih cenderung mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan. Seni yang agung tidak pernah lekang dimakan usia. Seni yang agung selalu aktual bersama pengagumnya. Al Quran dan haditst tidak mengecam seni, melainkan mengecam sikap manusia terhadap musik, patung, gambar dan seni lainnya.

Abstract

The presence of habaib in Nusantara and Kalimantan (Borneo) not only leaves a historical trace, but also leaves an important role in instilling the value of multicultural education for the community. The traces and role of this habaib are depicted in several manuscripts of handwritten works left by the Kutai Kartanegara sultanate and Pontianak Sultanate that had triumphed in their time. The famous Kutai Kartanegara sultanate manuscripts are Salasila Kutai, Panji Salatin and Baraja Niti. While the famous Pontianak Sultanate manuscripts are Prince Sharif's Syair Script and Bahar Al-Lahut's Script. This research wants to answer the question of how habaib traces in Borneo manuscripts? and what are the roles of habaib as a cleric in the multcultural education of the people of the Sultanate of East Kalimantan and West Kalimantan? The manuscripts of the sultanate were then traced according to a philological approach and analyzed with a historical and paedagogic approach. The results of the analysis illustrate that habaib as a scholar has a role in instilling the value of multicultural education. The habaibs serve as preachers, teachers, and muftis, as well as sulthans in the system of government.

Abstract

Manuscript-based religious moderation narratives remain rarely studied, although manuscripts contain valuable thoughts and experiences that can serve as models for developing religious moderation in the homeland, especially in modern education. There are three Borneo Malay manuscripts worthy of exploration in terms of their narratives: the Panji Salatin manuscript (1605-1635), the Hikayat Banjar Manuscript (1859), and the Pangeran Syarif Manuscript (1870). This research aims to explore the narrative forms and moderation values contained within them. Based on philological and historical approaches, it can be concluded that: a. The Borneo Malay manuscripts contain various narratives, namely: juridical narrative, historical narrative, and prose literary narrative. b. The Borneo Malay manuscripts contain principles and symbols of religious moderation, including: principles of equality and justice, principles of preservation and respect for local culture, principles of non-violence, cultural symbols, and language; c. The principles and symbols of religious moderation contained in the Borneo Malay Manuscripts provide important implications for the development of inclusive education today.
